Reaction To Plan

1484 of The Seas Circle Calendar

"Are you serious about this, an academy will cost a lot of money."

"I know, that's why I'm not asking the Marines to take money from their budget to support this, I know how the World Government treats us finically."

Kong and Hercule were currently discussing Hercule's plan to create an Academy, which would possibly expand the quantity and quality of the Navy recruits.

"Then where are you getting the money from, even if you have money to create it, it still takes a lot of money to maintain it."

"It's being Sponsored by Nature's Family."

"Th…" Kong was stunned for a moment, not in disbelief, but in confusion.

"But why, I understand that you're the leader's son and all, but this is likely to make the Marines much stronger, therefore making the World Government much stronger, and you and I both know that NF and the WG aren't exactly allies."

"This is Nature's Family way of helping the people of the World who suffer from the evil that plagues it. And concerning the WG, we'll know whether or not this is helping them if they ever decide to tear face with Nature's Family."

This is actually true, Ephon always wanted a way to help the innocent people who suffer in the seas, but if he and his men started going around doing the Marines' job, that would force the WG to go all out and take action against Nature's Family.

Because that would affect the Balance that the World Government has worked hard to create and maintain.

So he decided against doing so and focused on his Territory, but when his son revealed his plan, Ephon immediately thought of the idea of donating money to create an Academy that his son controls to expand the navy so that more people could be saved, while also displaying a positive image of themselves to the future of the Navy.

"I fully support your idea too, Zephyr also talked about the fact that many individuals chose to become pirates because of the tragedies they suffered due to the absence of the Navy, but we'll still have to wait for the World Government's answer."

Within the imposing confines of the World Government headquarters, five figures of authority sit around a polished mahogany table, their faces illuminated by the soft glow of candlelight.

These are the Five Elders, the highest-ranking officials of the World Government, their influence extending far and wide across the vast expanse of the world.

Clad in elegant robes adorned with the emblem of their office, the Elders exuded an aura of power and authority, right now, they were currently engaging in an important discussion, their voices low and measured as they weighed the implications of the matter at hand.

"It's Nature's Family again, they had been silent in matters outside of their territory for half a century, what can't they continue like that." Saint Jaygarcia Saturn said grumpily.

Before them lies a stack of parchment scrolls and documents, detailing the proposal put forth by the Navy—a program that promises to improve the quantity of soldiers in the Navy and potentially quality, thereby reshaping the balance of power within the world.

"This isn't beneficial to Nature's Family at all, and a waste of money for them, what is that monster thinking? I don't believe he would do anything to help us, without it somehow being beneficial to them." Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro muttered suspiciously.

"Although they said that this is their service to the people of the World, we would be dumb to believe them." Saint Marcus Mars said mockingly.

As they pore over the details of the proposal, the Elders exchange solemn glances and murmured words, each conveying their own thoughts and concerns about the potential ramifications of the Navy's plan

They didn't even put the Navy in their eyes, what they were thinking about, was what ulterior motive Nature's Family might have.

After a few exchanges, Topman Warcury, a look of realization appeared on Topman Warcury's face.

"I think I understand, It's his son who is in control of this academy, they should be trying to slowly turn the navy into their force or a neutral one, by brainwashing them with ideas, and buying them over through things like this." Warcury revealed his deduction.

Silence descended upon the chamber as the gravity of the situation sank in, the Elders exchanged incredulous glances as they grappled with the enormity of the revelation.

"The Navy shouldn't be a threat to them, so why would they try to make them one of their own or even neutral against them as Warcury hypothesized?" Shepherd Ju Peter questioned, puzzled.

"Maybe not the current Navy, but remember what is the goal of this academy, 'to expand the quantity and quality of the marines', if the Navy gets big enough to the point where it starts to escape our control, we'll have no choice but to bother Master Imm." Warcury commented with a grave expression.

"Sigh… I can't believe I was starting to forget how troublesome these guys used to be." Jaygarcia Saturn said exhaustingly.

"I knew it, we shouldn't have allowed that monster's son to join the navy." Marcus Mars muttered out loud.

"Don't say that, we thought that we could make good use of him with his potential, and don't act like he hasn't been helpful during these times, otherwise, Rocks would have attacked many other countries under our rule." Warcury corrected.

"So what do we do?"

This is no ordinary threat to their power—it is a direct challenge to the very foundations of the world order they have sworn to uphold.

With a sense of urgency, the Elders confer amongst themselves, their voices hushed as they debate the appropriate course of action.

They know that they must act swiftly and decisively to thwart this insidious plot before it can come to fruition, lest the fragile 'peace' of the world they envisioned and have ruled over for almost 800 years will be shattered.

"One thing I know for certain is that Nature's Family doesn't like conflicts and instability, they like peace and order, and there is no way that that weirdo doesn't know what are the repercussions of his actions."

"Then maybe what they want isn't a conflict, but to slowly even the Plainfield with us in terms of military numbers."

"That makes sense, without the navy in the picture, it will be Us vs Them alone, and whatever secret they must be hiding in the Triangle."

"I propose, replacing Hercule as the leader and teacher of the Academy with someone else that is loyal to the Navy, I like this expansion idea, we can even use it against them."

"I see what you mean, but the Navy probably wouldn't allow Hercule to be stripped of his idea without him having a part in it, remember we need to have a better image with them."

"Make him the assistant or something them, or a position that can minimize his impact on the recruits."

"Alright, but we should stall this issue for now, after we deal with the Rocks Pirates, we can implement the academy."

"For Justice, For Order!" "For Justice, For Order!" "For Justice, For Order!" "For Justice, For Order!" "For Justice, For Order!"
