Chapter 5: Fire enemies

'A special quest? Of course, at the best time' Sokka thought with some sarcasm, seeing how that ship stopped.

"Is this where the plan begins?" Katara whispered, looking at her brother, who nodded.

"Don't worry, it'll be fine, it's impossible for it to fail," Sokka declared, watching how several Fire Nation soldiers got off the ship.

As soon as they all stepped onto the ice, the ground creaked until it sank. They all fell into the icy water, sinking in it.

"Now Katara!" Sokka exclaimed, looking at his sister, who ran towards where the soldiers had fallen to start her brother's plan.

Katara blew a blizzard and suddenly the area where the soldiers were was frozen, and all of them were trapped under the ice.

Sokka's plan was very simple. Make a hole at the entrance to the village, so that when the soldiers stepped on it, they would fall inside.

Although it could also have been the case that the soldiers entered through a different place. But Sokka decided to follow his instinct, and it worked.

"Sokka, won't they drown?" Katara asked looking at his brother. He didn't answer that.

Katara looked at him deeply, then turned. Sokka did the same, until he heard a crunch, "Damn it, you're going to pay for what you did to us!"

Sokka quickly aimed his boomerang at the soldier's head, knocking him unconscious. The soldier's body returned to the water.

Then the children of the village began to applaud. Gran Gran was surprised that her grandson's plan had turned out perfectly.

"Well, let's go to the ship to see if there are any other soldiers around" Sokka commented, looking at his sister, who nodded in obedience.

Then they entered the ship, it was not too big, but there were several rooms in it and an attack cannon, "Well well."

"Do you think there is no one here?" Katara asked as they walked down a hallway on the ship.

"I don't know, it's better to go out" Sokka thought in case they were being tracked. It would be better to be in the open field, so they would have an advantage in case they were attacked.

Then Sokka left, heading up the stairs. When she turned to look at her sister, he saw a man behind her, holding her back, "Ah."

"Back off, or I'll blow her brains out!" the soldier threatened creating a flame of fire in his hand. Katara looked scared.

Sokka gave her a reassuring look and for some reason Katara trusted him, she couldn't exert her water control to free herself from that soldier.

"Okay okay," Sokka stepped back, letting the man finish climbing the stairs, 'Time to check if you always boomerang back.'

Sokka threw the boomerang at the man, throwing it wrong on purpose, "That was your attack? How stupid! You two are going to die."

"This is my attack," Sokka commented with a big smile and then the boomerang returned, hitting the back of the soldier's head, "Well done."

"Sokka!" Katara ran over to her brother,

"Since when have you become so...cool?"

"Well, since I learned not to show any mercy to those who don't deserve it," Sokka responded, sighing, "Look, we already have a ship to travel on."

"Travel where?" the girl asked, curious.

"To the north pole, we will leave tomorrow" Sokka answered with a smile. Katara's eyes shone, she would finally fulfill one of her dreams.

[Expert Thrower: When you throw a weapon, it will go with 25% more accuracy towards the target]

"This is too much, I'd better distribute the points at home" Sokka thought, closing his eyes with great satisfaction, "Katara, throw that man into the water"

"What?" Katara asked, but Sokka's seriousness prompted her to do so, "Well..." the girl made a whirlwind of water and threw it at him.

"Well done sister, this ship is ours now," Sokka declared, squeezing the knuckles of her fingers. Katara crossed her arms, hesitant.
