He wouldn't hurt a girl

"You make yourself look cruel by constantly threatening to kill people. But I know you have a good heart. You made sure the fall wouldn't kill Chernming." Fahsai acknowledged.

"I just wanted to scare him to death so he'd quit messing with Boss." Chern Piu said.

"It's great that Daniel has loyal people by his side." Fahsai noted.

"It'll not be compared to what the boss and his family has done for me." He said as he flashed back to his younger years and the foursome - Daniel, Botan, Chernming and Piu congregated to play guitar and sing together.

It turned out that Chernming and Chern Piu were cousins. But Piu's Dad was upset that Chernming's Dad wanted him to step down as the leader and give him his position. But Piu's Dad thought his son was the strongest candidate. That took Daniel-Piu-Chernming relationship to another level. Piu's Dad swore to never concede to that.

That night as Piu played the guitar, his household was getting bullied by Chernming's Dad and big bro, Xiao Yao. The two were so cruel that they gunned down Piu's mom. Piu rushed to the living room in shock to see Xiao Yao sneering after shooting.

"I WILL KILL YOU!!" Piu screamed as Xiao's gang members held him down.

"Would you step down or watch your only son die in front of you?" Chernming's Dad questioned Piu's Dad.

When he refused, they lighted him with fire and Piu watched his Dad get burned to death. He got up to shoot randomly at everyone.

He later found himself by a bridge and prepared to hold a gun to his head. But Daniel came to see him.

"Dying won't fix anything." Daniel told him. He only saw the latter as a relative by default since Piu was related to Chernming.

"They're not my kin!" Piu spat.

"You want to die because of them? After they killed your whole family?" Daniel questioned him.

"I have nothing left." He said.

"No, that's not true." Daniel begged to differ.

"You still have yourself. I believe your parents wouldn't want you to meet the same fate. They want you to live in their stead."

Piu softened by his words and cried. He lowered his gun and let the stinging tears deluge down his clothing. Daniel welcomed him to Gang Mungkorn Thong and he became his right hand man with two tattoos.

"The Boss didn't want me to remove the tiger tattoo, because he wants it to serve as a reminder of where I came from." Chern Piu told Fahsai in the present time."

"No wonder you have two tattoos." Fahsai said and Piu glared at her as if questioning HOW DO YOU KNOW?

"Fai told me about it." Fahsai admitted.

"The gangs don't have secrets with each other, because they are no secrets in this world. Keep that in mind." He warned her since he knew she worked with Chernming.

"It must be a misunderstanding, you shouldn't make hasty accusations." Fahsai panicked.

"I don't accuse people without evidence." He said as he handed over a phone which showed a recording of her talk with Chernming in the hospital.

"He has been following me." Fahsai gulped.

"I have been on his trail. I can't imagine I'm seeing you agreeing to betray the boss." Piu relented.

"My Dad was dying and I needed help." Fahsai's tears were now falling.

"There's always a way out. It lies in whether you look for it or allow your judgement to be clouded." Piu said. "I won't tell on you because I guarantee you that you'll never find the black book." He added.

As a partying word, Piu said, If the Boss wants to kill Chernming, there's no way Chernming would have survived till this day."

Fahsai was meant to understand that everything Daniel did, was intended to help Chernming.

Daniel on the other hand, walked by the sleeping Chernming, he took out a gun. And it so happened that Chernming woke up in time to see Daniel holding his gun and immediately mistakened Daniel for trying to kill him.

"You!" Chernming pounced on Daniel and the two fought and Chernming got hold of the gun and pulled the trigger. But there were no bullets.

Everyone rushed into the room to see Chernming pulling the trigger. Daniel held one hand up and said, "A dangerous man like Chernming shouldn't be next to dangerous things - held up the bullets.

The two got into another fistfight until Fahsai got in between them.

"What's wrong with the both of you! Knock it off, will you?" Fahsai yelled at them.

Desperate, Chernming used Fahsai as a shield so he could get away.

"There's no need for that, you can go home safely." Daniel told him.

"I stopped believing your words from the day you killed my Dad."

They followed him out and it was a tense moment until Fahsai decided to save the day.

"Put your guns away, I'll go with him." Fahsai bargained.

"Why aren't we doing anything to save Fahsai?" Nuch, wondered.

"I know him well, he wouldn't dare hurt a girl." Daniel said.

"We shouldn't cheer him on if he's just a wimp." Fai inclined.

"Go inside and enjoy your snacks, it's the best thing you can do to help Fahsai." He said calmly as a clam.

But of course he was right, Chernming instructed his men to take Fahsai home now that he was safe. She decided not to go and made some food for Chernming. She knew he wouldn't hurt her, after all, they were working together. But it was pretty pathetic that he would still use her as shield.

"Where's the black book?" He asked her as she brought him food.

"There might be more to the issue between you two than you know. Daniel does really care about you." She explained her recent findings to him and she just sounded like she was worried about him and it was getting to him, or he was just trying to win over Daniel again. But Chernming held her by the back of her head and pulled her close...for a KISS? Did they kiss?
