Chapter 3: The Warrior...

I could feel my heart jump into my throat as the women kept her eyes on me. Her smile changed and she suddenly stopped. This caused the other group to stop and the goblins turned around with angry looks.

I didn't move a muscle as I gazed into the women's eyes. One of the goblins gave off a growl and walked over to the women with a makeshift spear. He raised it and yelled at her brandishing the weapon in her face, but she never tore her gaze from me.

Suddenly, the goblin stabbed the women with the spear causing it to pierce her arm. As I watched the blade retreat from her arm covered in blood I felt something snap. My grip tightened on the knife and I charged forward. I reached forward and gripped he goblins spear, but before the goblin could react I slammed the blade right into the eye of the goblin. The feeling of warm blood coated my hand as I ripped the blade away.

I didn't stop there, and moved toward the next two goblins who were now charging at me. I dodged a pathetic swing from a goblin with an axe and reached forward grabbing his throat. With a tight grip on the goblins throat I lifted him up as the second goblin thrust his spear at me. The end pierced the back of the goblin I was holding as it screamed in pain. I threw the goblin to the side and kicked the spear goblin in the face feeling his nose break underneath my foot.

With the spear goblin knocked back I quickly rammed my knife down the top of his head. When the blade struck the pot it suddenly snapped and flew into the darkness. I cursed and as I was about to punch the goblin a figure suddenly farted past me and rammed a boot down onto the goblins face. The speed and force behind the boot caused the goblins legs made a sickening crunch and the creature cried out as it's head was driven into the floor in a explosion of blood.

I followed the boot to the body of the person, and found myself staring at the golden eyed women again. She turned towards with a smile and said, "Behind you." I turned just in time to see an axe fly past my head I swung the back of my hand towards the attacker and watched as my hand connected with the goblins jaw. There was a loud pop and the goblin flew, his axe flying from his hands as he slammed into the ground.

I turned my gaze back to the women to see her making her way towards me. She was a little shorter than me so I had to gaze down at her. She lifted her arms over and wrapped them around my head. "May I have your name?" I felt my heart flutter as she tilted her head to me with a smile.

"I'm....Uh?" Her smile widened as she removed her arms from my neck and gave me a wink. "You don't have to tell me your name, but I would like to know why your here?" She moved over to where the axe was and stared rubbing the rope tied to her wrist across the edge.

"You don't dress like a warrior, but you sure as hell fight like one." As she said this the rope snapped from her hands and she threw it to the side. She then grabbed the axe and gave it a few swings. I heard a small moan and turned to the side to see the last goblin push himself up his jaw hanging at an angle.

As he gazed up at me an axe suddenly slammed into his forehead. Blood erupted from his head and he fell limp his eyes wide with shock. I looked over at the women to see her stretching and gazing at me. "By the way my name is Alice...I'm a Adventurer."
