Yhwach gradually emerged from the abyss of unconsciousness. The sensation of cool water beneath him was the first thing that registered. As he opened his eyes, the world around him was enveloped in darkness, the only source of illumination coming from the faint glow of the water below.
Yhwach: (muttering) Where am I?
He attempted to stand up, his surroundings becoming clearer. The ground beneath him seemed endless, covered in a layer of tranquil, dark water. The air was heavy with an otherworldly stillness.
Yhwach: Zaegar! Where are you?
He called out repeatedly, but there was no response. It was as if the very essence that had guided him, Zaegar, was absent.
Yhwach: This is not the time for your games, Zaegar!
Silence persisted, amplifying the eerie atmosphere. Yhwach felt a strange sense of vulnerability in this unknown realm.
Suddenly, a voice echoed from the shadows.
Voice: Zaegar isn't here, son of the Soul King.
Yhwach swiftly turned around to see the source of the voice. Floating in the darkness behind him was Mimihagi, the right hand of the Soul King.
Yhwach: Mimihagi...
( Picture )
Mimihagi: Yhwach, throughout my extensive observations, I've discerned your profound desire to bestow upon the denizens of this world a life liberated from the shackles of pain, suffering, and emptiness.
Yhwach, still standing in the dimly lit abyss, regarded Mimihagi with a mixture of surprise and suspicion.
Mimihagi continued, its presence exuding an ancient wisdom that seemed to permeate the very fabric of the realm.
Mimihagi: You seek a world free from the burdens that bind its inhabitants. A world untainted by the anguish of pain, the weight of suffering, and the hollow echoes of emptiness.
Yhwach's expression shifted, caught between the acknowledgment of Mimihagi's words and an underlying skepticism.
Yhwach: What do you know of my desires, Mimihagi?
Mimihagi's form seemed to flicker in the darkness, its presence echoing a resonance with Yhwach's innermost thoughts.
Mimihagi: I have been with you, Yhwach, from the moment you absorbed my essence into your being. Our connection transcends the boundaries of mere observation.
Yhwach's eyes widened as the realization settled in. The memory of that pivotal moment resurfaced in his mind—the absorption of Mimihagi during his journey to become the soul king.
Yhwach: Absorbed... you were a part of me?
Mimihagi: Indeed. As the right hand of the Soul King, my purpose is to maintain balance and order. In merging with you, I sought to understand the depth of your conviction and the path you tread.
Mimihagi's presence resonated with an ancient wisdom that seemed to permeate the very fabric of the dimly lit abyss.
Yhwach, absorbing the revelation of their connection, questioned Mimihagi's intentions.
Yhwach: Will you send me back to Night Raid?
Mimihagi, with a serene certainty, responded.
Mimihagi: No, Yhwach. Your purpose in that world is fulfilled. You have eradicated corruption, bringing about a change that was necessary.
Yhwach, still grappling with the mysterious circumstances, pressed further.
Yhwach: Then where are you taking me?
Mimihagi: To a world far different from the one you knew—a realm lost to itself, where its denizens have relinquished hope. The world you are about to enter operates under a different set of rules, more stringent and inflexible than those of the Central 46.
Yhwach, intrigued yet cautious, sought clarification.
Yhwach: What rules govern this world? Where am I headed?
Mimihagi: This world functions in ways unfamiliar to you. It has lost its way, and its inhabitants have surrendered to despair. The rules here are strict, unyielding. They cannot be broken or bent.
Mimihagi: Seeing you in this state reminds me of Jūshirō. That's enough for now. It's time for you to depart the afterlife once again, Yhwach. Many hardships and struggles will come your way, but always bear in mind Stay true to your path.
Yhwach: And what role am I to play in this desolate world?
Mimihagi: Your journey is twofold. First, to understand the depth of despair that has consumed this world. Second, to illuminate a path toward redemption, for even in the darkest abyss, a flicker of hope remains.
Yhwach, standing at the crossroads of revelation and uncertainty, absorbed Mimihagi's words. The weight of his purpose and the impending journey ahead hung in the air.
Yhwach: Despair and redemption... A flicker of hope in the abyss. I accept this path.
Mimihagi, its form resonating with an otherworldly certainty, nodded.
Mimihagi: Your acceptance is the first step. Now, brace yourself, Yhwach.
As Mimihagi's presence intensified, the dimly lit abyss began to morph. The darkness swirled around Yhwach, creating a vortex that enveloped him.
As the vortex spiraled, carrying Yhwach into the unknown, Mimihagi's presence lingered in the fading echoes.
Mimihagi: Stay true to your path, son of the Soul King.
And with that, Yhwach transported away.
Timeskip
Yhwach woke up as he from the ground. He looked at his hands as he confirmed their presence, but the gravity of Mimihagi's revelation sank in. He looked up to see different buildings and weird things on the road moving. He was confused and impressed at the same time.
Yhwach: What is this place?
He asked as he walked forward a little. As Yhwach looked around he saw that people were giving him strange looks. He was looking at the different items of clothing they were wearing.
Civilians walked passed him while giving him weird glances.
Women: What is that man wearing?
A woman asked her husband.
Teenager: Hahahaha, this guy is probably dressing up as some hitler knockoff.
A teenager said.
Yhwach ignored the people that were making fun of him. He looked around for anything that would help him grasp the situation or to at least gain some type of information before progressing.
Yhwach: I need to figure out where I am. What has that schemer done?
He said as he was walking down a sidewalk.
Yhwach walked around endlessly, looking at the weird place he was sent to.
Yhwach: What is this strange and bizarre place? There are eyes everywhere with every turn you take. Children playing amongst each other with smiles and joy. No sign of worry or fear as everyone doesn't look frightened or even remotely scared as they are moving along with their mundane lives. This is unlike anything I've encountered...
He spoke to himself.
Yhwach: I should survey the surroundings first, understand the potential threats before drawing attention to myself.
While lost in thought, Yhwach unintentionally collided with someone.
Girl: Hey! watch where your goi-
The young lady stopped mid-sentence when she gazed up to identify the person who bumped into her. However, upon meeting his gaze, she noticed the intensity of his expression. She became too frightened to complete her sentence, as his glare seemed to wield control over her existence like puppet strings.
Yhwach was uninterested in dealing with her, considering it a hindrance.
Yhwach: Out of my way, child.
Yhwach said as he pushed her aside and kept on walking.
She fell to the ground as she glanced up at him.
Girl: Child?! I'm not a child! Hey! Where do you think you're going? You can't just leave after pushing someone! Why don't you apologize for what you just did!
Yhwach dealt with enough children that were always picking fights where they didn't belong, so he decided ignore her than to converse with someone who will hold no significance to him. He kept on walking, thinking about where he is and what to do.
The young girl couldn't stand him ignoring her, so she got up and caught up to him, getting in front of him. She slammed her hand against his chest to make him stop in his place that caused him to stop. He kept his eyes forward without looking at her.
Girl: What do you think you're doing? Are that heartless to make a simple apology for shoving me to the ground? Do you have some type of stick up your ass or something?
Yhwach's eyes shifted downwards as his left eye that was the only visible eye to be seen narrowed from how annoying this woman was. Yhwach was about to grab her neck and snap it right here to just end this endless annoyance, but he didn't go through with it as this place was all new to him, so if he were to kill here and now, then he wouldn't know the outcome of it.
Girl: Hello? Are you going to apologize or what weirdo? I'm not going to stand here all day and wait for you to do something as I have other important things I can be doing now...
She said.
Yhwach: If you have more important matters, why bother engaging with me? You don't need an apology; if anything, it's I who deserve one as your endless annoyance has angered me just like how children don't know their place. You're acting just like those type of children that always reach to places that they shouldn't.
Yhwach walked up to her that caused her to back up until her back hit against a wall.
She could see how close he was as he hovered over her with the menacing look she saw earlier.
Girl: All I'm asking for is for an apology! You don't have to do this!
Yhwach: I pity the weak, but I despise children like you.
Yhwach turned away from her and left her.
Her teeth clenched tightly upon hearing those words. Abandoning the chase, she instead sprinted towards a nearby church.
Girl: That bastard thinks of me as a child?! I am going to kill him as I will make him bow before me and apologize to me a hundred times before he can die...
She declared as she made her way to the church.
Timeskip
Yhwach made it to a park where there was many people walking passed him as he was sitting down and leaning against a tree with his right knee up and his left laying down. He had his right arm over his right knee that was like a armrest. He was looking towards the center of the park to see many people so happy and joyful.
He closed his eyes and started to meditate.
Yhwach's Subconscious
Yhwach: Rusty relic, where did you take me? what even is this place?
He asked.
Mimihagi: The world you are in holds many nations that either have problems with each other or are under civil war. The place you are in now is called Japan where people have no special talents or abilities such as Spiritual pressure. They all live a peaceful and normal life without having to worry about catastrophic wars, but these people are all lost as they are blissfully ignorant of the looming shadows that conceal the unseen.
Yhwach was still confused about the whole situation.
Yhwach: Why did you bring me here? It resembles a world I once envisioned—a realm without wars, devoid of hatred, and untouched by despair.
Mimihagi: The facade you witness is merely the surface of this realm, much like how others perceive it. The world you see is filled with many disasters, I have sent you here because this world will help you redeem your sins, but also make you view the world in a different light just like Tatsumi and Clementine explained to you. It is completely different from our world.
Yhwach stayed quiet for a few seconds as he didn't want to admit the fact that all the things he has seen and heard has made him think differently.
Yhwach: How is this place different?
He asked.
Mimihagi: You will come to see that on your own as this journey you will begin will shape the world differently with you being here. I am not here to interfere with your journey, but what you do from here will result in having you be removed from Hell and be placed with those who were close to you. Yhwach Son of the soul king... This world is in your hands as it's nothing more than place where all of your sins and crimes placed into one place. Choosing either to wash those sins away from this world or pile more by destroying this world is your choice alone...
Yhwach contemplated on his words.
Mimihagi: Forge the path of your existence according to your own desires. I have transported you here to rectify the wrongs of your past life.
Yhwach: Such generosity on your part, making it sound as if I have no say in the matter.
Yhwach remarked, a touch of displeasure in his tone.
Yhwach turned to the side as the Mimihagi began to speak.
Mimihagi: Life here won't be as straightforward as it was in your previous existence. You're no longer the Quincy king entangled in war with the Shinigamis; now, you'll be a teacher at Kuoh Academy.
Yhwach cast a displeased glance at the Mimihagi after hearing its proposition.
Yhwach: Teaching children? Is this the change you speak of? Living a life without war should be more than dispensing lectures to self-centered fools who care only for themselves. That's the nature of children.
He expressed his irritation.
Mimihagi: Yhwach, your perception of others as weaklings who can't fight for themselves is limited. You must embrace a different perspective on life and, perhaps more importantly, rediscover the ability to love.
Yhwach chuckled a little before it turned into full blown laughter at hearing him say to love again.
( Picture )
Yhwach's laughter echoed in the depths of his subconscious, a sound both bitter and filled with disdain.
Yhwach: Love? You speak as if I am some heartless monster incapable of such emotions. Love has brought nothing but pain and betrayal in my past. Why should I seek it now?
Mimihagi's response was unwavering.
Mimihagi: Love is not a weakness, Yhwach. It has the power to heal, to inspire, and to bring about positive change. Your past experiences may have tainted your perception, but this world offers a chance for redemption and a new understanding of the connections that bind individuals.
Yhwach's eyes narrowed, contemplating the words of Mimihagi. The prospect of embracing emotions he had long considered irrelevant presented a challenge, and perhaps, an opportunity for growth.
Yhwach: Redemption, understanding, and love... You speak as if these are easy tasks. Do you think I can simply cast aside the shadows that have defined my existence?
Mimihagi: It is not about casting aside, but facing and overcoming those shadows. The journey ahead will test your resolve, and the choices you make will shape the destiny of this world.
Mimihagi: Change is inevitable, Yhwach. Rest assured, I have arranged everything to facilitate your transition in this new world. You now have your own apartment. However, beyond that, you'll have to earn your keep, as I expended a significant amount of my power to send you here discreetly and integrate you as a citizen of Japan.
Yhwach's expression shifted, a mix of reluctance and curiosity flickering in his eyes. The realization that he was now a part of a world he had once only observed from the shadows started to settle in.
Yhwach: You've orchestrated quite the elaborate plan, Mimihagi.
Mimihagi: Once you've fully experienced life here and lived out your days, your suffering in this world will come to an end. Consider it a form of retribution for your past actions.
Yhwach: My punishment began the moment The Soul King resurrected me.
Back to Reality
Yhwach: Curse that Rusty relic.
Yhwach opened up his eyes to see it's completely dark out.
Yhwach stood up and went to his apartment that the Rusty relic bestowed him with. After walking for some time and being lost for quite some time, he finally found his room and went straight in to go lay down on his bed.
Yhwach: We will just have to see what this Rusty relic was saying at how different this world is.
He said as he drifted off to sleep.
Timeskip
Yhwach awoke, rising from his bed. The remnants of the Rusty Relic had left some books on the table, catching his attention. After a quick wash in the bathroom, Yhwach picked up the books, exited his apartment, and examined the map of Kuoh.
This was something he absolutely hated as he had to teach a bunch of students lessons. Yhwach was accustomed to handling things on his own without involving others, , but him having to teach students wasn't on his to do list.
He was intrigued by all these new things he has never seen before in his entire life, he never saw houses that look liked fortresses. It was surprisingly calm and he could sense that there wasn't anyone ready to attack him like in the Soul Society. It felt odd to him on how peaceful this place was as no one recognized him or know about his past.
Yhwach was walking down the road to the school as he looked at the books he was carrying.
Yhwach: Japanese history, is that what I'm teaching? History, a domain where my expertise excels, plays a crucial role in shaping the future by avoiding the mistakes of the past.
Without much delay, he approached the school he was suppose to teach at and looked at all the students. He was surprised that most of the students are females, there were rarely any males at his school.
He started to walk to the office of the school, but as he was heading over there, he heard some of the females talking about him that he ignored.
Useless Female: Oh, my god, is he a student? He looks so hot.
One of the females said.
Horny Teenager: I don't know and I hope not.
A boy said.
Angry Boy: Piss off you fucking piece of shit.
A boy said with anger.
Yhwach ignored them and kept on walking.
Rias: Akeno, do you feel that?
Rias asked her Queen.
Akeno: Yes, Rias, Do you think he has a Sacred Gear?
Akeno asked with a smile.
Rias looked out the window as she began to wonder on who just entered her school.
Rias: Maybe, we will just have to see how it plays out.
Rias said.
Yhwach made it to the office as he passed all those students who were glancing over at him constantly. He walked in.
Yhwach: Is this the head office?
He asked with a blank expression.
Principal: Indeed it is, please take a seat.
Yhwach did as he was asked.
Principal: So you are the new teacher we heard so much about.
The Principal said.
Yhwach: You must have received quite a bit of information about me, haven't you? How much did that scoundrel reveal to you?
The Principle was confused on what he was asking him. He could see how intense his eyes were by asking that question.
Principal: W-Who are you talking a-about, s-sir? It says here on your resume that you have studied abroad for a few years and you have been recommended by a very important person in the educational world. Nothing much is said here about you.
He explained.
Yhwach's expression quickly shifted as he wasn't expecting hear that. The answer was painfully clear that the Mimihagi helped out with everything. His background, power, and identity all have been kept quiet.
Yhwach: Let's just get this useless thing over with.
Principal: Oh, yes, here is your schedule and rule book of the school. You will be teaching class 2-B and everything you need will be provided for you here at the school. You may go now.
Yhwach stood up and left for his classroom.
The classroom where he was gonna teach became rowdy and very talkative.
Student: Hey, who do you think our new teacher is going to be?
a student asked as he was sitting on his desk.
Aika: Don't know and I don't care.
Aika said while reading a book.
Matsuda: Yo Issei, do you know who it is?
Matsuda asked.
Issei: No, but I hope it's a hot teacher with big tits.
Issei said as he closed his eyes thinking about it.
Girl: Pervert.
A girl said.
The door slid open very slowly and Yhwach walked with a very impassive expression while he looked towards the students who were all acting like children. He didn't bother saying anything as began to write his name on the board, but someone raised their hand to ask a question, causing Yhwach to spin around quickly, throwing the chalk like a Bullet that nearly hit the students hand, but he managed to lower his hand quickly enough.
Everyone was shocked to see that he nearly killed someone with a piece of chalk.
Yhwach: Old habits.
Yhwach said without emotion.
The students quickly regained their composure's and they were surprised to see a old man as there teacher.
Yhwach: My name is, Yhwach Quincy, I will be teaching this class from now on about Japanese history. If you have any questions ask now.
Yhwach said.
No one raised their hands because of the earlier incident.
Yhwach: Alright, we can begin class now.
Yhwach opened up his book. He was confused when he saw all these new things he never saw before in his life.
Yhwach: (In thought ) Time to improvise.
Yhwach: Turn to page sixty-five.
He said and he started to walk around the class. Everyone did as they were told and they flipped to page sixty-five.
Matsuda: Hey, Issei, who the fuck is this guy?
Matsuda asked in a whispered tone. Issei looked at him and he shrugged his shoulders.
Issei: I don't know.
Yhwach overheard the conversation, approached the source, and smacked Issei with the book.
Yhwach: Is this world full of childish individuals? Always meddling in affairs they shouldn't be involved in. If I had my way, I'd eliminate every person resembling you, boy.
Issei: You can't just hit a student. Teachers are not allowed to do such a thing.
Issei said.
Yhwach didn't listen and he smacked him again.
Issei: HEY!
He yelled this time. Yhwach turned around and started to walk to the front of the class until someone threw a book at him.
Yhwach didn't look away from his book and he caught it. The entire class was shocked.
Yhwach: If there's anyone else itching to act foolish or disrupt the class, step forward now. Know this – if anyone repeats such behavior in the future, the consequences will be severe. Unlike other lecturers, I won't show mercy.
He said as he looked around the class.
No one did anything.
Yhwach: Good, let us get back to our studies now.
After the class has ended everyone went to go get lunch and some went to go do perverted things.
Yhwach kept on reading the book more as he needed to learn more about this nation he was in. He was intrigued by the book. He never knew that Japan had multiple wars or it had an Emperor.
He was interrupted by a student at his door.
Student: Excuse me, are you Mr. Quincy?
The student asked.
Yhwach: Yes, and who are you?
Yhwach asked as he closed the book.
Kiba: Sorry, my name is Yuuto Kiba.
He said.
Yhwach: Your name is of no concern to me. State your purpose.
Yhwach asked.
Kiba wanted to keep a good expression.
Kiba: Well, my club President wants to speak with you.
Yhwach stood up.
Yhwach: I'm not one for idle chatter, but if you must, lead the way.
Kiba nodded and gestured for him to follow.
As they approached the door, Kiba opened it and the both of them walked in.
Rias: Hello, Mr. Quincy. Please take a seat.
Rias said as Akeno blushed at how handsome he looked and Koneko just had a neutral expression.
Yhwach had no intention of sitting again, but he also didn't want to indulge in unnecessary pleasantries.
Yhwach: I prefer standing.
He said.
Rias: Alright then, do you know why I called you here?
She asked.
Yhwach: If you had someone fetch me and bring me here, and now you ask why I'm here, it speaks volumes about your wisdom. It's akin to me snapping your neck and then questioning if you understand why. I've grown weary of being ordered around, so let's conclude this pointless conversation.
Yhwach stated with a bored expression, crossing his arms.
Rias was a little embarrassed and a little mad at what he said.
Rias: That doesn't matter now, do you know about the supernatural?
She asked.
Yhwach: Supernatural?
Rias: I mean beings like Devils, Angels, and Fallen Angels.
She clarified.
Yhwach: I see... no, I'm not familiar with the supernatural. Why do you ask?
Yhwach inquired.
Rias looked at him to see if he was lying, but the way he was standing along with his rock solid expression was hard to tell if he was or not.
Rias: Well, I have felt that there is something strange about you. Do you own a Sacred Gear?
Rias asked.
Yhwach: Sacred what?
Yhwach asked.
Rias: If you don't know what a Sacred Gear is, then what are you?
Rias asked.
Yhwach: I am purely human. What kind of foolish questions are you throwing at me, woman?
He responded.
Rias: They are not foolish questions!
Rias raised her voice a little.
Akeno: Ara ara, There is no way you are human.
Akeno said.
Yhwach: I am human and nothing will change that.
Rias looked over to Kiba and Kiba nodded. Kiba pulled out his sword and charged at Yhwach.
Kiba swung down with his sword, and Yhwach effortlessly caught it with one hand.
Yhwach: Is this how you greet guests here? If you initiate an attack, be prepared for a response.
He said as he knocked the sword out of his hands and he grabbed his neck.
Kiba was struggling to get out of his grip.
Rias: Let him go, Mr. Quincy.
But Yhwach didn't obey her command as his grip tightened. Kiba began to flail his hands and feet around to try to get out of his grip.
Yhwach: He initiated the attack, and I had to respond. It's a little thing called self-defense. Common knowledge dictates that if someone attempts to harm you, you defend yourself. You're suggesting I let him go after he attempted to strike first? That's sheer foolishness, thinking I'd spare someone who sought to take my life.
Rias: We were only testing out if you were actually human or not.
Rias said. Yhwach let go of Kiba and he fell to the ground holding his throat while coughing as well.
Akeno: No human could catch his sword like that, you have to be something at least.
Akeno said.
Yhwach resumed crossing his arms.
Yhwach: If you claim I'm not human, what does that make you?
Rias and her peerage looked at each other, then they all looked at him.
Rias: We are Devils.
Rias said.
Yhwach stared at them.
Yhwach: You must be joking.
He asked. Rias and the rest of them spread their wings.
Rias: I'm afraid not.
She said.
Yhwach: (In thought) So, the Rusty Relic wasn't joking about this world being different. Interesting.
He thought.
Yhwach: This has become even more intriguing than I anticipated... That scheming fool placed me in a world filled with liars and peculiar creatures unknown to humans.
He said as he walked out of the club room.
Rias: HEY! Where do you think you're going?
Rias asked, but she didn't get a response.
Akeno looked over towards Rias.
Akeno: Do you think he will rat us out?
Rias: I hope not.
Rias said.
Timeskip
Yhwach walked home, engrossed in the book he had used during the class.
Yhwach: This is truly intriguing.
He said, genuinely captivated.
Girl: Will you go out with me?
A girl asked.
Yhwach looked up from his book to see Issei and the girl he bumped into earlier.
Issei: Are you fucking kidding? Of course, I will.
Issei said.
Gir: Alright, here is my number.
She gave him her number and she started to run off.
Issei: Wait, what is your name?
He asked.
She stopped and turned around.
Yuuma: Yuuma Amano.
She said as she turned back around and ran again.
Issei was jumping up and down, he turned around quickly not realizing who he bumped into.
Issei: Watch where you go-
Issei looked up and stopped what he was gonna say. Yhwach's cold gaze could freeze time by looking into his eyes from how cold and distant they looked. It was like looking at a God who was looking down at humans with that stance and gaze, but Issei didn't know what to do after bumping into him.
Yhwach: Why don't you finish that sentence, brat? Or maybe I should finish it for you.
Yhwach suggested, his tone sharp and authoritative.
Issei: No, sir, I will watch where I go next time.
Issei said as he marched off like a soldier. Yhwach just stared at him.
Yhwach: Children seem to be ever-present, no matter where you go... Am I right, Yamamoto?
He muttered, gazing up at the sun. Returning his attention to the book, Yhwach resumed his walk. At a crosswalk, he came to a halt.
Girl: Look who showed up! It's the guy who can't and won't apologize to me for shoving me to the ground. I don't know why you are here of all places, but if you're here, then I guess you can try to apologize to me again.
Yhwach didn't bother looking away from his book.
Yhwach: And you're the woman who won't stop talking.
He remarked, casually turning a page.
She wasn't even surprised to hear him say that to her.
Girl: Why don't you just apologize and we will go our separate ways? It shouldn't be so hard to say two simple words. I don't know what problems you have, but you will force me to act if you don't apologize to me for what you did.
Yhwach didn't want to deal with her anymore as he looked straight at her.
Yhwach: What's that?
He pointed behind her. She looked behind her and saw nothing, so she turned back around to see him completely gone.
Yhwach: I am surrounded by idiots.
Yhwach said as he kept on walking and was stopped by a group of thugs.
Thug: Where do you think you're going, huh?
Yhwach didn't look away from his book.
Yhwach: I am just going home, so move out of the way.
Thug: Seems like we got a tough one here boys. You forgot to say please.
The thug tried to punch him, but he just moved his head back and the thug just punched his buddy.
Thug: Why you...
The thug tried to punch him again, but his hand was caught. Yhwach still didn't look away from his book.
Yhwach: Why do arrogant people seek to annoy those who haven't wronged them? Perhaps their insignificance in society drives them to leave an impression by harming those beneath them. Or maybe it's the realization of their absolute worthlessness in the eyes of millions, to the extent that the world doesn't care about them at all.
He asked as he broke the thug's arm.
The second thug pulled out a knife and he tried to stab him, but he was disarmed.
Thug #2: What the Hell?!
Yhwach grabbed the knife and stabbed him straight in the neck.
The last thug ran away, screaming for his life. Yhwach turned the page and he started to walk again.
Yhwach: How unsightly. They weren't worthy dance partners.
Unbeknownst to him, the girl observed the entire incident. Upon reaching his residence, he unlocked the door and entered.
Yhwach: A tiresome day, but tomorrow promises to be even more challenging.
He set down his books and glanced at the corner of his room, noticing something unexpected.
He walked over to it and saw a letter sitting on it.
You will be needing this for the upcoming future
Yhwach stared at the Zanpakutō in disbelief, his eyes narrowing as he read the letter again. The unexpected presence of Zaegar and the revelation that this Zanpakuto was crafted by him left Yhwach in a state of shock.
Yhwach: Zaegar...
The moment he uttered the name, a resonating voice echoed in his mind.
Zaegar: Sup, Yhwach? Long time no see. Did you miss me?
Yhwach clenched his fists, his expression a mix of annoyance and frustration.
Yhwach: What trickery is this? I thought you were supposed to be gone forever.
Zaegar: Gone forever? Nah, you can't get rid of me that easily. I'm a part of you, Yhwach, your Inner Darkness. And now, thanks to Mimihagi's little adventure, I've got a physical form.
Yhwach: Physical form?
Yhwach looked at the Zanpakuto again, noticing its ominous aura. It was not Ichigo's Zangetsu it was something entirely different.
Zaegar: Yeah, this beauty is your own Zanpakuto, forged by yours truly. It's time for us to have some fun together, Yhwach.
Yhwach's eyes narrowed as he gripped the Zanpakuto. The resonance between him and Zaegar was palpable, and he could feel the immense power emanating from the blade.
Yhwach: What do you want, Zaegar?
Zaegar: Oh, just a bit of chaos, a dash of destruction, you know, the good stuff. We're going to have a blast in this new world.

Yhwach: This is not what I signed up for.
Zaegar: Life's full of surprises, Yhwach. Embrace the chaos.
