**Behemoth Island in the East Blue Sea**

Behemoth Island is a magical place, evident by its abundant resources, exceptionally fertile soil, and vast area.

Despite its allure, both the Navy's nautical charts and those circulated in the market deem this place off-limits.

No ethnic group or settlement can be found on this 80,000-square-kilometer mega-island.

The channels are remote, the shores are lined with reefs and whirlpools, and most significantly, this land is inhabited by countless powerful behemoths.

It is an island of extreme chaos and peril, where survival requires more than average skills due to the hostile climate and relentless beasts.

The isolation of the waterways, the transportation challenges, and the surrounding reefs and whirlpools have made developing Behemoth Island highly costly.

No organization has been willing to invest in its development, resulting in its abandonment over time.

However, the unusually sunny weather at noon today brought a rare opportunity. A teenager named Kira arrived on Behemoth Island aboard a small sailboat.

Kira had set off to sea half a month ago, with less than two months remaining until the public execution of One Piece Roger.

Kira's decision to land on Behemoth Island was not arbitrary. He intentionally chose this destination to find suitable materials and train several corps commanders.

If luck was on his side, he might discover a valuable Devil Fruit or come across exceptionally powerful behemoths, which could lead to the cultivation of the first King's Guard.

To his surprise, as soon as Kira landed, Behemoth Island presented him with a significant surprise.

A towering pterodactyl, standing five meters tall with a wingspan of over twenty meters, tilted its head and stared at Kira.

It seemed to be pondering how this small creature might taste, contemplating whether it would make a flavorful meal.

Kira found this expression, reminiscent of being regarded as food, displeasing. He moved with incredible speed, transforming into a blur. In an instant, Kira leaped into the air and landed a powerful punch on the pterosaur's head, channeling his full strength.

However, the expected outcome did not occur. The pterosaur simply tilted its head, seemingly unfazed by Kira's punch, as if it were merely being toyed with. In a sudden motion, it snatched Kira with unexpected speed and precision, surpassing his assumptions. There was very little room for resistance, and Kira was pressed directly into the mud and sand on the seashore by the pterosaur.

It wasn't very painful, but it was extremely insulting.

Kira's expression when he was pressed on the beach by the pterosaur was one of confusion, wondering what had just happened.

Kira only remembered that his punch had landed right on the pterosaur's head, and then he felt an incredibly powerful force. After his vision became blurred, he found himself lying on the beach.

In addition to that, there was a paw pressing against his body.

Yes, Kira might be useless in his ant-king form, but even if he wasn't in that form, he shouldn't have been easily crushed by a slightly larger pterosaur.

Kira understood that even if he used the Ant King form, he would still be stronger than this pterosaur, but his strength had limits.

The outcome of the battle was uncertain, its length was uncertain, and Kira didn't know much about the environment of Behemoth Island. Additionally, he wasn't sure where this pterosaur stood in the island's food chain. Acting impulsively would likely do more harm than good to himself.

So, for the time being, Kira decided to leave.

At the same time, Kira couldn't help but feel horrified by Behemoth Island. This was only the first behemoth he had encountered, and he had nearly been defeated here.

In his heart, Kira thought to himself that he had arrived just in time. Otherwise, even if he were to defeat this Red Wing Dragon cub, he feared he would be torn apart by the other Red Wing Dragons, who stood over ten meters tall, once he exhausted his strength.

"This is indeed a high-level red pterosaur. The one I encountered earlier seems to hold a high rank within the group."

"Not only that, its potential seems to surpass that of ordinary pterosaurs. Despite its small size, its aura is much stronger than that of those bigger creatures."

"But the more I think about it, the more excited I become. If I can find a high-ranking giant beast here, I might have a chance at cultivating formidable guards."

Kira's eyes gleamed with excitement. He carefully retreated into the forest without making a sound.

While developing Behemoth Island may be a challenging endeavor for others, for Kira, it is...

A natural hunting ground! The chimeric ants' racial talent and the ant king's ability require ample food and battles.
