"Hey Monta, make sure our course is right. And don't forget to make sure he clean the deck." Dante entered his rooms and closed the door.

"Sure. Hehe I don't have to clean the ship anymore." Monta laughed happily.

Laying on the deck was Daiki. He breathed heavily.

"Monster. This guy is a monster. Fight? Is that even a fight?" Monta was sucking a deep breath remembering what he just faced.

A few hours before.

"You can work for me for a few months. I will deduct 3,000 berry per day. This will include your food and daily necessity" Dante asked with smile.

"Sorry. I'm not interested. I am free man. Getting stuck in a merchant ship for more than one years? I really can't." Daiki refused.

" Heh, you can't pay for your food. Now I am giving a job for you to pay it of and you have audacity to refuse? You really think I can accept that? You know what? Discussion is over. You will accept my offer." Dante walked slowly to him with grinning face.

"Using force? I am not an easy person either. Let's make a bet. If I win this fight. You will let go of my debt." Monta offered a bet.

"And if you lose, your debt will be doubled and you will work for me to settle your bill." Dante said as he move forward.

"Sure." Monta agreed.

"That's good. You will not take back what you just said." Dante smiled.

Then he turned towards Monta and said, "Beat him down, you will get half."

"I don't get all?" Monta frowned.

"Then who's going to pay for his food?" Dante smiled.

"Sigh, so be it. Half is also good." Monta said as he turned to Daiki.

"You heard him. I'm your opponent." Monta spoke to Daiki.

Hearing Monta words, Daiki moved to attack him.

Daiki immediately threw a punch as soon as he met.

Seeing the coming punch, Monta didn't evade but also threw a punch.

The punches collided, Monta could already roughly gauge Daiki's strength and defend against his strikes.

After a lots of attacks, Daiki felt stressed by what was happening. This merchant's subordinate in front of him was surely strong person.

Although he had given his best, the fight still didn't turn to his favor. One should know, he was the best brawler in his past ship.

He slowly felt the man in front of him just playing around with him. He mostly block and counter him from time to time.

"That's all you got? Then it's my turn." Monta said.

Then he sped up and attacked Daiki with his knee.

Daiki didn't have time to respond and got a solid hit in the stomach. The extreme pain shocked him to almost puke.

Daiki tried to step back but his wrist suddenly got hold. He was pulled toward Monta and a punch greeted him

After a few minutes, Daiki was sent flying by Monta.

As he landed on the deck, coughed up some bloods and raised to continue his fight.

"Hoh? Still not giving up?" Monta move forward for another round of attacked.

"???" Dante saw the fight and felt something was different for this second round of attacks.

All Monta's attacks were received better than before as Daiki started to gain posture back.

"Now. It's my turn." Daiki dashed towards Monta and sent a punch to him.

Blocking the punched, Monta felt that the power stronger than his previous attacks. On the other side, Dante squinted his eyes seeing Monta's reaction.

"Not that easy." blocking the punch, Monta countered with a swing of punch and sent Daiki flying again.

Once again, Daiki was back on his feet and went for another round of attack.

"Again?" Blocking another blow from Daiki, Monta frowned as he once again felt the abnormal increasement of power come to previous attack.

"Ohh. How interesting. I surely want you on my ship now." Dante grinned as he saw Monta sent Daiki flying again. Not only that Daiki kept on raising on his foot and attacking.

After a few more rounds of attacks, Monta felt Daiki finally was at his limits. The power didn't even increase anymore after he raised again and again.

Not wanting to continue the fight any longer, Monta attacked rapidly without sending him flying. After receiving multiple attacks, Daiki went unconscious.

Daiki didn't take long before he woke up.

"I guess I have won the bet right?" Dante squatted in front of Monta and asked.

Sighing, Daiki nodded admitting his defeat.

"Good, from now on you will be in charge of handling this ship. Currently we are going to the Bokka. I had set the compass and everything on the navigation room. As a former pirate, I expect you, at least to know one or two about sailing. This guy over here doesn't know a thing." Dante said as he pointed towards Monta.

"Oh, I have decided to give you better contract. We will discuss the exact terms later." Dante continued as he passed some medicine to Daiki.

"Okay. I'll be going to rest. Do a good job will you?" Dante patted on Daiki body and walked to his room.

Daiki looked at Dante's room. Then he looked at Monta who was sleeping on the deck.

"No wonder they are brave enough to sail with just two of them on this big ship. This guy is definitely a beast. I wonder if the boss has that same strength." Monta spoke alone.

He looked at his body and realised that he was already started to heal.

"This medicine is so good?" Monta also looked at the medicine in his hand.

Dante went to his table and draft a contract paper for Daiki. As he finished with the terms and the contracts, he went into sleep.

After sometime, his ship was suddenly shaking as if it was hit by something which woke Dante from his sleep.

"Dammit, what is going on?" Dante raised from his bed and walked out of his room.

"Monta, what's going on?" Dante asked as he saw Monta was busy arguing with Daiki in navigation room.

"Pirate. A pirate ship is coming and this guy wants to run away." Monta shouted as he was pointing towards Daiki.

"Why would we ran away? This is our chance. They might have come to trade. Stop the ship." Dante suddenly became happy.

"Humph. I told you." Monta smirked.

"Are you crazy? They are pirate. They obviously come to rob us. Who shoot canons if they are really coming to trade!" Daiki was shocked by Dante and Monta. This boss and his subordinate really didn't know to differentiate the situation. To them anyone can be their customers.

"Hahaha. Don't worry too much. If they are looking for trouble, I'll teach them a lesson." Dante said with smile.

"Dammit. Do you know who are chasing us right now? They are Black Boar pirate. Their Captain, Black Boar Gummy has 12million berry bounty for his head. He got more than 100 crewmen on his ship." Daiki shouted.

"Really? 12 million berry? Than, he is a big customer. That's it. I ordered you to stop the ship now!" Dante ordered with shining eyes.

"Yeah." Monta added as he pushed Daiki away.

"F***." Daiki felt like he was going crazy as he stopped the ship. This merchant boss and his subordinate definitely had a screw lose somewhere.
