Seeing Byakuya agree, Zephyr finally smiled and invited him to sit down. Byakuya sat, looking a bit exasperated.
"Master Zephyr, is this the way to ask someone for a favor?"
Zephyr's face turned serious. "This is exactly how I ask for favors. Got a problem with that?"
"All right, all right, you're the boss," Byakuya conceded.
Ain, watching Byakuya's flustered expression, covered her mouth and giggled, her bright eyes narrowing into crescents.
Zephyr smiled, "Ain scored first place in this training camp's assessment."
"She's learned everything she needs to know but lacks real-world experience at sea."
"I thought you could show her the ropes and teach her about the dangers of the world."
Great, the old man truly didn't see me as an outsider. He even said that right in front of me. Byakuya wondered if he had "bad guy" written on his face.
"So, what was discussed at your meeting today?" Zephyr asked. Byakuya didn't hide anything and recounted the events of the meeting.
When Zephyr heard that Doflamingo dared to attack Byakuya in front of Sengoku, he was so angry that he nearly smashed the table.
However, Zephyr's anger subsided after learning that Sengoku had severely injured Doflamingo to save him.
With a sigh, Zephyr said, "Don't blame Sengoku. He was looking out for you. Doflamingo's identity is complicated."
"If you had killed him, it would have brought you big trouble."
Byakuya slumped on the sofa, crossing his legs comfortably but in a very inappropriate manner.
Ain's lips parted slightly, and she looked at Byakuya in surprise, not expecting such a relaxed posture from someone who exuded such an overwhelming presence outside.
"I know. Doflamingo's true identity is that of a Celestial Dragon."
Zephyr was astonished. "You knew, and you still dared to kill him?"
Byakuya smiled. "Why can't a Celestial Dragon be killed?"
Zephyr and Ain were taken aback. Killing a Celestial Dragon? They hadn't even dared to think about it, let alone do it.
With a serious expression, Zephyr warned, "Byakuya, it's best to avoid saying such things in the Marines."
"The actions of the Celestial Dragons are not something that can be changed overnight, and attempting to do so might cost you your life."
Byakuya nodded. "I know. That's why I'm only saying this in front of you, teacher."
Suddenly, he asked, "Master Zephyr, what do you think the formation of the Seven Warlords of the Sea means for the Marines?"
Zephyr, taken aback, responded gruffly, "Do you even need to ask? Any Marine knows that the formation of the Seven Warlords is an insult to Marine justice!"
Byakuya continued, "That's why I want to propose abolishing the Seven Warlords system!"
Zephyr shook his head. "You want to abolish the Seven Warlords system? As a Marine Rear Admiral, that's impossible."
"When the World Government demanded the establishment of the Seven Warlords, Sengoku, Garp, Tsuru, Akainu, Aokiji, and I all opposed it, but it still happened."
Byakuya smiled confidently. "Master Zephyr, if I dare to propose this, it means I have some confidence. I'll need your help when the time comes."
Seeing Byakuya's determined expression, Zephyr instantly realized that this kid probably already had a plan in mind.
Byakuya's visit this time was likely to seek his help specifically. "What kind of help do you want from me?"
"I need you to help me connect with other high-ranking officers in the Marines."
"When I propose abolishing the Seven Warlords system, I need their support."
Zephyr had been the chief instructor for years, and over 80% of the senior officers in the Marines were his students.
With this kind of relationship, they wouldn't refuse.
"That's a minor issue. The main problem is getting the World Government to agree to abolish the Seven Warlords system."
Byakuya's eyes sparkled with confidence. "Don't worry, teacher. By then, the World Government won't have a choice but to agree."
Byakuya already had a rough plan for handling this. Abolishing the Seven Warlords system would have immense benefits.
First, he would gain unimaginable prestige and achieve accomplishments, earning World Source Energy.
Second, he would gain more support from the Marines, rise in rank, and earn World Source Energy.
Third, altering the storyline would also yield World Source Energy.
As for the fourth benefit, Byakuya wasn't sure if it would work out, but if it did, he would gain a free Admiral-level ally, which would be fantastic.
....
Half a month later, Byakuya had set sail from the Sabaody Archipelago towards Water 7.
The team was unchanged from the last time, with Quake, Tashigi, and now Ain.
They were towing a hundred-meter-long branch of the Treasure Tree Adam, which could fetch a high price of four to five billion berries at an auction.
Because of this, they were frequently attacked by pirate crews who had gone "mad."
These pirates from the first half of the Grand Line were no interest to Byakuya, so he left them for Tashigi and Ain to handle.
Byakuya lay on a deck chair, sipping juice and enjoying the sight of the two Marine swordswomen in action.
In this world of pirates, the women were incredibly well-developed, with great figures and beautiful faces. Watching them fight was quite a spectacle.
This reminded Byakuya of how considerate Zephyr was, sending Ain, a beautiful woman, to keep him entertained on the journey.
If Zephyr knew what Byakuya was thinking, he might have wanted to discipline this wayward student personally.
On the other hand, Quake was in charge of disciplining the unruly soldiers on the ship.
Whenever a soldier couldn't help but sneak a glance at Tashigi and Ain fighting on the pirate ship, Quake would appear behind them, smack their heads, and shout,
"Is that something you should be looking at? If you keep looking, you'll be the one dealing with the next group of pirates!"
Under Quake's strict supervision, the soldiers quickly adjusted their behaviour, much to Byakuya's satisfaction.
Quake showed great potential as a disciplinarian. However, Byakuya wasn't just watching idly.
As a great swordsman, any casual guidance he offered Tashigi and Ain led to noticeable improvements in their swordsmanship.
This excited both women, making them eager to show off their skills in front of Byakuya, which only made the spectacle more captivating for him.
