107. All That Glitters

It's all flashing lights and camera shutters clicking as I step down from the limousine. It should have overwhelmed me as it is my first time experiencing something like this. But I am enjoying every moment of it.

The lead actor takes my hand and leads me towards the red carpet where the paparazzi are already waiting to give me all of their attention.

"Just smile and answer every question they throw at you, just like we discussed on our way here."

"Are they that mean, though?"

"Not exactly, but they will gawk at you on seeing that you are a new face."

"Alright," I suck in a deep nervous breath.

"Hey you! Give us a good pose, come on!"

Just like I have practiced a few times in front of my full-length mirror, I turn my back to the camera and strike a pose, turning only my face to them.

"Good! Bonita! Give us another one! Tell us your name!"

"Sarah! Sarah Darlington! That's her name," Jerry shouts at them.
