Rusty POV

I look down at Sam as he shows me the silver dust that used to be the matrix.

I throw my arms up while saying." We are so fuck."

In the distance, as we exit the temple we see a flare mark out where the Autobots are along with N.E.S.T.

Sam tells us that there is still a chance to save Optimus, so I just nod and head off towards the drop-off site.

Starscream shows up and begins bombarding us with missiles.

I transformed into my bipedal form before jumping and becoming a helicopter, this is enough to get Starscream's attention of the group and target me.

As Starscream tries to shoot me down with missiles I transform to dodge out of the way before becoming a helicopter again.

I managed to keep this up for a few minutes before he flew directly into me, taking me out of the sky.

We threw punches for a bit before I pushed him back far enough to unload into him with my blasters, doing a hefty amount of damage.

He transformed with difficulty and ran like the coward he was, I didn't stop firing at him during this until he was out of sight.

I took flight again, heading towards the drop zone but from up high I spotted Judy, Ron, Sam and Michaela.

I watched for a bit there were two Decepticons one was like a panther or a cat and the other had a drill for a leg I think.

I began firing at the one-legged Decepticon, he turned around and faced me trying to shoot me out of the sky, but as big as his guns are they are pretty pathetic.

I decided to land by transforming into my bipedal form and slowly began marching towards him as I continued to shoot him.

I was tearing him to pieces with each shot, is he just weak or am I just that strong?

He fell to the ground barely alive as I walked towards him, I brought out my sword and swung down decapitating him.

I didn't even notice Bumblebee behind me that whole time fighting the Panther Decepticon.

artillery was firing around us and Sam was trying to get his parents to leave him behind.

They wanted to leave with me but I told them to go with Bee and I'll protect their Son.

I transformed and let Michaela and Sam in before taking off driving around the buildings and avoiding enemy fire.

We passed my Ratchet who directed me on where exactly to go. But the way there was right through the enemy,making it easy for the Decepticons to pick us off.

I drove down to the site and was heading between the pillars before Megatron shot me up the ass, flipping me and forcing me to transform.

I turned to face Megatron while Sam and his Girlfriend ran. Luckily I wasn't facing him alone I had cover fire from the Autobots and the humans.

They were shouting something at me but I couldn't hear what they were saying.

Just then me and the Decepticons got hit with a bombing run, it blew off both my legs and one of my arms.

Most of the Decepticons weren't any better, but Megatron was mostly fine and shot at Sam, but the Autobots chased him off before he could follow up on that attack.

I slowly began to crawl towards Optimus and Sam. I leaned against a rock to sit myself up and watch as the paramedics tried to save him.

Judy and Ron showed up and I had to look away, Not wanting to meet their eyes as they called out for their son who might not come back.

But by some miracle the matrix reformed itself and Sam woke up, saying he loved Michael at last and getting up onto Optimus's chest before plunging the matrix into him.

Optimus began coughing up sand and dust before he got up onto his feet only to be knocked down by the Fallen as he stole the matrix.

The humans began firing at the pyramid in hopes of taking out the machine and the Fallen.

But then the Fallen manipulated the Electromagnetic Field to pull up all the human weaponry before dropping it, letting it fall down the Pyramid and destroying all the jets tanks and missiles.

Jetfire sat down next to me looking towards Optiums before saying." Do you remember me?"

I look at him confused and in pain."Pardon?"

Still looking towards Optimus said." I remember you, I broke into your archives oh so long ago, haha, you didn't take too kindly to that you called me every name under Primus's ass. You were heartbroken I destroyed part of your archive just to get what I needed for my mission. I just want to say sorry, I know I won't get to say it any other time other than now."

He stood up before saying." I lived a miserable life, I've never believed anything was worth doing till now. Optimus, Rusty take my parts so you both may enter the good fight again."

He then began to reach into his chest to pull out his spark and nodded before yanking his spark chamber out.

As he fell to the ground dead, I kept thinking about my memories. Is it so bad to forget my human past to remember a better one? A Cybertronian one?

Just then a new bot Jolt, connected to Optimus and Jetfire, gave Optimus his wings and thrusters.

He then connects to me giving me my legs back and an arm. I stand up and find that I still have my original weapons I'm just even more rusty now, living up to my name I guess.

Optimus took off towards the Fallen and engaged in combat with them, while I was trailing behind as Optimus was now faster than me in the air and the ground.

When I got there Optimus already killed the Fallen and Megatron fled with Starscream.

I landed and watched everyone show up and Sam hugged his parents, all three of them hugging. I've never seen them be so close.

We then decided to leave Egypt and boarded a huge carrier.

I stood next to Optimus looking out at the ocean. Sam and Optimus already had their chat and Optimus said his speech.

Optimus put his hand on my shoulder before thanking me again for my assistance and sacrifice.

I turned to look up at him and said." Optimus, I want to join the Autobots. I'm old, real old.

So old I can't even remember how old I actually am. I've only got little pieces of memories here and there.

I believe if I continue to fight alongside you I'll regain those memories and better myself."

Optimus nodded." Welcome to the Autobots, Rusty. I can have Ratchet do a checkup on you back at the base. You have been an extraordinary help, my friend."

With that Optimus left me to my thoughts while I admired the ocean.
