Trying to frame me?

Leaving the fishman district, Kenshin carelessly roamed around the island and all the fishmen he encounters will look at him nervously as they unconsciously back off.

*Tap!* *Tap!*

Kenshin who was walking aimlessly suddenly felt some tap on his back, he glanced behind him only to see a female mermaid with golden hair.

"What do you want?" Kenshin asked impatiently, he didn't really want to interact with anyone right now.

The golden-haired mermaid took Kenshin's hand as she suddenly started crying, "I could feel the anger and helplessness you are hiding deep inside you, if you want to release that pent-up anger inside of you I will gladly hear you out and help you."

"Huh?" Kenshin looked at her weirdly, he shook his head and pulled his hand back as he continued to wander around.

Just as he was about to start walking the mermaid pulled his arm greatly pissing Kenshin off, he turned around and was about to scold the mermaid when he suddenly felt warm.

He looked down and saw the mermaid hugging him tightly and said with a soft voice, "It's ok, everything is gonna be fine. you don't need to keep forcing yourself and should let go of the wrath that is lying dormant inside your soul."

After finishing her speech the mermaid looked up expecting Kenshin to have a calm aura but what she felt made her legs go soft as she started to slowly back off.

Kenshin glared at the mermaid and said with a voice filled with bloodlust, making the mermaid embrace herself unconsciously as she started shaking uncontrollably, "You don't have the right to tell me to let go of my wrath, I am thankful that you are trying to cheer me up even though we just met but you don't have to force someone to let go when you don't even know what happened to them."

"Queen Otohime!"

Just as Kenshin finished speaking a group of royal guards arrives and when they saw their Queen trembling on the ground they immediately raised their weapons and pointed them towards Kenshin.

Looking at the weapons that pointed towards him Kenshin couldn't help but laugh, "Hahaha, you fishmen are really trying to test my patience huh?!"

*Swoosh!* *Bzzzt!*

A strong shockwave came out from Kenshin making all the fishmen royal guards drop down as they fainted from the shock.

"What kind of power is that?" A seahorse fishman who was the only one who didn't faint looked at Kenshin with disbelief, he then immediately turned his attention towards Otohime and her also looking at Kenshin in amazement.

Kenshin who just unleashed his haki looked at the fainted royal guards in confusion, he then glared at the seahorse fishman and asked in anger, "What kind of shitty act is this? are you trying to frame by letting your royal guards faint and putting the blame on me?!"

"Huh?!" The seahorse fishman looked at Kenshin in astonishment he didn't think that such a shameless human being could exist.

"What's going on here?!" Jinbe who was looking for Kenshin saw the group of unconscious royal guards and couldn't help but ask.

Seeing Jinbe appear the seahorse fishman sighed in relief and said, "Good thing you are here boss Jinbe, that human used some unknown power and cause the royal guards to faint but he is extremely shameless that he even feigned ignorance and said that we are trying to frame him."

After learning the general situation Jinbe rubbed his forehead and acted as the peacemaker.

He looked at Kenshin and said, "Kenshin, I think you have awakened some kind of power that made the royal guards faint. they wouldn't do such a thing because their only role is to protect the queen at all costs."

Kenshin already has calmed down a lot by now and stared at the seahorse fishmen at the Queen Otohime who was now smiling at him.

'Weirdo' Kenshin thought when he saw Otohime smiling like nothing happened.

He lowered his head and sighed in exasperation as he apologized, "I understand now, I'm sorry for blaming you when I was the one who was at fault."

Otohime waved her hand and replied, "No need to apologize we were also in the wrong, how about you follow us and visit the Ryugu palace?"

Hearing Otohime's invitation Kenshin first looked at Jinbe and saw the latter nod his head.

"Alright, but please be mindful of your image. you are a respectable Queen you don't have to hug me all of a sudden. even though I am a handsome young man I already have a fiancee and I am not into women that are older than me."

When the group heard Kenshin admonishing Otohime's action they couldn't help but want to smack the young human's head and burry him alive in the sea forest.
