You want something? Make it happen!

3rd Person POV

At Dressrosa's main plaza, Jackson's chosen stage for his supposedly grant play. The ground suddenly started rising up forming a small hill, as it pushed away and even damaged or destroyed buildings nearby.

"Oi! What is happening!"

"Ahhh! The plaza! Is someone attacking?!"

"Hey! Over there! Someone is coming out from there!"

Most civilians and passersby were quick to notice incoming danger and turned, ready to run. Only a few took their time assessing their current situation. Among them a middle aged woman noticed a few figures walking out of, what seemed to be caves in the hill. Soon others also began to notice these figures.

Every one of them was quite noticeable in his or her own way. For example an old gramps in skintight suit, looking as he could collapse any moment now. Or a disgustingly slimy guy, who has snot running down from his nose. But the one, most passersby almost immediately recognized was a youthful looking tall man with blonde short hair and reddish sun glasses.

!

"Oy… what is the meaning of this?!"

"Th- they came back? Why?! Do they want to fight?!"

"D- D- Doflamingo and his crew are back!!"

His sudden appearance shocked many since it was no secret that he fled from Dressrosa shortly before Jackson and his crew arrived. Those with more than 3 intact braincells quickly made the connection and roughly understood his action.

But now Dressrosa's official ruler came back with his crew's commanders and quite flashily on top of it.

"Could it be… Are they planning to wage a war with the Jackson Pirates?!"

"War against the guy who beat admirals as a 12 years old? I don't believe it!"

Doflamingo and his 'family' completely ignored those people and their mouths as they started moving. Turning to the castle in the distance he inhaled deeply before letting out a terrifying shout.

"Portgas D. Jackson! Come out and fight me!"

"EEEEHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

Jackson POV

"Portgas D. Jackson! Come out and fight me!"

"*whistle* Damn, he is playing his part to an A."

"That he does."

Enel and Robin commented on the performance respectively. I was currently chilling in the palace, together with Rebecca and the others while watching the happenings in the plaza like a movie.

'Doflamingo' reappearing and challenging me to a fight… What a joke. Of course that couldn't happen especially after what Law and Sabo did to them.

"On an off-note, I didn't know captain could come up with something so… so…"(Penguin)

"Evil? Shrewd? Nasty?"

Sachi and Penguin calmly discussed as if they were talking about the weather.

'Note to myself: later, send both on a mission that will have them get beaten up by others.'

These two, Sachi and Penguin, just won't learn when to better not comment something. Though this time they aren't completely wrong.

As someone who read the One Piece manga, I of course knew Doflamingo's dirty little secrets, especially regarding Dressrosa. But would anyone believe me after hearing what kind of shit went down in this kingdom?

Probably not! So why not let the people hear it from his mouth directly? Well, almost… Of course he wouldn't be stupid enough to shovel his own grave.

That's where we come into the game. Using Law's devil fruit's ability, we switched the bodies of the donquixote commanders with the captured members of Cavendish's crew.

"Oh, they are about to 'attack' the surroundings!"

Sabo, exclaimed totally excited despite already knowing the script. He seems to be enjoying this more than I thought

"Ahh! The masked hero appeared! That is my grandpa! The one with that helmet is him right?"

Matching his energy was little Rebecca who was sitting on my lap (no bad thoughts) and enjoying head pats from time to time.

Back to the staged fight. Of course since none of us had any desires to rule Dressrosa, it shouldn't be anyone of us who save the people. Leaving that part to Riku was decided from the very beginning since I want to reinstall him as a king.

The fight between the king along some of his most loyal guards that went into hiding with him and the donquixote commanders started. The mentioned guards are those who believed in their king and helped him stay hidden so far.

Riku is wearing the same shit he wore in the colosseum in the anime. No one noticed his real identity but people started cheering for him since he saved the pair that got 'seriously attacked'.

On the other hand, 'Mingo' finally used his devil fruit powers. Swinging ultra thin but sharp and durable wires he… looked nothing like the real thing. That fighting style looked absolutely amateurish.

'Tsk. Guess beggars can't be choosers since we took 10 days to beat the bare minimum into them.'

Still, despite his underwhelming battle style, the double managed to cut Riku's helmet in two, finally revealing his identity after nearly 20 minutes brawling. The few civilians who still have yet to run away got the shock of their lives after seeing who came to their rescue.

"Y-You?! But why?! How?!"

Such cliché shouts could be heard from the people, while the other fighters paused their battle and took a look at the revealed former king.

"You! What are you doing here?!"

Our Mingo double began his villainous speech about how he should be dead and reminding everyone that the old king slaughtered his own people.

"No! That is not true! King Riku did no such thing!"

"You evil bastard! It was you all along!"

Of course his trusted aids denied that but words alone are cheap in this situation.

"For however few of his old loyal knights remained with him, their hearts and trust sure seem unshakable."

Kench suddenly commented from behind me. I can totally see where he is coming from with this. We didn't give them any lines to say, so right now they probably just shouted how they truly felt.

Despite knowing about the whole setup, the donquixote commanders are practically standing in front of them and probably triggered some suppressed feelings or perhaps traumas. Honestly not that I care. Back to the fight, the old king's side started getting heavily suppressed much to the dismay of the hidden onlookers from the shadows.

"Oh no! Grandpa don't lose!"

Well maybe a little to Rebecca's dismay as well. It reached the point where only a miracle could save them now. Luckily we have something better.

"Enel You can go ahead and start the next act now."

"Aye captain."

Calmly answering like always, he vanished in as show of bright lightning dancing through the room. It didn't take him full 20 seconds before the situation on the field suddenly changed.

Not because he entered the battlefield, no. It's because he went and finally knocked out the one donquixote commander we didn't let participate in this. Sugar.

As every toy in Dressrosa started turning back, memories of their loved one returned to the citizens and with them old feelings resurfaced.

The picture changed from the central plaza to recognizable locations throughout the city showing either tearful and touching reunions or the complete opposite.

"…Papa…"

Even Rebecca was no exception. She remembered her father, who stayed by her side and protected her even when she couldn't even remember him anymore.

Her little hands got balled into fists while shaking, on top of that her eyes are getting red and teary yet for some reason she refuses to cry.

"Heh! Speak of the devil!"

Kuina, who was sitting to my left couldn't help but comment crudely once the recording snail changed the scene back to the plaza. Like in every cliche story, someone has to barge into the fight and save the fighters who represent the 'good' side from the over powered 'evil' side.

In this case it's Kyros who suddenly jumped into the fray after turning back into a human.

Both side continued their fights, starting the second last phase. It's the part, in which the villain gains a loose mouth after lamenting that his plans failed. And sure enough our fake Mingo soon started to rant.

"You maggots! Don't you know who you are trying to fight?! I am Donquixote Doflamingo, the man who even blackmailed the World Government into making me a shichibukai! Riku Doldo you rat! Last time you couldn't even resist my control and had to slaughter your own people while crying! What makes you thing this time will be different!"

And on and on he went with his rambling! Those among the citizens who believed in him till now, must feel like the biggest dumbasses in Dressrosa's history! Jokes aside, I'm sure there are many emotions brewing in them right now.

Those will lead to confusion, anger, resentment, chaos, etc so before they explode a new ruler must appear and appease their hearts.

"Hey, has anyone seen when the donquixote commanders and king Riku's soldiers sneaked off?"

"Huh? You're right! The left the main show to Mingo and the other two!"

Sabo answered Bepo's question nonchalantly. As they said everyone besides our main actors left the stage and just made some fighting sounds to keep up the illusion while hiding, probably underground.

Our pika double would even cause small parts of the ground to move and wiggle discouraging those who would be stupid enough to wander around looking for trouble.

"I guess it's slowly coming to an end." (Kench)

"Indeed. If they don't suddenly break their legs and necks, this can be considered a success."(try guessing)

As they said, the play is coming to an end. King Riku's new allies just arrived, a hundred dwarves flying on their beetles and together they swarmed Mingo. His end is near

Looking back at how it turned out I must say… that it should seem suspicious to everyone with a brain.

'*sigh* Everybody with a bit intelligence should notice that something's fishy with how things played out. Let's just hope the news articles will fall for it. After all it's not like they could know what really went down.'

And so I turned my attention back to the screen.

(AN: Hey everyone! Managed to write a quick chap before going to sleep, and coupled with my long absence I hop you'll be understanding for some mistakes you might find. Be honest how predictable was the plan to switch their bodies and fake a grant confrontation to decide Dressrosa's future? 1 being unpredictable and 5 being super obvious.)
