Chapter 4: REJECTION

Alex stone's P.O.V:

Growing up life hasn't been always fair to us, I and asher took the alpha's position it wasn't given to us, we took it when we were just mere 16year olds when we had gathered enough courage to challenge our excuse of a father. I remember all too well for my good.

The way father would overwork the pack members, the pack was getting weak, and then father would abuse mother in every way he can but there was nothing we could do about it except protect our little sis Ashley, we didn't want Ashley growing up into this kind of environment, he had torture us and anybody who made any little mistake.

Our pack was the weakest back then, hardly had any warriors to defend us from rouge attacks if it were to happen. Whenever alphas from another pack would visit he would always put on a façade making the other alphas believe he was a good alpha, mate, and father. Even the elders believed it as he made it as realistic as possible.

Suddenly things started getting worse as rouge attacks became a regular thing leaving two or more members injured or dead. Pack members started getting scared but couldn't voice it out as they feared what their father would do to them, children started getting sick because of malnutrition now this got the elder4s attention but they didn't do anything much other than sending supplies for proper food for the pack as it seems we were going into farming. We thought we could find help by visiting the elders and other neighboring packs, I and asher explained the whole situation to them hoping they had helped us out we included all that has been happening in the pack but none of them believed a thing we said instead they all bluntly rejected our cry for help except our uncle whos also an alpha, he didn't reject because he wasn't available then but I'm sure if we had met him he would have surely helped us as he was the only one who could see through our fathers façade, he's like a father to us even though we still had our father with us. we always sent Ashley over if we wanted to go just for escape father wouldn't allow it.

I remember the joy in the eyes of the pack members on the day we defeated our father and took his position I also remember the fear in their eyes thinking we were going to be like our father but we wouldn't be, and we couldn't just let our mother die by his hands or let the pack members die from rouge attacks that were a constant threat to them we had to do something and so we did it, we freed them from his cunning ways, he's selfish ways as alpha and the torture made us the alphas we are today:

FLASHBACK:

Third person p.o.v:

Back at the cellar right after the basement of the packhouse stood Raphel and her twin sons who were kneeling with the little strength they had after Raphel had beaten them both with the whip in his hand, Raphel looked at his children with disgust and so much hatred, to him these boys were a disgrace and punishing the like this is the only way to make them into the kind of alphas he wants even though he doesn't want them to be alphas but anybody in their right mind could see it was pure torture and not training or punishment. Raphel look at the boys and said" You filths are no children of mine, you're a disgrace with that mother of yours" he said those words with pure hatred and so much venom as Raphel's mate had rejected him and he married Alex and asher's mother as her mate had died before they could even get to know each other better later onwards Raphel and the boy's mother met and fell in love at least their mother thought he loved her. Rachel found out the boy's mother's real mate had died and thought she used him as a rebound without knowing her love for him was pure and true so he took it out on his twin sons Alex and asher.

Raphel spoke again "You boys will never be alpha or anyone, you're just as worthless as that whore you call mother" with that said Raphel stabbed both boys by the sides and poured wolfbane in their cuts making the boys scream and cry in agony he left them there to deal with his wife Cassandra.

A year later both boys had had enough of it when their pack was attacked and their mother was almost killed by rogues so they challenge their father to a fight, the whole pack was anticipating who will win they thought that their father would win cause these boys were just mere teenage boys so when their father's lifeless body fell to the ground everybody was shell shocked and happy at the same time their new alphas had come.

Damien's p.o.v:

Today's the day I would reject her, I don't know how am going to face her because of the stupid mate bond I started feeling since her birthday was close but she wouldn't until she turned 18, I already turned 18 but didn't feel the stupid bond as I would have to wait till my mates 18 or few days to 18.

I got dressed and walked downstairs to the party, I heard mom and dad wishing chole a happy birthday, I know it's also her's too but we don't bother with it and soon later we all forgot about it I mean I did but James always brings it up one way or the other. Speaking of the devil I saw with another omega who looks about my age it honestly surprises me that he's talking to the lowest of all omegas, I called her out and dragged her to a nearby room where no one would come looking into, I looked her in the eyes " I Damien Jayden Ross alpha of bright moon pack reject you Nicole ava Jacobs as my mate and luna, you're undeserving and too weak and human to be my mate and don't you dare speak about this to anyone you whore" I said with an emotionless face and a monotone voice but I was surprised by what I heard next " I Nicole Ava Jacobs accept your rejection Alpha Damien Jayden Ross Alpha of Bright moon pack" she said with a small voice barely above a whisper and I left still shocked by her acceptance.
