Nolan's jacket.

Nolan lips curled slightly as his slender fingers touched the face of the delicate-looking girl in the photo. But his dark and deep eyes suddenly turned cold when his gaze landed on the man standing with Bonie. Nolan ripped the photograph in half, separating the two subjects. He threw the photo of the man away and placed Bonie's picture back into his drawer.

After a moment Nolan's junior Mathew entered his room. In his hand was a medium-sized package, some important files that his senior had requested from him earlier.

"Did you confirmed it?" Nolan asked as he flipped through the files.

"Yes. Mr Fedrick was behind in it" Mathew replied carefully while Nolan simply nodded his head disinterestedly.

"What is that?" Nolan asked when he saw the package in Mathew's hand.

Mathew handed it over to Nolan. "It seemed that a woman sent you something" Mathew said.

Nolan tore the packaging and looked inside. There was only one piece of clothing that he had lent to Bonie. From the way it looked, this jacket has been sent to dry-cleaning before she mailed it back to him.

Mathew was staring with baffled eyes at Nolan unusual blank expression.

"And....I got a call from the hospital. They informed that they refer you to another Doctor named Dr. Adam Stone" Mathew continued.

Nolan lifted an eyebrow upon hearing this. His movement for a while before he swiftly threw the package on the table.

Mathew watched Nolan with his eyes wide. This was the first time that he had seen Nolan tossing something. He wondered something wrong in his statement but he couldn't find any offending words. Mathew was curious the reason behind Nolan's behaviour but he couldn't dare to ask.

"Tell Sean that things at Ihouse have been sped up."

Mathew suddenly felt chills running down his spine as he heard Nolan's deep voice. However, Mathew only nodded his head solemnly. "I got it."

"I shall take my leave, Mr.Carson" Mathew added.

Nolan leaned back to his chair. His brow furrowed slightly as his fingers tapped his desk.

Irony's cafe....

"Please… Bonie, can you forgive me?" Jaden urged with feigned sincerity.

"What do you mean?" Bonie eyed him coldly, her voice coated with frost.

"Bonie, I know you hate me, but I don't want us to be enemies. Would you please give me a chance?" He continued softly.

"Jaden, We are over. There's nothing to be said between us" Bonie spoke blandly. She then grabbed her bag to leave.

But before she spun around to leave, Jaden grabbed her arm tightly from behind. "Bonie! You always acted like a special person. You know that makes me tired of you" Jaden murmured. His voice rage with anger.

With a derisive sneer on Bonie's face, She turned around. "That's why you already found someone. Why are you coming to me again?" Bonie retorted coldly.

After a long silence, Jaden spoke calmly, "Bonie I know I was at fault in that matter, and I know I hurt you. But while we were apart, I realized that it's you I love, not her and I'm really sorry…"

His tone was exceedingly solemn, and his apology sounded very sincere.

Looking right into his eyes, Bonie replied, "Sorry. I don't have feelings for you anymore".

"What happened, Honey?" A familiar voice reached Bonie's ears at that moment.

Nolan sudden appearance caught Bonie off guard, and she was stunned. For unknown reason Bonie felt her heart race when Nolan strode towards them.

"What are you doing here, Honey?" Nolan flashed her a faint smile. She jolted her body slightly when Nolan suddenly wrapped his arm around her waist.

Subsequently, Jaden's sharp gaze shifted from Nolan to Bonie.

"Who is this man?" Fury seemingly colored the look in his eyes as Jaden stared at Bonie.

Bonie simply averted her gaze and pressed her lips in silence.

"Hello, My name is Nolen Carson, Bonie's boyfriend" Nolan introduced with a enigmatic smile. Nolan was in a suit and leather shoes, his appearance marking him as one of the elites in society.

"What are you saying? Man! Get lost" Jaden took a step, wanting to grab the woman to his side, however, Bonie voice halted his movement.

"Don't you heard him! He is my boyfriend. So, Stop pestering me" Bonie glowered at him, her words bereft of emotion.

Bonie mounted the stairs in speed, but the footsteps following her come in same pace with her.

"Can I talk with you?" A hand with the force of a boulder wrapped her right wrist to bring her to a halt.

Bonie shook off her hand and turned to face him. "Thank you for today. But please don't interfere in my personal affairs again".

"Okay. I will not" His gaze tender as he looked at Bonie. Nolan carefully peered into her face. "I got the jacket. Thank you" He added.

Nolan was having a conversation with his client in the cafe. Accidentally his eyes landed on the lady with fierce expression near the corner. His expression darkened when he noticed the man talking with her. Since then he had never taken his eyes off her.
