Henry's Confession

"What do you mean you don't understand. I was told you were in the garden all by yourself, what is she doing here?"

"Actually I came to the garden to meet her, do you have a problem with that"

"No I don't. I thought maybe we could talk, it's been long since I saw you that why I said I should visit you"

"Yes that true but I am with Michelle"

"I can see that, well am here now. I know she is just your friend but both of you are not supposed to be seen together like this"

"What do you mean we can't be seen together"

"Henry is nothing don't bother yourself. Michelle leave now, thank you for keeping him company but am here now so you should go"

(Holds Michelle hand)"She is not going anywhere and you did I tell you to leave"

"No but"

"And your going like that just like you always do and Helen you always do this when am with someone you can't just tell her to go, this time am not allowing it to happen".

"I just don't tell anyone to leave except maybe the person is a servant"

"Is she a servant"

Yes she is and don't act like you don't know"

"Well she is not going anywhere"

"Henry please let me go, we will see later"

(Tighten his grip)"No, I said your not going anywhere"

"But Henry, princess Helen came to see you, it's not right"

"Oh please stop acting innocent in front of Henry, your just faking it"

"I'm not pretending or faking anything"

"How dare you speak back to me you good for nothing girl"

"Hey Helen stop it, you can't talk to her that way"

"I can cause she is a servant here in this palace stop treating her more than that"

"Helen can you go"

"No I want to talk to you now"

"Can't you see that I am busy, please leave the garden I will meet you later"

"Are you telling me to leave because of her"

"Helen go now you're disturbing me "

"What are you still doing here, please leave now"

"Helen let's go"

"But Diane"

"He doesn't want to talk to you. Don't argue with him the best thing now is for you to leave them"

"I can't leave him with Michelle alone"

"Well you have to, lets go now"

"But (annoyed) Okay lets go"(They both leave the garden)

"Henry I don't think it was right for you to tell Princess Helen to leave because of me"

"It wasn't because of you I told her to leave"

"Then why"

"Nothing, I personally don't like her attitude and I don't feel like talking to her. I just want to stay here with you"

"But she came here just to meet you and you know how far her place is"

"Michelle are you finding a way to push away"

"No why would you say that, I like being with you but"

"But what Michelle I said I will talk to her later"

"Okay (Smile) you don't have to get angry"

"Am sorry I feel like everyone is just pushing me to Helen.I don't like it"

"Well, they are doing that because she is of the same class with you"

"Still it doesn't matter. I don't think it something that should be forced you know friendship and relationship it something that comes naturally"

"Why are you talking like that (laughs) Henry don't think about it too much okay"

"Michelle there's something I want to tell you"

"Okay tell me"

"I don't know how you will react to it"

"It's okay you can tell me"

(Holds her hands)"Michelle your the only one that understands me and you have been my friend since we were little and all the times we had spent together till this moment has been the best moments to me. There is no one as nice and caring like you. I don't know how I will say it but am scared you might not want to talk to me again but I can't keep it to myself"

"Why would I stop talking to you, tell me"

"Michelle I really like you. I like you so much"

(Removes her hands away from Henry's own)

"What! are you hearing what your saying , that you like me. Gosh Henry I don't know if you're being foolish or your just young"

"What do you mean"

"Henry am a servant in your palace, My mom works a servant for you people"

"So what wrong with that"

"Everything Henry, you don't know what your saying. If anyone hears this if Helen hears about it or the queen do you know what will happen. I don't want anything happen to my family"

"But Michelle nothing we will happen"

"Oh really nothing, you know that your mother doesn't like me. Like come on have you ever seen a prince and then a servant together"

"Michelle that doesn't matter, why are you caring about what other people will think"

"Cause I care about my family and I don't feel the same way about you either. I thought you just saw me as a friend and nothing more I can't believe you just felt other wise and infact we are young for this things"

"Alright I'm really sorry , I made a mistake. Just forget about what I just said"

"How do you expect me to forget what you just said everything was going well you just have to spoil it, you've spoilt everything"

"But you said you won't get angry about what I will say"

"Yes cause I didn't imagine you will say something like this please l want to go"

"Why I said am sorry"

"Nothing I just want to go to my room"

"Okay, so you don't really feel anything towards me"

"I don't know about it, I can't even talk to you. please am leaving"

(With sadness in his eyes) Okay , am sorry once again"

(Michelle leaves the garden.. leaving only Henry alone)

"Damn what did I do I should have not said anything about it to her now am sure she wouldn't want to talk to me again.

(Kicking his foot on the ground) I messed everything up....I hate myself, I hate everything"
