After being taught by Jinbe, Kenshin didn't stop his training and continued mastering his newly learned Armament Haki along with his Observation Haki his mastery in Infusion also leveled up making him even more powerful.

The Fishman district also finished reforming, a huge Ferris wheel could be even seen from Kenshin's location, and just as Kenshin predicted the sea park attracted a lot of attention from the residents of Ryugu Kingdom children and adults alike all visited Fishman district just so that they experience what is like to play on the sea park which put joy to most the fishmen in the island.

Otohime and her children would also occasionally visit him and they will sometimes see firsthand how Kenshin plunders a pirate ship making Otohime hesitant if she should bring her children back at the front entrance.

Fisher Tiger's and Jinbe's allegiance was still not made public due to Kenshin not wanting the fishmen who are following Fisher Tiger and Jinbe to have doubts about their leaders.

A lot happened in one year, out of the blue a story about the blind swordsman who plunders treasures from evil humans so that he could help the poor who are in need making Kenshin shook his head knowing that Otohime was the one who made this story up.

Something also happened in the New World that took Kenshin by surprise, one day, while he was training Jinbe brought him a newspaper and saw Jack on the front page with a caption "A new rookie entered the New World he is a notorious pirate who always recruits the pirate crew he defeated making him extremely dangerous."

Fishman Island, Front Entrance

A group of Fishmen was gathered here today, The Royal family's Gondola could be seen docked near the guardhouse.

Kenshin who was being surrounded by the Royal Family, Jinbe, and Fisher Tiger slowly took off his bandana that covered his eyes for a full year.

As the bandana fell off Kenshin opened his eyes trying to adjust to the lighting, he then glanced at his surroundings and saw familiar faces which made him smile.

"Long time no see, I guess?" Kenshin said as he greeted them.

The group laughed hearing Kenshin's greeting, Shirahoshi who was 5 years old now approached Kenshin and asked "Boss Kenshin, when will we go to the surface?"

Hearing her question Kenshin didn't look troubled but pointed at the 3 prince's and said, "If your 3 big brothers can finally defend you without me being around then that is the time for you to visit the surface."

The 3 prince's who were thrown under the bus could only give a weary smile as they told Shirahoshi that they train even harder so that they can visit the surface as soon as possible calming Shirahoshi who kept on asking her brothers when they will be stronger.

Neptune who was observing the whole time finally spoke, "Kenshin, what you did this past year really helped the Fishman island, I hope that you can follow us to the Ryugu Palace."

"Oh? So another meal huh, count me in then." Kenshin replied, accepting Neptune's invitation.

The group then boarded the Gondola as they made their way towards the Ryugu Palace.

On their way back Kenshin noticed that the Ryugu Kingdom was a lot more different from the past, he then saw the Gyoncorde plaza that was empty before but was now filled with young fishmen who were training their fishman karate.

He then turned his attention towards Otohime and asked in a sarcastic tone, "Queen Otohime, did you already stopped preaching about how you want to live with humans and bringing the entire Fishman race to the surface?"

Otohime shook her head and replied with the usual warm smile on her face, "I already stopped because I know that you will be the one to make my and the Fishman race dream come true."

Tongue-tied, Kenshin didn't know what to say when he heard Otohime's honest reply he only shook his head and chose to ignore Otohime's stare.

The Gondola was a fast and in a few minutes they finally reached the Ryugu Palace, they were then immediately brought to the dining hall where the food was already set.

Neptune then told them to take their respective seats, he then sat at the center of the table and gave a gesture to the minister of the right who was standing at the door.

Seeing Neptune's gesture the minister of the right nodded his head as he left the room. Neptune then stared at Kenshin for a while freaking Kenshin out thinking that Neptune had a grudge against him.

"Uh, do I have something on my face Neptune?" Kenshin asked as he rubbed the tip of his nose uncomfortably.

Neptune shook his head with a smile on his face as he kept staring at Kenshin and was about to say something when suddenly the minister of the left barged into the dining hall with a flustered look on his face.

"King Neptune! a..a..a Celestial Dragon ship was spotted outside of Fishman Island!" The minister of the left said while stuttering.

"WHAT?!" Neptune, Fisher Tiger, and Jinbe all stood up in shock they then stared at each other not knowing what to do.

Kenshin who was seated in between Fisher Tiger and Jinbe, had thoughtful look on his face as he said while standing up.

"Neptune, leave this to me just make sure that Otohime and your children will be heavily guarded. don't let them go near the celestial dragon and just let them stay inside the palace."

Neptune nodded his head, as he ordered the royal guards to escort his wife along with his children. Otohime who was being sent to her room looked back at the dining hall one last time and left.

Seeing Otohime leaving, Kenshin then turned his head towards Fisher Tiger and said in with a serious tone, "Go and guard Otohime in the dark, I know for sure that she will try to escape and meet up with the celestial dragon."

Hearing Kenshin's order Fisher Tiger had a reluctant look on his face, he was about to disagree when suddenly a fist came straight towards his face knocking him down.

"Idiot, don't even think about coming with us. you of all people should know the reason why a celestial dragon would visit Fishman island that is 10,000 deep in the sea." Kenshin said in annoyance.

Rubbing his swollen face, Fisher Tiger shook his head and he gave out a weary smile, "I'm sorry about that, Kenshin. I will go and guard Queen Otohime secretly to prevent her from escaping."

He then left the room and went straight to the place where Otohime and her kids were currently residing.

After Fisher Tiger left the only ones left in the room were Kenshin, Neptune, and Jinbe.

"What is your plan, Kenshin?" Jinbe asked in a nervous tone, even though he was strong he still couldn't help but feel nervous knowing a celestial dragon visited their homeland.

Kenshin rubbed his chin and replied, "The three of us will meet with the celestial dragon at the front entrance, I am pretty sure that they will be expecting our arrival so let's hurry up and go see them."

The three of them then boarded Kenshin's manta ray who followed behind the Gondola earlier and they made their way back to the front entrance hoping that the celestial didn't wander the island yet.
