S2 Ch 16 (Ch 104) : A strong foe

" I..."

Temujin was silenced. He really didn't know what to say.

In fact, he had discovered some strangeness in Haido and the others, but he just chose to believe what he wanted to believe.

Sanada's words seemed to be able to shake his will, and he now began to question everything.

' Was it true? Was everything I did until now was just deceiving myself...'

But before Temujin could find his answer, a punch came to his abdomen.

BAMM!!!

Sanada pucnhed Temujin and threw him to the wall.

It was so sudden that Temujin wasn't able to react.. Well, not that he could react if he knew it was coming though.

Temujin raised his head, and he saw Sanada was also looking back at him.

" Now, Mr. Knight, we don't have that much time in our hands. For both our benefits, why don't we just get to the point? Bring us to your "owner", and everything will be good."

" You-"

Temujin wanted to refute, but he realized that the power gap between the two was something that he couldn't cross easily.

In his last resort, Temujin ran away from the sank ship, leaving Sanada and the other in the shipwreck.

" Sensei, do you need to be that harsh? Don't you find him a bit pitiable.." Temari came from the side as she asked this answer to Sanada.

" Humph, he is already kind enough. If it is this young master, then I would have kicked him a few more times..." Said Sasuke as he looked smug.

" Let's just ignore this guy.."

The other genins nodded at each other.

The other genins also thought the same, but because Sanada was in his disguise, Temari was the only one close enough to Sanada to ask this question.

Sanada looked at Temari, and with a sigh, he said:

" Temari, you are kind, I know that. But you must remember. To be kind to your enemy is to be cruel to yourself."

The atmosphere turned very cold as Sanada said that. The Genin wanted to refute, but they didn't know what to say. Even Sasuke could only fall in silence as he knew what Sanada said indeed made some sense.

In this kind of atmosphere, only one person wasn't affected by the mood.

" Umm.. I don't really understand. But.. In my opinion, everyone deserves a second chance. You might be a monster, an evil, or a demon king, but if you want to turn for the good, then you deserve to be forgiven! Or that's what I was taught by my Sensei!"

Everyone turned their head around to see that it was none either than Naruto.

With Naruto's words, everyone's spirit seemed to be lifted a bit, and even Sanada who even though on the outside displayed a tough front, was secretly modded approvingly on the inside.

' Hehe, it seems that you have grown a bit during the few months I have gone, Naruto.'

Fast forward, the group runs to follow Temujin as he confronts Haido.

A few conflicts happened here and there between Temujin and Haido, and in the end, the group was led toward the Gelel Stone mine, where in the movie, Haido Naruto and Temujin would have their final battle.

Everything happened just like in the movie plot until now, and Sanada was ready to take the harvest of the huge amount of Gelel stone.

Sanada was observing the battle between Naruto, Temujin, and Haido from afar with Temari next to him.

But then, something that had never crossed Sanada's mind happened.

Right in front of him was a not unfamiliar figure to him.

He had greyish-blue unkempt short, spiky hair, which he wore in a ponytail. Like other members of his clan, Urashiki had brown horns that grew from the back of his head and wrapped around to his forehead, with a small gap in-between them.

" No way... Urashiki. How could he.."

" Ara? Do you know me? But I don't think I have met you.."

Before Sanada could even react, Urashiki had disappeared from his sight and reappeared right next to him.

" Hmmm? Just an ant, you seem a bit stronger than the other here, but you are still far compared to that black-haired emo!"

BAMM!!!!

A kick was launched at Sanada, which he was unable to react.

Sanada flew back a few meters before hitting a huge rock as he vomited some blood from his mouth.

All of this happened in just a split second, and Sanada still couldn't believe just how weak he was compared to Urashiki.

Luckily, his disguise was from the system. If not, his identity would have been discovered by everyone now.

" You.. how? Shouldn't you have been killed by.."

" Hahahaha, do you really believe that I could be killed by some little kids like them? I have just given them the illusion that they have defeated me. But that battle has really gotten some tolls on me. Right now, I'm only capable of displaying no more than 10% of my original strength."

" .... "

Sanada was silenced by this revelation.

Indeed, there was something suspicious about Naruto and Boruto defeating Urashiki, but because it was just a filler in the anime, Sanada had never thought too much about it.

It just appeared into his mind that things might get really serious after he transmigrated into Naruto world.

" You, what are you doing to Sensei!!!"

Temari on the side watched Sanada was thrashed, and her temper got into her head.

She activated her wind-style chakra armor and rushed in Urashiki's direction.

" Wait, Temari!! Don't!!!"

Sanada tried to remind Temari Urashiki was not someone she could handle, but it was all too late. Temari had already arrived in front of Urashiki to hit him, but Urashiki was way faster.
