After days of preparation, the day of the wedding had arrived. Of all the Kage invited only the Raikage had come, and with his arrival the dozens of women he had sent stopped their mission, showing that Mito's plan was working.

The wedding, though fake, had been advertised as a huge event throughout Konoha. All the clans had been invited, making it the biggest event of the current era, at least for Konoha. "Wish me luck," I sighed looking at my best men, Kagami, Orochimaru and Jiraiya.

"You don't need luck," Jiraiya grinned, he was surprisingly happy considering I was marrying his crush, "I have prepared you for a life full of boobs, by showing you the best boobs of Konoha during your bachelor's party!"

"You showed him the boobs of all the strippers in Konoha," Orochimaru sighed, rolling his eyes in annoyance.

"Meh, one of them had to be the best," Jiraiya shrugged, wiggling his eyebrows in a disturbing way.

"Statistically that makes no sense, but I have learned to ignore your stupidity," Orochimaru cracked a smile.

"Fuck you," Jiraiya smirked.

"See what I have to deal with?" Orochimaru sighed, ignoring the fuming pervert.

"Meh, I'd seen worse," I chuckled, Hirzuen was worse at times.

"You mean sensei? Yes I am aware," Orochimaru nodded.

"I am STILL HERE!" Jiraiya shouted.

"We are aware, ignoring you is surprisingly hard… you are like a sun of stupidity, impossible to avoid…" Orochimaru sighed.

"This is fun and all, but I am getting married, and you two fighting is only delaying the last preparations," I reminded them.

"Fine… I will kick your ass later orochi-teme," Jiraiya grinned.

"Sorry you said something?" Orochimaru tilted his head, pretending he had not heard a word of what Jiraiya had said.

At times like this I wonder, when did the normal portion of my life became hanging out with Orochimaru the creepiest Naruto character and Jiraiya the most perverted one, I miss the days where a normal day was reading a book or playing some games, "Before you two start fighting, let's finish the preparations shall we?"

"Fine," Jiraiya nodded, his eyes on Orochimaru who simply nodded at my request.

[Tsunade POV]

When Grandma Mito said I was going to marry Raiden I assumed she was saying when I was older. I was wrong, though in her defense this wedding was to protect Raiden from the whores of the other nations. But even then, Grandma Mito said… to take advantage of this situation, to win his heart once and for all.

I liked Raiden, I liked him a lot… but did I love him? Maybe, I wasn't sure, love is a very complex emotion, but what I did know was that I liked him, so… maybe Grandma Mito was onto something, maybe this was my chance to see if what I felt was more than a childish crush.

"Are you ready?" Grandma Mito asked.

"I am," I nodded, giving her a nervous smile.

"I remember the day I married your grandpa," Granma Mito smiled, "He was so strong… and yet so innocent, you should've seen him, the god of shinobi… looking like a lost puppy, it was kinda endearing… seeing such a strong man, so lost in the battlefield we women reign supreme."

"But how did you know if you loved him?" I asked, my fingers fidgeting.

"Darling, love is built… I didn't love your grandpa before I married him, I hardly knew the man, but with time… that powerful puppy invaded my heart," Grandma Mito smiled, "At least you like Raiden both as a person and as a man, that's fifty percent of what you need to build love, the rest? Experiences…"

"So you're saying love at first sight doesn't exist?" I asked.

At this Grandma started to laugh, "Oh… no, that doesn't exist, maybe infatuation at first sight, but love? Love is built like a house… it can be strong or weak, it all depends on the materials and foundation you use to build that love."

"I like him a lot, in all honesty he is the only man in the village I find attracting, and he's also my best friend," I chuckled, "I guess I'm half way through… like you said."

"Don't rush things, you will know the moment you fall in love… and that day priorities will switch for the both of you," Grandma Mito smiled, "Now let's do your makeup."

[A - Third Raikage - POV]

Raiden, I had seen what the brat had done, but never seen the brat himself… and as the reports said, he was strong… too strong, his power already reached that of the kage, and while I had no doubts I could take him on, I knew it would be no easy task.

Immorality, the power to raise the dead… and various bloodlines within him, it was no surprise he survived the Mizukage, the brat was built to last.

Too bad we couldn't farm his genes before this stupid wedding, I suppose it was naive thought, to think he would fall for such a trick, but it was worth a shot.

"I have confirmed our monetary gift to be above all of the other gifts the other Kage sent," B informed me, why was I interested in such information? Well, in 'peace' times this was a power move, the bigger the gift the more power the village was showing, and Kumo was not about to be outdone by anyone.

"Good, keep checking just in case we have to add some extra money to the gift," I ordered him, it was no secret Mu, and Gengetsu were trying to outdone each other and me, so I would stay vigilant… because even though they were not here, they representatives had clear orders to not let the others outdone their villages.

"As you wish," B nodded, walking over to the gift section.

"Raikage," That voice, Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage, "I am happy that at least one of the Kage came to the wedding,"

"I had no reason to deny such an invitation, after all, we are at peace… right?" I replied.

"That we are," Hiruzen nodded, "Well… if you excuse me, I have to put my gift with the others." Hiruzen was a smart man, a troubling smart man, which is why he had 'unintentionally' showed me how much money he was giving the couple before going to the gift section, the bastard knew I wasn't going to let anyone outdone Kumo… and had intentionally started a conversation so that I would inspect him, and notice his gift was twice as big as ours.

"That bastard…" if the Hokage wanted a gift war, he would get one!
