In the dim light of early morning, Sunny gasped awake, his heart racing from a vague nightmare that lingered like a haunting echo. He glanced around, finding Kel still peacefully asleep nearby. However, his attention was drawn to Basil, who was standing by the open bedroom door, his breath heavy with a mix of fear and frustration.
"Morning, early, Basil?" Sunny's voice carried a note of concern as he approached, noticing Basil's trembling hands hidden within his gardening gloves.
Basil turned towards Sunny, his eyes reflecting a mixture of disbelief and anguish. "Sunny!!! Someone managed to sneak into my house and steal the Photo Album!!!!"
The weight of Basil's words hung in the air, a sudden intrusion of reality disrupting the quiet morning. Sunny's mind raced with questions and worries, the stolen album a symbol of cherished memories now threatened by an unknown intruder.
Sunny blinked, a knot of worry forming in his stomach as Basil's distress became palpable. He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself despite the rising panic that echoed memories from his headspace adventures as Omori.
"Alright, Basil, tell me everything," Sunny said, his voice steady but tinged with concern. He gently patted Basil's shoulders, a silent reassurance that they would figure things out together. "When did you first notice the album missing? Are you absolutely sure it's gone? And you still have another set of the hidden photos of Mari, right?"
His questions were aimed at gathering information, trying to understand the situation more clearly while also ensuring that their precious memories of Mari were safeguarded, at least in some form.
Basil took a deep breath, trying to compose himself as he nodded in response to Sunny's questions. "I woke up early this morning to add some new photos to the album," he explained, his voice still shaky with worry. "But when I went to retrieve it from its usual spot, it was gone. I've searched everywhere multiple times, but I can't find it."
His eyes flickered with a mix of frustration and sadness. "Yes, I still have the other set of photos tucked away safely," Basil added, trying to find a silver lining in the situation. "But the album itself, with all our memories... it's just... missing."
Sunny's concern deepened, realizing how important the album was to Basil and the entire group. "We'll find it, Basil," Sunny said with determination, trying to offer reassurance. "We'll search every corner, ask everyone if they've seen anything unusual. We won't give up until we track it down."
Despite his own apprehension and the echoes of his headspace experiences, Sunny remained steadfast in his resolve to help Basil recover the missing album and preserve their memories of Mari.
Then , Basil shifted with a nod before he got worried due to Sunny's tired expression "Hey Sunny, did you have a nightmare? Sorry to vent this out on you—" he blushed when Sunny held his hand with a calm stoic gaze and spoke "I said that I can return the favor for your support and shielding me right? Since I am out might as well take the time I had to make this up."
Basil's eyes softened with gratitude as he squeezed Sunny's hand gently. "Thanks, Sunny. Your support means a lot," he said, a faint smile breaking through his worried expression.
Sunny nodded, his calm demeanor offering a sense of reassurance. "We're a team, Basil. We look out for each other," he replied, his tone filled with sincerity.
As they stood together, a sense of determination filled the air. Despite the unsettling start to the day, they both knew that facing challenges together made them stronger. With renewed resolve, they set out to search for the missing photo album, ready to confront whatever obstacles lay ahead.
Then suddenly they jump, and they both chuckle as a Kel with bed hair now his ponytail is gone that he has long brown hair asks "Yo!!! What's the ruckus early in the morning you guys? Don't let me miss out…"
Sunny and Basil turned to see Kel, his usual energetic self despite just waking up. They exchanged glances, sharing a silent understanding before Sunny spoke up, trying to lighten the mood. "Hey, Kel! Sorry for the commotion. Basil just had a little scare, but everything's under control now."
Basil nodded in agreement, a faint smile returning to his face. "Yeah, it's all good. Just a minor hiccup," he added, trying to downplay the situation.
Kel raised an eyebrow, curiosity evident in his expression. "A scare, huh? Well, if you guys need any help or someone to keep watch, count me in!" he exclaimed eagerly.
Sunny chuckled, appreciating Kel's enthusiasm. "Thanks, Kel. We'll let you know if we need anything. For now, let's start the day fresh," he said, gesturing for them to head downstairs for breakfast and to discuss their plan for finding the missing photo album.
Then Kel smugly nudges Basil "Woah look at that Sunny learns to be the early bird yet.." he noticed something missing "Something really wrong? You know you can tell me right to Basil?" As he said kindly, Sunny smiled softly and quietly listen to Basil's reaction and reply (Kel is right despite their current situation because of me and Mari….They still are close)
Basil glanced at Kel, appreciating his concern. He nodded slowly, a mixture of emotions crossing his face. "Thanks, Kel. It's just that someone took the photo album, and it's got memories we cherish," he explained, his voice tinged with a hint of sadness.
Sunny, sensing Basil's unease, placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. "We'll figure this out, Basil. Together," he reassured, his eyes reflecting determination.
Kel nodded understandingly, his expression serious. "I'm sorry to hear that. If there's anything I can do to help, just say the word," he offered sincerely, showing his support for his friends.
As they set off to start their day, the bond between Sunny, Basil, and Kel grew stronger, united by their shared experiences and determination to overcome challenges together.
As Basil spoke "But first, Breakfast I think Ms.Polly left microwaveable food by my home's fridge shall we eat? And Uhh Kel…fix your hair it's—" Kel questions dumbfounded "What? Fix what with my hair?" As Sunny nudges Kel with a rarest genuine smile he says "Your HAIR is a mess silly!!!!"
Basil chuckled at Kel's confusion and Sunny's playful remark. "Kel, your hair is all over the place. Let's get breakfast and sort that out later," he suggested, leading the way to the kitchen.
Kel laughed sheepishly, running a hand through his unruly hair. "Oh, got it. Thanks for the heads up, Sunny," he said, following Basil and Sunny to the kitchen.
Together, they enjoyed a simple breakfast, sharing stories and laughter as they prepared for the day ahead, their friendship and camaraderie shining through in their lighthearted moments together.
As they prepared breakfast, Sunny asked "So Kel when will Hero return to Faraway town here from his college? At what time? Since you mentioned yesterday today he will return for the summer vacation."
Kel responded cheerfully as he prepared his meal, "Oh, Hero's flight is scheduled to arrive around noon. He'll be back in Faraway Town in time for lunch. I'm excited to catch up with him and hear about his college adventures!"
Basil added, "It'll be nice to have everyone together again for the summer. We can plan some fun activities and make the most of our time together."
Sunny nodded, a sense of anticipation building. "Yeah, it'll be great to have the gang reunited. I wonder what adventures await us this summer."
As they finished breakfast and cleaned up, the anticipation for Hero's return filled the air, promising new adventures and memorable moments for the group.
Basil and Kel chuckle as Sunny awkwardly blushes "Yes it's just after 3 weeks here , when my family needed to leave to the nearest best hospital in the city for her…doesn't mean I can't return here for the rest of the summer…" looks away as they eat and drink together. Kel says wiping his tears of joy "No it's just Sunny, it's nice…seeing you almost being as subtly happy as you used to be.." As Sunny glances at Basil, what is his own opinion of his demeanor?
Basil observed Sunny quietly for a moment before speaking, "I think it's a good sign, Sunny. You've been through a lot, and it's okay to feel a bit of happiness and normalcy again. We're here for you, and we'll make this summer memorable."
Sunny smiled gratefully at Basil's words, feeling a sense of comfort and support from his friends. The prospect of spending the summer together, despite the challenges they faced, brought a glimmer of hope and happiness to Sunny's heart.
Kel cheers with his orange Joe, Basil, and Sunny Lemonade on their drinks. As Kel shouted "To us!!! We shall help Basil bring his Photo Album back!!! Then, Make the 3 weeks with Sunny before moving out awhile. As it's for a better treatment for Mari gets better!!!"
Kel's enthusiastic cheer resonated through the room, filling it with a sense of determination and camaraderie. Basil and Sunny joined in, raising their glasses in agreement.
"To us!" Sunny echoed, his eyes reflecting a newfound determination. "We'll find that Photo Album and make this summer unforgettable, not just for us but for Mari too."
With renewed spirits and a shared resolve, they toasted to their friendship and the adventures that awaited them.
Basil softly spoke, "For Mari too!!!" As they drink and sigh as they laugh a bit before getting ready to clean up their sleeping set up by Basil's house living room. As Kel spoke "How about you Basil? When will your parents or Grandma be back?"
Basil glanced at Kel and Sunny before answering. "My parents should be back in a couple of days. They had to travel for work but promised to return before Hero's arrival. Grandma is staying with relatives for a while, so it's just me here for now."
He paused, a hint of concern in his eyes. "I hope they come back soon. Things have been a bit tense lately."
Sunny and Kel shrug it off and hug Basil once they finish cleaning up and preparing bits of their outfit fix. As Sunny asks "Curious Kel, when did you wanna grow out your hair this long for?" As Kel tied a proper side braided to connect to his main ponytail for his brown hair.
Kel grinned, adjusting his braided hair. "Oh, this? I've been wanting to try out different styles, you know, experiment a bit. Plus, it's summer, so why not go for a change?"
Sunny chuckled. "Looks good on you, Kel. Adds a bit of flair."
Basil smiled, appreciating the camaraderie. "You two always manage to lighten the mood. Thanks for being here."
Kel winked. "Of course, Basil! We're a team, remember? We'll find that album together."
With renewed determination and a sense of unity, the three friends set out to tackle the day's challenges, ready to face whatever came their way.
Kel's wink added a playful tone to the moment. "And without you, Basil, I wouldn't have any idea how Sunny is doing, even when he didn't communicate with us directly. Your updates and check-ins keep us connected!"
Basil nodded appreciatively. "I'm glad I can help bridge that gap. Communication is key, especially when we're dealing with important things."
Sunny grinned. "Thanks for being the link, Basil. We're lucky to have you."
With their bond strengthened and their determination high, they set off on their mission to retrieve Basil's missing photo album and make the most of their time together before Mari's treatment.
Basil chuckles as he excitedly walks ahead as he fixes his flower hair clip to say "Still!!! At least Sunny isn't too cooped up for the past 4 years he can't walk nor talk?" he teased.
Basil's teasing drew a playful response from Sunny. "Oh, come on, Basil! Do you think I'm actually that bad? I may not be as active as before, but I still know how to take care of myself. Besides, I've got Mari and you guys looking out for me."
Basil chuckled, adjusting his flower hair clip. "Of course, Sunny. We've got your back, no matter what. Just a little friendly ribbing, you know."
With their banter lightening the mood, they continued their preparations, ready to face the challenges ahead and support each other through thick and thin.
Kel laughs "Ahh never gets old for both of you huh? Well!!! Guess we can walk around—" Sunny ask with worry "I just hope Aubrey is okay…..Seriously…I still wound her pretty bad yesterday and she is the reason bugging Kel to check on me to come out at the right time?"
Kel joined in the laughter before addressing Sunny's concern. "Don't worry too much, Sunny. Aubrey understands. She's tough, and I'm sure she's doing fine. Plus, she's always looking out for you, so she'll be glad to see you up and about."
Sunny nodded, feeling reassured by Kel's words. "Yeah, you're right. I'll make sure to talk to her later and apologize properly. Thanks, Kel."
With their worries eased, the trio set out for a walk, ready to enjoy the day and tackle any challenges that came their way.
As they walk, Basil sighs "I just hope whoever stole my Album has a reason-"
As Kel spoke like a comical detective as they left Basil's home and walked "Hmmm, well Basil any possible suspects that can do that and manage to sneak to your specific room to get it?"
Kel's playful detective mode amused Sunny as they strolled along. "Well, Basil, do you have any rivals or secret admirers who might want to take a peek at your precious album?" Sunny teased, trying to lighten the mood.
Basil chuckled, playing along. "Hmm, not really. But maybe someone from the neighborhood with a knack for sneaking around? Or perhaps a curious critter mistook it for a treasure chest," Basil added with a grin.
Kel nodded dramatically. "Indeed! The mystery of the missing album deepens! Let's keep our eyes peeled for any clues or suspicious characters."
The trio continued their walk, enjoying each other's company and the playful banter as they kept an eye out for any signs that might lead them to Basil's missing photo album.
Sunny spoke seriously "Although this may be wrong to assume things, but we can ask the Hooligans if we could coincidentally spot some of them before facing Aubrey….besides she is also upset with Basil about the Album right?"
Sunny's suggestion carried a note of concern and practicality. "That's a good idea," Basil acknowledged. "We can discreetly ask around while we're out and see if anyone noticed anything unusual or saw someone near my house recently."
Kel nodded in agreement. "Yeah, and maybe Aubrey will appreciate us taking some initiative to solve this before we meet her again. It might help lighten the mood," Kel added optimistically.
The trio decided to keep an eye out for any of the Hooligans as they walked, hoping to gather some information that might lead them to the whereabouts of Basil's missing photo album and also help ease tensions with Aubrey.
They walk somewhere by the park and the main place of town. They spot Maverick. As Sunny monotonously points to say "Yep Kel like we discuss last time, I guess the Maverick is MIKHAEL…..I will never forget that habit of his way of standing by the corner is when we're classmates as kids…"
As Sunny pointed out Mikhael/Maverick, Kel raised an eyebrow and nodded in agreement. "Yeah, that's him alright. The way he stands, it's like he hasn't changed since our school days."
Basil, observing from a distance, added, "Should we approach him and ask about the missing album? Or do you think that might escalate things?"
Sunny considered their options. "Let's start with a casual conversation. Maybe he knows something or has seen someone suspicious around your place, Basil."
Kel grinned mischievously. "And if he's guilty, we'll catch him red-handed! Detective Kel on the case!"
Sunny chuckled. "Let's hope it doesn't come to that. But let's go talk to Mikhael and see what he knows."
MIKHAEL or calls himself the Maverick busy with waving away the girls he flirted with earlier. He turns and jumps as he blinks "Wait, why are you three approaching THE MAVERICK?"
As Mikhael, also known as the Maverick, noticed Sunny, Kel, and Basil approaching, he seemed taken aback. His playful demeanor shifted slightly, a hint of surprise in his expression.
Kel, ever the quick one, quipped, "Oh, just wanted to say hi to the infamous Maverick! Heard you've been making quite the waves around here."
Sunny, maintaining his calm demeanor, added, "We were wondering if you've seen anything unusual around Basil's place. His photo album mysteriously disappeared, and we're trying to track down any leads."
Mikhael's eyes darted between them, a flicker of curiosity mixing with his usual confident air. "Hmm, can't say I've noticed anything out of the ordinary. But I'll keep an eye out. You know me, always on the lookout for interesting things."
Basil, still concerned about his missing album, asked cautiously, "If you hear or see anything, could you let us know? It's quite important to me."
Mikhael nodded, his expression returning to a more relaxed state. "Sure thing, Basil. I'll keep my ears open. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some business to attend to." He winked playfully before turning back to the group of girls vying for his attention.
Kel grinned at Sunny and Basil. "See? Maverick's got our back, right?"
Sunny nodded, though a hint of doubt lingered in his mind. "Let's hope so. Thanks, Mikhael."
With that, they continued their walk, their thoughts on the missing album and the mysterious circumstances surrounding it.
Basil's relief was palpable as he remarked, "Seems like he's playing his part well, pretending not to be involved. But we know better, don't we?" (He played along forgetting yesterday how he is one of the hooligans that got beaten by you Sunny and Kel just to reach out to me...I hope you both know you did so much for me).
Kel nodded, a smirk playing on his lips. "Oh, definitely!!! Maverick's got a knack for putting on a show."
Sunny, ever observant, added, "Let's not jump to conclusions, though. We need more evidence before we point any fingers."
Basil nodded in agreement, his mind still on his missing album. "Right. Let's keep our eyes and ears open. Maybe we'll stumble upon something soon."
With renewed determination, they continued their walk, each lost in their thoughts about the mystery of the missing photo album and the possible involvement of the Hooligans.
As they walk, Kel notices one of the hooligans and beam by the bench part of the park "Hey another one!!! Charlene!!!! Can you talk to us?"
As they walked closer, Charlene looked up from her book, surprised to see Kel and the others. She hesitated for a moment before putting her book aside and standing up. "Kel? Sunny? Basil? What brings you all here?" she asked, eyeing them with a mix of curiosity and wariness.
Kel facepalmed with a smile, amused by Charlene's reaction. Meanwhile, Sunny stepped forward with a calm expression. "Hi, Charlene. You were with the hooligans yesterday, right? We're looking for Basil's Photo Album. Have you seen it or noticed anyone else with it?" Sunny asked politely, trying to gauge her reaction.
Charlene recalled that moment "Y-y-yeah, you beat us to stop Aubrey and get to your friend [Basil]. What happened now? Neither me nor anyone of our group caught your album as Aubrey's injured by you remember—" points at Sunny, which Sunny is about to say something until Kel intervened to calm down the situation back to focus.
"Hey, hey, let's stay focused here," Kel interjected, trying to diffuse the tension. "Charlene, we're just trying to figure out if anyone saw Basil's Photo Album. It's important to him, and we're hoping you might have noticed something, even if it seemed insignificant at the time." Kel's tone was calm and diplomatic, aiming to keep the discussion productive.
Charlene, known for her wallflower and straightforward attitude, paused for a moment, assessing the situation. She then replied with a hint of skepticism in her voice, "Look, Flowerboy, I don't know about any photo album. We were focused on our own business yesterday. Aubrey got hurt because she tried to stop you, but that's our problem to deal with, not yours."
Her response was curt and somewhat defensive, reflecting her loyalty to her group and reluctance to get involved in matters that didn't directly concern them.
Kel said kindly with his hands to gesture "Is it also because me and Sunny unintentionally beat you guys and ruined your pride? You all Hooligans insisted on fighting to give time for Aubrey okay okay….At least seen anyone went to Basil's house other than me and Sunny to sneak into his home?"
Kel's attempt to ease the tension and show empathy resonated with Charlene. She softened slightly, nodding in acknowledgment of his words. "Yeah, you guys caught us off guard yesterday. It's not just about pride; it's about sticking together. And no, I haven't seen anyone else go to Basil's place, except you two," Charlene admitted, her expression a mix of caution and curiosity.
Then, she blushed as Kel and spoke "Now Kelsey Corazon1 just leave me alone okay? Go on good luck with your search…."
Kel chuckled, understanding her reaction. "Alright, Charlene. Thanks for your help. Take care!" he replied cheerfully before gesturing for Sunny and Basil to continue their search elsewhere.
Later, both Basil and Sunny had that blank stare as Kel cluelessly asked "What? Despite hooligans well HOOLIGANS before I realize what they and Aubrey did to you Basil especially yesterday, hinting they did longer than that is well….sometimes they are still nice people—" As Sunny asks in doubt "Really? Are they being nice? For Aubrey, I trust she can still be nice like she usually used to be what about the rest?"
Kel shrugged, reflecting on their encounter with Charlene and the hooligans. "Well, maybe not all of them are nice in the traditional sense, but they seem to have their moments. Charlene wasn't so bad just now, right? And Maverick, well, he's a bit different but not always hostile," he explained, trying to see the positive side despite their past conflicts.
As Kel smiles kindly "Besides, Basil they didn't hurt you when they used to bully you physically and I did argue when yesterday realizing that--wait a second" he paused and continued with a sympathetic gaze "..Curious when did they start bullying you with Aubrey in the lead for the past 4 years since Sunny coop up to nurse our sleeping beauty (comatose) Mari? This might help us if you're comfortable.."
Basil's expression softened as he considered Kel's words. "It started not long after Mari went into her coma, about four years ago. Aubrey took the lead, and the others followed suit. It wasn't just physical bullying but also emotional," he admitted a hint of sadness in his voice.
Sunny and Kel got sympathetic. As Kel spoke "Wait if it started instantly since Mari is in a coma why? It seems recent that I learned the deface parts of Sunny's faces of every childhood photo we used to have been mentioned yesterday….."
Kel's observation triggered a somber atmosphere. Sunny glanced at Basil, silently urging him to share more. "Basil, was there something specific that triggered the bullying after Mari went into a coma?" Sunny asked, his tone gentle yet curious.
Basil spoke softly "I had no idea. Aubrey started dyeing only bits of her hair pink 2 years ago and using contact lenses. Guess after learning that I am the only one that can communicate to Sunny despite him being 'closed off' she.."
As Kel gasped and thought (wait even Aubrey knew Basil could still interact with Sunny than me?) As Basil continued saying "Anyways I am unsure—"fiddling with the fingers of his gardening gloves "All I know is it got more intense a year ago when she noticed the photo album again had the DEFACE on any image with Sunny in the photos…" glance at Sunny like a silent gaze to not spit it out yet. Sunny internally saw Something BEHIND Basil and he could feel the whispers of his own back, but thanks to Kel's presence he ignored it as he tried to pretend he was not involved with the defacing as he spoke "Anyways, Shall we instead shift the focus looking for Aubrey with the remaining Hooligans?"
The tension in the air lingered as Basil's words sank in. Kel's eyes widened with realization, but he kept his thoughts to himself for the moment. "Yes, let's focus on finding Aubrey and the Hooligans," Kel agreed, trying to steer the conversation away from the uncomfortable topic. Sunny nodded in agreement, grateful for the diversion. They set off together, their minds preoccupied with the mystery of Basil's defaced photos and the underlying tensions within their group.
Kel spoke as he bought a short break for a can of Orange Joe. Basil asks "Right Kel, you didn't explain to Sunny something—" As Sunny head-tilts "Explain what?" Glance at the drink Kel had "Ohh…Right, I almost forgot it's the first time Kel drinks Orange Joe. Or I am REALLY!!! way behind everyone to catch up?"
Kel chuckled, taking a sip of his Orange Joe. "No, no, it's not your fault, Sunny. I just never really tried Orange Joe before. Always stuck to my usual drinks," he explained, looking at the can curiously. "But I must say, it's not bad at all!" Sunny smiled, glad for the lighthearted moment amidst their current concerns. "Well, now that you've joined the Orange Joe club, let's keep our spirits up as we search for Aubrey and unravel this mystery," Sunny suggested optimistically.
Basil and Kel gasped. Sunny awkwardly got a silent shrug and said "What? Di-did I say so-something weird?"
Basil chuckled, shaking his head. "No, not at all, Sunny. It's just nice to see you in good spirits despite everything," he reassured, giving Sunny a pat on the back. Kel grinned, adding, "Yeah, you're right. Let's keep that positive energy going!" Sunny smiled gratefully at their encouragement, feeling a bit more confident as they continued their search for Aubrey and the missing photo album.
Then, Kel threw the can by the bin and carried Sunny again as Sunny said with a laugh "Woah Kel!!! I thought you were doing this VIP CARRY once. Why now again?"
Kel chuckled mischievously. "VIP carry for the VIP Sunny! Plus, it's good exercise, right?" he teased, adjusting his grip as they walked along the park. Sunny laughed along, enjoying the camaraderie and light-heartedness of the moment despite the earlier concerns.
Basil walks along with a gentle smile thinking (It's nice, he is adjusting for his first time outside in years despite the current issues of our lives now…) when they walk, rather Kel Jog a bit happily. He then turned to spot Angel, Vance, and Kim eating the snacks they took away from Kel and Sunny yesterday. As Basil whispers "Kel just don't scare them away okay? Remember what we're switching to look for this time."
Kel nodded with a grin, understanding Basil's concern. "Got it, no scaring them off this time," he replied in a low tone. As they approached Angel, Vance, and Kim, Kel put on a friendly smile. "Hey guys! Mind if we join you for a moment?" he asked casually.
Kim fixed her glasses and jumped as she almost choked on her snack that is candy. While Vance and Angel silently eat their sweets and snacks. As Kim angrily fixed her hair as well "Ack!!! Eck ughh…woah you three ughh…what do you want? Sure if you want snacks back they are almost gone!!!! And you peeps deserve it after what that boy did—" points at Sunny who is carried by Kel that is piggybacking his shoulders.
Kel chuckled nervously, trying to diffuse the tension. "Sorry about that yesterday. We were just really hungry, you know how it is!" He glanced at Sunny, who gave a sheepish wave from his perch on Kel's shoulders. "We wanted to certainly ask you guys something important. Have you seen anyone sneaking around Basil's house or acting suspiciously around here lately?"
Then, Kel glanced at Basil with a nod as Basil asked "Yet if you guys don't mind telling us since yes-y-yesterday…where is Aubrey currently? Maybe we can talk to her?"
As Angel finished his snack, he glanced at Vance and Kim before answering Basil's question. "Aubrey said something about going to the park to clear her mind," she said, looking slightly concerned.
Vance nodded in agreement. "Yeah, she mentioned needing some time alone. Said she wanted to sort things out," he added.
Kim, adjusting her glasses, chimed in, "I think she went to the spot by the big oak tree. That's where she usually goes when she needs to think."
Basil nodded gratefully. "Thank you, guys. We'll go check on her there," he said with a smile, appreciating their help.
Kel patted Sunny's shoulder gently. "Let's go find Aubrey. She might have some insights about what's been happening," he suggested, looking determined. Sunny nodded in agreement, his expression serious yet determined.
Then Kim whistles "Upup!!! Don't snitch on Aubrey we told you!!! And she has already got her slash wound on her hands and the right arm thanks to yesterday—" Kel frowns and speaks "Thanks KIM!!! Sunny pretty sure won't do the same thing twice right Buddy?" As he smiles to look at Sunny piggyback at him.
Sunny chuckled awkwardly, trying to lighten the mood. "Of course not! No repeats from me," he replied, giving Kel a playful nudge.
Basil interjected, "Let's focus on finding Aubrey and making sure she's alright. We'll sort things out with the rest later," he suggested, leading the way towards the park where Aubrey often went to clear her mind.
Some writing changes or decisions I did here are either spur of the moment or me going with the flow.
Still have a premise in mind
