Tough love

Daniel visited Fahsai's parents at the house and watched them flirt with each other. He couldn't not help but give Fahsai a smitten smile.

"Aehhm! Sorry for showing up unannounced." Dr. Eit barged in, interrupting their moment.

"We're quite used to your lack of announcements." Fahsai's Dad said. "Oh, my bad, this is a former neighbor." He introduced Eit to Daniel without remorse, because saying he was the future son-in-law to a hospital chairman would be sarcastic. Such an introduction made Dr. Eit squirm.

Big Sis Fai was totally immersed in Chern Piu's profile and fangled over him as she watched him from her office that night. But she plastered on an indifferent face when he caught her looking at him. And she finally came down.

"Let him you with those." He gruffly helped her with her bags and she shyly smiled at him.

On their way to get condo, she blasted music in his car and he immediately shut it off.

"You're so boring!" She scorned.

"I don't like music." He lamented.

"You know what, I read somewhere that it's beneficial to listen to music during traffic, it de-stresses you." Fai defended her idea about music.

"Music makes me sad." He said.

"Mm....hmmm..." She was defiant though and started to hum to the tune of her own music all the way to her place.

"Thank you....argh!!" She could merely thank him for dropping her as he sped off immediately after making sure she was home.

Then Nuth's car showed up as planned and the two decided to tail after his car.

Meanwhile at Fahsai's, things were getting awkward as Dr. Eit was regarded as a total stranger after hurting Fahsai's feelings.

"I'm going to bed but before that, grab your plate on your way out. I think it's getting late, as a doctor, you should probably have a busy schedule tomorrow." Fahsai's Dad suggested to Dr. Eit, indicating that he should head out too. He had no patience for people like him after hurting his daughter.

"You're quite a charm, being so young and all." He said while smiling to Fahsai.

"Dad? He's my Boss and he wouldn't think anything of me." Fahsai was quick to dismiss his father's thought.

"Honey, you didn't even bring his name up. I can tell that he likes you and I can also tell that you like him too." Her Dad said and she hanged her head, unable to rebuke.

"I do like him but I won't allow myself to love him too much." She admitted. "I have to get to know him better."

On his way out, Dr. Eit was interested in Daniel and so he drew closer to him.

"You must be new around here and since you're only a shareholder at the magazine firm, it's no wonder Fah has never mentioned your name before."

"Is it that you have never heard my name or just never got the chance to talk to Fahsai?" Daniel asked.

"I've talked to her many times, in fact, the other day I dropped her off at work." Dr. Eit boasted.

"So you must be the reason why the hospital pulled out from the magazine." Daniel surmised.

"Are you accusing me right now?" Dr. Eit relented.

"Don't take it the wrong way, thanks to you, I met Fahsai."

"Do you like her?" Dr. Eit questioned the latter.

"Keep this between us. Oh, don't forget your plate, in case her father learns that you're still here. Who knows? He might get even more mad." Daniel reminded him.

Meanwhile, Fai and Nuth spy.

"I wonder what's he up to?" Nuth said.

The latter was standing in the middle of the street with a baseball bat. A motorcycle sped towards him, and two men pulled on a rope which knocked down the motorcyclist.

"Gosh! It's Chernming!" The girls screamed

Piu walked up to the man and beat him with the bat, knocking him out of cold. Nuth and Fai screamed in fright and Nuth immediately texted Fahsai that right hand man was about to kill Chernming.

But Daniel happened to sit by her phone and saw the text message.

"Are you stalking my phone?" Fahsai asked annoyingly.

"Where do those friends of yours live?" He asked.

"And may I ask why?"

"Stop asking too many questions and give me their location." He irked his brows irritatingly.

Shirtless and furious, Piu beat Chernming who kept on laughing.

"So, is this your best? Did he send you to beat me up?" Chernming scoffed.

"I wish he did, so that I could punish the dog who double crossed us." He growled as the latter kept on laughing and this earned him another punch on his face.

"Go on laughing but soon you'll realize hell is real." Chern Piu said.

"Should we call Officer Thep?" Nuth wondered.

"It'll only make matters worse." Fai reasoned.

They then spot Daniel and Fahsai arriving. Daniel peered at Piu and Chernming right at the edge of the construction building. He shook his head at Piu, sending a telepathic message not to push Chernming over the edge. But he let go....and Chernming's body hit the ground with a thud. Daniel was devastated and decided to punish Chern Piu once they were back in his mansion.

"You're a bunch of idiots! I'm so disappointed in you!" He scolded his men and smacked Piu across the face and his hand print left its mark.

"I'm sorry but I can't sit down and watch Chernming to do all the damage to you." The apologetic Piu retorted.

"You must withstand it and think of the bigger picture. Being a water that puts out a fire isn't dishonorable. You can't just let all that anger and hatred inside you to overshadow your honor and make you forget what's right and wrong." Daniel said. "What's the point when you lose all of your honor?" He asked him.

At that point, Daniel took his tough love to another level, but that's why he was such a great leader. Fahsai watched him from the balcony.

"I'm sorry..." Fahsai apologized to Piu upon seeing him later. "I'm the cause of the discord between you and Daniel."

"If I hadn't done it for the boss's best interest, he'd killed her already." He said.
