Our main character must travel the world to find his origin and possible find adventure! Hello, I’m the author and I would like to say thank you for reading. It may not be much, but it’s my first book and I hope I can make more chapters. I’m a college student so I don’t have much time on my hands so bear with me if you enjoy it. If not that’s fine with me I hope I can improve on my writing skills in the future.

Chapter 2: Golden Eyes...

The creatures head was bent at an angle with blood pooling from its mouth. I grimaced at the sight and tore my gaze away my stomach churning in disgust. Trying to keep the myself from throwing up, I moved over to where the goblins knife laid.

Reaching down I gripped the worn-out handle of the knife. The blade itself was in poor condition with rust and chipped edges. (It's better than nothing?) I looked down towards my body, and gazed at my clothes.

I wore a pair of pants that were made from some sort of black fabric. I gazed at my pants and noticed a large name on the side that reached down toward my foot.

"Hollister?"

I froze, and suddenly found myself hearing my voice for the very first time. It was deep but at the same time it was a young. I reached up toward my face to visualize what I look like. My nose was small and my ears where a little large. I could feel a slim jawline with high cheekbones. I combed my hand through my hair to feel it smooth and long.

As I explored my face with my hand, I suddenly heard something. I froze and heard the sound of moving footsteps. I quickly ran over to the dead goblin and dragged him into the shadows. Then I found a small puddle of water and extinguished the torch.

I moved back into the shadows with the dead goblin near my feet. I gripped the knife tightly as I watched four more touches appear. Each one was held by a goblin, but these goblins were different. Each one wore a plate of makeshift armor on their bodies. Some had pots on their heads while other wore large helmets.

I watched as the creatures fully came into view as well as something else. Behind the goblins tied together with rope were humans. Each one was a girl of various ages. Some were young while others were older and each one was covered in cuts and bruises. I could hear the younger ones crying and some had looks of defeat on their faces.

As I moved forward I noticed one women in particular. She wore leather armor over well muscles arms her skin was tan and she had auburn colored hair. Besides the cuts and bruises on her face she really looked gorgeous. But what got my attention where her eyes. They were yellow almost a golden color as I stared at her she suddenly turned toward me. I froze and she seemed to be staring right at me. As the goblins passed me with the captives the one women kept her eyes on me, and slowly a smile appeared on her face.
