106. Dreams and Realities

Tonight is going to be one of the best nights of my life. Everything seems so perfect, from the dress I will be rocking at the movie premiere, to the hairstyle my hair stylist will be creating. Even my shoes. I will look like Cinderella as I step onto the red carpet.

"Loving the look?" my hair stylist asks as he stares at my reflection in the mirror, closely watching for my reaction.

"I never knew chestnut brown would look good on me!" I exclaim excitedly, turning from side to side, clearly assessing how it enhances my features.

"The cameras will love you. The fans will love you even more."

I had finished putting on the silver dress Jerry chose for me for tonight when my front door opens and an unpleasant Michael staggers into the living room.

"Eww, what's that smell?" one of the guys helping with the styling asks while aggressively pinching his nose.

"Michael?"
