Chapter 204: Cheering Up Trenza?

Seeing Freyja enjoy the limelight and praises of the crowd, I folded my arms and scoffed before looking away. I really didn't care that much about who the most beautiful woman in the world was; it was rather pointless from my perspective. Sure, Freyja and Hancock were incredibly sexy and beautiful, respectively, but it meant nothing if someone could just easily take their lives, and now, neither of them is most beautiful since they're dead.

'Instead of this stupid, most beautiful woman in the world, we should've done the strongest person in the world. Hehe, now that would've been an amazing sight, the gathering of incredibly strong people from all over the world; I don't think I could think of something more amazing than that. It's making my heart pound in excitement!' Thought Diddy with a bored look as he glanced between Freyja and Hancock before suddenly sporting a feral grin that turned more ferocious by the second.

"Hehe, what a wonderful idea; maybe I'll do that someday. Diddy D. Kong, Strongest Man in the World, heh, I quite like the sound of that. NO! Strongest Creature in the World, that's a much better title." Declared Diddy with a massive, bloodthirsty grin as his heart beat rapidly in exhilaration, not even realizing he was already vying for the title held by an Emperor of the sea.

"Hmm, what did you say, Captain?" Asked Sebas curiously as he approached Diddy while brushing his hair back, causing Diddy to compose himself and shake his head.

"Heh, nothing, just thinking about future competitions, that's all." Replied Diddy lightly as he glanced at Sebas before looking up at the full moon while grinning, a silver glint passing through his eyes.

"Captain, are you about to transform?" Asked Sebas warily with a slight frown as he stopped walking in preparation, only for Diddy to chuckle while shaking his head.

"Hehe, no. I can look at the moon without transforming now; I've got it under control. I must say, the moon is very beautiful; until now, I've never been able to appreciate it properly." Stated Diddy with a faint chuckle as he leaned back in his chair while appreciating the glowing moon, feeling a mighty yet wild power coursing through his veins, though, thanks to finishing his technique, he could keep it at bay.

"Haa, that's good to know; you made me nervous, Captain. However, yes, the moon is lovely." Said Sebas with a sigh of relief as he straightened his suit before standing beside Diddy and looking up at the moon, nodding in agreement while Diddy chuckled in amusement.

"So, what did you think of the contest? Freyja, Trenza, and Ms. Hancock were quite stunning the whole time, no?" Questioned Sebas curiously as he glanced down at Diddy, who scoffed before clicking his tongue and nodding.

"Freyja and Hancock were very beautiful, but Trenza looked like an ugly ducking next to them, though I do find her eyes gorgeous, so I gave her a three every round." Remarked Diddy in slight annoyance as he looked down at the crowd, spotting Trenza sitting alone while Mony attempted to cheer her up.

"Hoho, so harsh; I believe my daughter deserves more than a meager three; she is charming, though I suppose that is the bias of a father a play." Stated Sebas with a chuckle as he shook his head and looked at Trenza in the distance, only to nod in understanding.

"Hmph, she was lucky she even got a three; I would've given her a two if it were before our trip to Skypiea." Said Diddy ruthlessly as he watched Mony take Trenza back to the ship before standing up and stretching while Sebas sighed.

"Anyways, I'm returning to the ship to train." Added Diddy as he leaped into the air, causing Nimbus to suddenly appear beneath his feet, flying him to the ship.

Landing on the ship, I glanced up at the crow's nest where Trenza was before shrugging my shoulders and heading toward my hammock and grabbing my bo-staff, only to turn around and prepare to head into the ocean to train, maybe fight some sea kings as well; however, before I did, I glanced one more time at the crow's nest, and after staring at it for some time. I don't know what had come over me, but the next thing I knew, I was climbing up the side of the mast by digging my nails into the wood.

'Tsk, what am I even doing?' Thought Diddy in confusion as he stood on the edge of the crow's nest while looking at Trenza, who was quietly sulking to herself.

I had no idea what possessed me to come up here and check upon Trenza, but after looking at her for some time, I turned around and prepared to leap into the sea, yet just as I did, Trenza had called my name, seemingly knowing I was there the entire time.

"What are you doing, Captain? Did you come to check on me and try to cheer me up for losing?" Asked Trenza curiously with a small smile as she turned and glanced at Diddy, who froze at her words before looking at her while scoffing.

"Hmph, no, I merely came to view the surrounding waters; I could care less about you losing; after all, you were never going to win in the first place; you should've known." Remarked Diddy with a scoff as he leaped into the crow's nest, holstering Naga-sa onto his back while leaning against the mast, his words causing Trenza to chuckle softly.

"Hehe, sure, if you say so, my tsundere Captain." Replied Trenza with a teasing smirk, causing Diddy to growl at her, yet it seemed to hardly garner a reaction out of her.

"Though yes, I knew I was going to lose, and I never believed I would win; I just wanted to see how I compare to the supposed two most beautiful women in the world. I'm hardly sad at losing; I'm just a little disappointed that I'm not even considered 20% as beautiful as them. I've never really been one to take pride in my beauty. I have excellent marksman skills for that, but at the end of the day, I am a woman and would like to be considered beautiful. After all, who wouldn't? Well, it would be handsome in your case since you're a man, but same thing." Declared Trenza lightly as she leaned against the mast, looking up at the bright, full moon and pointing Sunaipu at it, only to sigh and lower her weapon.

"That doesn't apply to me, as I'm already rather handsome for a Mink." Said Diddy lightly, causing Trenza to look skeptically at him.

"Eh, I mean, you're far from ugly in my opinion, but I wouldn't quite call you handsome; also, how do you know you're handsome by Mink standards? The only Mink you've met was Lindbergh, and I don't think he swung that way, or maybe he did; I don't know, I wasn't the one who fought him." Remarked Trenza as she observed Diddy's face before shaking her head and suspiciously eyeing him, causing him to snort in annoyance.

"Of course you wouldn't. I'm a Mink, and you're a human. And no, Lindbergh didn't swing that way. I think. As for how I know I'm handsome by Mink standards? It's simple: instincts." Declared Diddy with a frown as he glanced at Trenza before subtly shivering in disgust only to confidently grin, causing her to stare blankly at him.

"Haa, well, your instincts have never led us astray, so I can't refute you. Though I am curious, you talk about fighting all the time and getting stronger, but have you ever thought about possibly finding love?" Said Trenza with a sigh and a shrug of her shoulders before shaking her head and looking up at the sky with a pondering expression.

"Love? I've already found love. My love for battle and my growing strength; that's what I love. And if you're referring to emotional love, I already love myself." Stated Diddy lightly with a raised eyebrow before shaking his head, only to clench his fist with a feral expression while looking at the moon while Trenza grabbed her forehead and sighed.

"Haa, that's not exactly what I meant by love, though never mind, I was stupid for bringing this topic up with you, of all people, in the first place." Remarked Trenza with a shake of her head, sighing in regret while Diddy scoffed.

"Tsk, I know what you meant, you three-eyed virgin; I've got no desire for love. That stupid shit gets in the way, I only need a woman to satisfy my lust whenever I'm feeling horny, and that's it; even then, I don't need it; my hand's been doing fine for the past few years." Said Diddy in slight annoyance as he glanced at Trenza before shaking his head and looking down at his hand while she sported an unsightly expression.

"I didn't need to know all of that, but okay. Though if you only want a woman to satisfy your lust, Freyja is there; I'm sure she'd be happy to." Said Trenza with an awkward expression as she slightly distanced herself from Diddy, who sported an ugly expression.

"I'm not interested in using a public toilet when I can easily find one in pristine condition; I'm not trying to die a pathetic death from sexually transmitted diseases or whatnot." Remarked Diddy as he pushed off the mast before suddenly leaping over the crow's nest and into the sea below.

"Besides, being a virgin isn't bad; I'm still one, after all." Added Diddy on his way down, his words slightly surprising Trenza as she quickly stood up and looked over the edge, only for his figure to swiftly disappear underwater.

"Eh, I didn't know you were also a virgin, Captain."
