Chapter 156 - Misunderstanding

Grayfia who took a closer look at the woman before her and there is nothing that doesn't scream the name of their progenitor. However, She knew that the person was a man and not a woman for her. Lucifer who notices the energy she emanated and vaguely guesses she's from the Lucifuge clan. Despite being different still had some similarities that she was able to point out.

She was told to hide her tail and horns, appearing more akin to Lucifer of this world. They had near identical appearances and unfathomable arrogance around her that made Grayfia to be in an inner turmoil with herself. 

Lucifer smirked seeing the fear in her eyes, reminding that she was the progenitor of all Devils and demons, be it another world or not. 

"Why don't you give a guess, young Lucifuge~?"

"Stop scaring her, Luci!"

"Ouch!"

Ryuu, who was standing beside her, gave Lucifer a light smack that could easily destroy a human's head from the impact. He noticed how frightened Grayfia was acting considering the trauma of the Great war still fresh in her mind even though it's been a few centuries after the death of the four Satan. A devil's mind doesn't easily rot away the memories of numerous slaughter because their progenitor decided to be a ruler.

DxD Lucifer and Ryuu have similar ambitions in his world but did not desire to steal freedom from the people and wish to just unite them while benefiting by slaughtering the corrupted individuals. He could care less if people refused to follow him and only those rotten to the core shall be punished by him. Regardless, Grayfia fear was answered and realized it could be true that this person that she thinks is the same person before her. 

"For father's sake!!? Why do you keep smacking me!!? I'm the goddamn queen of hell and you treat me like this!?"

"My apology, I'll explain who and what we are after we meet the other Maou."

"I-It's quite alright, then if you please follow me."

Ryuu nodded following Grayfia who amazingly recovered and hid her anxiety around Lucifer taking quick glances from who was looking at the young man who she could see through shrouding in mysterious yet enticing aura around him. The way he carried himself seems to have no opening even how much she tries.

Soon they stepped into a portal that took them straight to the underworld where Lucifer curiously looked around and took her chances by sprouting around 14 bat-like wings straight into the sky.

"Dammit Luci! Come down from there!"

Ryuu shouted, having a hard time managing her since she does things of her own accord. Lucifer was a bit surprised the version of the underworld was completely different than her own since the realm she lived in was completely fire and had numerous souls. After a few minutes descended back to where Grayfia was sure that she was in fact Lucifer. 

"I'm surprised that this place doesn't have any molten lava and screaming mortal souls like in my world."

"That's probably the realm of the dead, not this place."

Grayfia was becoming more and more curious to know the origin of this woman and everyone involved with the information that Rias provided them. She was sure that they weren't normal individuals and drawing blanks as to what exactly is going on. 

She took them to a building that had an extravagant Victorian aesthetic with torches as the source of light walking their Way through the hall and soon around in a double door.

"I have brought them, Sirzechs-sama."

"Oh come inside. We've been eager to meet them."

They opened the door to be greeted by four individual one with wild green hairs seemingly inspecting their appearances and a bald haired one who seemed to trying to keep himself awake while a young petite girl with large breast and ponytail wearing a magical girl outfit was looking at them emanating a bubbly air

The most eye-catching is the handsome young man with crimson red hair observing their appearance and was shocked to see the young woman beside them like the rest of the people inside. Lucifer was entertained to see their reaction but shivered when Ryuu looked at her ready to smack her any time.

"Greetings, it's a pleasure to meet the four Great Maou. I am Ryuu or you may call me Yaldabaoth which one you prefer."

"And as you have guess little children, I am the devil herself, the ruler of this plac-"

*Bonk*

The intense atmosphere as she was introducing herself while the four Maou were prepared to fight her at any given moment was dissipated when she received a smack from Ryuu. Serafall couldn't help but light giggled seeing them act that way. 

"One more time then I'll turn your blood into vinegar!"

"You could try. But putting that aside, I know it is quite tense but let me explain how, who and why we are here." 

Ryuu didn't waste time and just transferred the information through his [ Twisted Deception ] allowing them to gain everything in an instant. They were baffled from what they've learned that their other world like Ajuka and many others had theories. 

He left out the information that their world is fiction and that their otherworld was given a mission by an unknown entity.  Ryuu only realized that he had the ability to see the possible future which showed how things would have gone down. 

"My Maou! This is unbelievable….a multiverse is real!? And Trihexa…."

Ajuka exclaimed trying to figure out the possibility of travelling through other worlds while troubled by the news of a powerful beast that was about to be released by their mortal enemy. 

"To think that you're an alternative version of the Great Lucifer but it's weird that your woman…"

"What does that supposed to mean!?"

"N-Nothing."

Falbium shut up trying not to fight Lucifer even if she's not the one he's familiar with. He doesn't want to take any chances of fighting someone like her. Meanwhile, Sirzechs was contemplating on what kind of course to prevent those major events from happening.

You'd think that they'll have doubts but the detail about the thing they've is too frightening to be coincidence. If they took it seriously then it could save countless lives and avoid confronting such a terrifying beast. 

"Serafall, have you started investigating the Naberius incident?"

"I was but they were refusing to cooperate." 

Serafall gave a defeated sigh in annoyances since she is the one responsible foreign affairs and would be a large scandal if it was known that the Naberius were doing experiments on a member of the Yokai faction. They can't afford to start another war when all sides are exhausted from the previous war.

"Then we'll discuss it later. For now, I must thank you for what you've shown us…what is it that we can do to repay you?"

Sirzech believed that any prize would be worth giving to him after what he showed them. It was near priceless information especially about the Khaos brigade that they were skeptical if it actually existed. They only knew that old Satan had been far too quiet lately and we're now convinced that they're preparing for something.

He planned to contact the other faction to discuss more in detail about what they've gained. Sirzech couldn't even consider this threat that they can solve on their own and full cooperation of every faction is needed to be done. 

"My desire is quite simple, one is a full set of Evil pieces. Even though I wanted the schematic on how to create it I'll be considerate and just ask for Evil pieces."

"Can it be done, Ajuka?"

"I'll try to prepare a set once I've returned back to my laboratory."

"Great, then finally one is just because I want to…"

"What would that be?"

Ryuu glances at Rias who had been quiet the whole trip but he just wanted to say something about the fried chicken since he realized that if she is the one who fought off engagement then the hate can be directed to rias. 

"To duel Raiser in freeing Rias from her engagement." 

Rias's eyes went wide like the rest of them, which made Sirzechs taken aback by the request and turned her little sister shocked to see that she had an expression of someone deeply infatuated. It made his eye twitch while Ryuu unaware his words was misunderstood as 'I want to marry your sister'
