Chapter 25: Little Garden II

When Kai finally arrived back at the site where the crew was he could see that Luffy and Usopp won their fights. They were talking to both giants right now as Dorry had ended up surviving due to the fact that both Dorry and Brogy's weapons were dulled from a century's worth of fighting.

Kai decided to leave and went to go find Sanji. He walked into a cabin and stepped over the bodies of Mr.13 and Miss Friday that Sanji had killed.

(A/n: In this novel the straw hats will kill. Not for fun or anything but they won't be afraid of doing it. That's the way the one piece world is. Deal with it.)

*brrring* *brrring* a den den mushi started ringing in the corner of the room. Sanji lit a cigarette and went to go answer it. Putting a finger over his mouth to shush Kai, who had just walked in and was looking through the place. Kai nodded and Sanji answered the den den mushi.

"Hello, this is Mr. 3. Who's speaking?" Sanji said to the person on the other end. "Mr. 0. Did you deal with the problem?" Crocodile on the other end asked. "Yes. The straw hat pirates have all been disposed of…" Sanji looked over and read a sign that Kai was holding up and pointing to the text on. "And we have killed the two giants on the island as well. Unfortunately Mr. 5 has perished during the mission." Kai gave him a thumbs up.

In the rain base, Crocodile and Robin were listening to the news together. Robin frowned when she heard the news. The Straw Hats died? They couldn't have, right? Maybe it's a lie. That masked man was too strong too lose to the people sent on that mission and there is no way that he would let the Straw Hats die. They would have had to take him down first. "Did you use some kind of trick on them?" Robin asked in a concerned voice.

Crocodile looked at her weirdly and Robin almost gasped at her own words. Why was it such a big deal if they died? She had only met them briefly and had only known Fujin for a day. This was very out of character for her, but it didn't feel wrong. Crocodile just thought that Robin was concerned that Mr. 3 was lying and brushed it off.

Back on Little Garden Kai had a huge grin on his face. Not that Sanji could see. He was a little surprised Robin would ask that question. She seemed concerned for them. Sanji was about to answer the question when Kai took the phone from him. "I helped them out. I'm the marine chasing the Straw Hats and your friends were a big help in killing off those Straw Hats! Plus all I had to do was let them kill the stupid giants fighting in order to get there help. I'd love to thank you in person, but I need to tell my boss Smoker that the Straw Hats are dead."

Crocodile and Robin were shocked hearing the voice, but for different reasons. Crocodile was shocked because this was supposed to be a private meeting. He was thinking that he should kill Mr. 3 for this, but then remembered he already ordered his assassination. Robin however, was surprised to hear Kai's voice. She giggled a bit. A genuine smile appeared on her face when she heard Kai's voice. She was glad that he was ok.

Kai heard her giggle and a slightly warm feeling filled his chest and he currently had butterflies in his stomach. He was a bit nervous, but it felt good. "Waha. Were you worried about me All-Sunday-chan? Don't worry, I beat the bad guys without breaking a sweat. Unless you think it would be cooler if I was sweating. In that case it was a difficult and tiresome battle but I came out on top!"

"Nishishi. Good for you Fujin-san. I think that it would be cooler if you ripped the Straw Hats bodies to pieces and fed them to the fish."

"Wahaha! It shall be as you wish my lady, anything for you." Kai replied and Robin felt a new emotion welling up within her at his words. She kind of liked this, but she wasn't too sure why. As she was thinking about Kai and his words a very slight blush appeared on her cheeks and she got slight butterflies, but it was too small for Crocodile to notice.

"What are you saying to my assistant!? You damn marine." Crocodile had a slight outburst at Kai. Who just responded. "Jheez, don't be so uptight Mr. 0, can I call you Mr. 0? Anyway Mr. Croc I know you're new to this and all, but when a man sees a girl they find cute sometimes they do this thing called flirting. I can teach you if you want."

Crocodile froze, this marine knew his name and more importantly he just said that he was new to being a man. "What did you mean by that?" He asked. "Flirting? Oh it's when you…" Kai was cut off by Crocodile. "The other thing!" Kai was smiling right now and said. "Hey Miss All-Sunday-chan! Wanna hear a story? It's about a man, at least I think he's a man, whose name is Ivankov and a young little crocodile. So the story goes *click*" Crocodile hung up the den den mushi and smashed the table in front of him. Robin was shocked at this and was intrigued by this story now.

Sanji was looking at Kai with mixed emotions. On one hand, he respected Kai for flirting with a girl while on the phone with a warlord. On the other hand, he hated Kai for flirting with a girl in front of him. Kai looked at Sanji and pointed to the eternal pose to Alabasta in Sanji's hands.

"You did good love cook. Colour me impressed." Sanji heard this and didn't understand the reference to Miss Goldenweek's ability, but he did decide to let the matter from before go. He looked at Kai and said, "Thanks Mask man. But you better not go around flirting after you meet a good girl. If you cheat I'd kill you myself."

Kai was a bit shocked at this and asked. "Oh yeah? And where'd you learn that?" Sanji smiled at this and replied. "My brother and father (Zeff). The two best men I know. They are my role models." Kai just nodded and said. "I see." While he turned away.

Sanji was confused and wondered if he pissed Kai off. The latter was walking away to hide the warm tears in his eyes. It's not everyday your younger brother calls you a role model after all and Kai was really happy to hear it.

After a minute Kai turned back and asked. "You wanna hear that story I was talking about earlier?" Sanji nodded as he was curious. Kai told him the story and Sanji started rolling on the floor laughing at Crocodile. "Don't tell the rest of the crew love cook. I wanna tell them myself later." Sanji got up and wiped his eyes. He nodded at Kai before chuckling again. Then the duo walked towards the boat.

They arrived a little while later and Sanji had a huge dinosaur with him. When they finally got back to the boat Sanji looked at the crew before his gaze turned towards a dinosaur that Zoro was sitting on. "Heh." Was all he said as he dropped his own right beside it showing that it was at least 1.5x the size. A tick mark appeared on Zoro's head as he yelled. "You're just lucky you didn't get stuck in a massive wax sculpture shit cook! I would have won if I wasn't stuck the whole day!" Sanji charged at him and they bumped heads. "Whose fault is that mosshead? It's not like I trapped you in wax myself! Besides it's not like I was doing nothing either!"

"Amatures." A voice was heard from above both of them and they turned their necks upwards to look at it, yelling ""What was that, punk!"" Kai was sitting on a dinosaur that was twice the size of Sanji's facing the other way with a mug of beer in his hand and a hood on. He turned around so you could see his face within his hood. "Amatures!" Kai yelled at the two who both were stunned at the size of his catch.

After that they loaded all the food onto the Merry and didn't know where to go. Until Sanji ran up to Vivi with hearts in his eyes. "Vivi-channn! Look what I found!" He showed her the eternal pose to Alabasta and her eyes widened in shock. "This is an eternal pose to Alabasta! This is exactly what we needed! Thank you Sanji!" She said as she hugged Sanji. He fainted as his nose started to shoot out blood. "Vivi-chan hugged me. Vivi-chan hugged me." He kept repeating in his sleep.

Nami slapped him awake with demon teeth. "It was just a hug you moron!" Kai smiled and said. "Someone's jealous." Before Nami punched him across the ship. He crashed into Luffy sitting on the head of the mast and Luffy got up to punch Kai. Only to miss and hit Zoro's gourd causing it to spill. Zoro slashed out at Luffy only to miss and cut Sanji's cigarette in half.

All of a sudden everyone was in a dust brawl and trying to kill each other and Nami and Vivi were on the side watching and sighed together. They walked up to the helm of the ship to get ready to navigate to Alabasta.

Soon the dust brawl cleared up only to reveal Sanji and Luffy with bumps on their head and Kai without even a scratch. "How does he do that?!!?" They both yelled looking at Kai come out unscathed. Kai just said nothing and looked around. Two minutes later he asked. "Where the fuck did mosshead go?" Everyone on the crew looked around and couldn't find Zoro.

Just as they were about to give up the giants appeared and said hello to them. They thanked the straw hats for the help and gave them a gift. It was Zoro with his head sticking out of a barrel. "Where did all of you guys go? How can all three of you get lost in a dust brawl?" Everyone on the ship face planted and yelled at Zoro. "YOU'RE THE ONE WHO GOT LOST!"

Zoro just shook his head. "I didn't get lost." Everyone stopped arguing with him. He was a lost cause. Just then the Giants told them about the island eater and told them to leave it to them.

The crew set off on the waters and when the island eater appeared Dorry and Brogy threw their weapons at it in order to kill it. The crew sailed off into the sunset ready for new adventures.
