Chapter 43

After they meet with Whis and Shin, Kurama drags Naruto out of Toki Toki city to King Yama station, Naruto doesn't know what is going through his grumpy fox head and lets him drag around. Currently, Naruto isn't in the mood to speak with anyone else.

Kurama had enough, It was time for Kit to face his nightmares and get over it. 

King Yama was surprised by their arrival. He listened to Kurama, King of Hell, who requested King Yama for Heaven's entrance. Usually, Kurama doesn't need permission however with the things going on, It was safer to go through with regulations.

"I must say...I wasn't expecting you to go through with regulations..." King Yama says signing the papers.

Kurama shrugs. "I hate paperwork. For Kit, it's worth it. Anyway, will you handle the signs on paper? I will take Kit to their family"

"Of course, My apologies for keeping you waiting. The pass is registered, You and your warden can head to the heavens"

"Excellent, Thanks, King Yama"

With that said, Kurama grabs Naruto by the shoulder and drags him away. "Come on Kit, we need to cross the snake path, Shouldn't get lazy now"

Naruto blinks, He looks at Kurama. "Where are we going?"

"Where do you think you are dumbass?" Kurama scowls. "We are going to see Sakura for your head check-up! Tsunade would be helpful however Sakura was your medic as she knows your medical record"

"That's true..."

Kurama lets him go as they make It to the snake path and rests both of his hands on his hips. "Are you ready to go?"

Naruto looks at the snake's path and smiles. "Good old Snake path...Are we gonna race?"

Kurama grinned. "Eat a dust kit!" He starts running faster leaving Naruto behind and laughs.

Naruto gasps. "Hey! No fair!!" He runs after him. "You ass! Come back here!!"

"HAHA! YOU SNOOZE YOU LOSE!!"

"YOU CHEATED!!"

Meanwhile, Whis and Shin returned to planet Earth, and Bulma was waiting for them. She waves in their direction. "Welcome back! Whis, I have gotten your orders here" That's when she realized Naruto wasn't with them. "Huh? He isn't here?"

Shin shakes his head. "No, He's going to visit his family in heaven"

Whis pout. "I could have gotten him here. If it wasn't for Kurama..."

"Oh I see, Should I get Vegeta?"

"No need, It's vacation for the Saiyans...They should take care of their family once in a while"

Shin rubs his eyes. "I wouldn't mind eating something sweet"

Bulma smiles and claps her hand. "I can bring some cake"

Whis eyes lit up. "Cake? Yes please!"

"Haha! I had a feeling, All right you guys take your seats while I get the orders"

"Thank you, Bulma!"

Once Bulma walks away, Shin looks at Whis who takes a seat and he takes a seat on the opposite side of him. "Hey, Whis...What's going on?"

"Mm?"

"I mean, what is going on? I noticed your tense..."

Whis chuckled. "Nothing escapes your observation, huh?"

Shin looks down on his lap, flushing and smiling. "M-Maybe..."

He rests both his elbows on the table and looks serious. "As you already know, Naruto traveled to the past and gave a scroll to Gowasu for future threats…We are aware of the enemy... It's just we don't know where the enemy is hidden. A lot of things came to light for example the Otsutsuki clan...It makes sense how they knew about angel staff up close...Someone has been giving them ideas..."

Shin blink. "Who?"

Whis eyes closed, smiled and pressed his finger against his lips. "It's a secret"

Shin sweat drops. "I don't get It, How is It a secret?"

"Because it is angels business"

"Oh"

Shin didn't ask any further questions, if it's Angel's business that means he cannot know any further than this. He looks to the sideway where Bulma is coming to them and a guy follows behind her pushing a food cart.

"Ooh! Our food is here" Whis looks excited and rubs his hands together. "The cake looks delicious"

'He sure loves sweets…'' Shin thought.

Bulma wave. "Hey there, The cake is here!"

"What kind of cake is It?"

"Strawberry cake"

"Yes! Strawberry cake!"

'I wonder what Naruto is doing...' Shin thought, resting his elbow on the table and leaning his chin against his palm thinking about the blonde man. 'He's like Goku... Just a bit different

"Shin! Here is your slice of cake"

"Mm? Oh! Thank you"

What doesn't make sense to Shin? Why does Naruto want to adopt him so badly?

Meanwhile, Naruto scowls at Kurama who had cheated and Kurama looks smug. They have reached the end of the snack path and fly off heading towards the side of heaven. Naruto isn't familiar with the directions like Kurama is.

They have reached the place, and Naruto feels overwhelmed sensing the chakra. Some are familiar and others are not. He didn't know which direction to head off to.

"Come on" Kurama wrapped his arm around his shoulder and dragged him with him. "We are going to meet up with Sakura. I think Konoha is that way"

Naruto blinked. "Konoha?"

Kurama snorted. "You forgot? They made a village kind of like in the real world, Except there is no government...People didn't mind living together it's just they wanted to keep this way for nostalgia"

Naruto frowns. "I don't remember...Huh! I am forgetting..."

"And that's why we are here to fix that head of yours!"

"Yeah"

They were walking side by side, and Naruto noticed a path and looked ahead to see familiar gates. He swallows. "Did they...You know...made the same village?"

"Last time when I came here, Hashirama was using wood style to create old wooden theme houses, soon others arrived and they made more improvements...I think they might have added technology here"

"I see..."

Soon, they reached the gate and stopped. Kurama looked at Naruto who was staring at the gates. "What?"

"I..."

"Naruto!"

Naruto stiffens, eyes widen, and sees someone he hasn't seen in a while. "O-Oh..."

The person grins. "Finally, show up huh?"

Naruto blinks away the tears. "H-Hey Iruka...." God, no matter how much his memory fades, still remembers Iruka. 

Iruka was older. He was wearing a traditional kimono. It had red and golden leaf patterns on it. "What's keeping you out? Come on! I wanna show you a lot around here"

Naruto wipes the tears away, feeling more emotional than ever, and steps forward. "Sorry to keep you waiting, Iruka! How's everyone!" He brightly grins and hugs him.

Kurama smiled, feeling satisfied to see Kit brighter than gloom. It was one step towards healing.

Iruka hugs him back.

Soon, more people arrive, Minato, Kushina, Sasuke, Sakura, Hiruzen, Tsunade, Jiraiya, and many more. All were happy to see Naruto come to visit them.

"Naruto!" 

Naruto pulls back from Iruka and laughs waving at everyone. "Hey guys! I am back!"
