Chapter 28: Illuminati

Catherine arrived at a temple of some sort, it looking newly built and being warded with methods from both the Sage Lands and Kamar Taj.

Catherine performed a complicated spell before the forcefield around the temple receded slightly and allowed her entry, though it closed itself once more after she entered.

Catherine then entered into the Main Hall of the Temple, with it being adorned with a gigantic round table that had 4 chairs of varying sizes around it, with the chairs being set for the newfound council that Catherine had created.

Inspired by the Avengers and Justice League of the comics she read in her past life, worked with the Leaders of the Sage Lands to create the newly found Illuminati, a group that would consist of old but powerful beings to defend the world from any threats that may come to the Shinobi World.

The idea came from her old life's theory of those who control the world and the individuals in Marvel's variation who did the same.

Portals opened in 3 other parts of the room, with the White Snake Sage, a small version of Katsuyu, and Gamamaru emerged from them, with them each taking a seat in their designated chairs.

"I assume this meeting is about the strangeness in the Human World over the past few years, as well as the beast that was ravaging the lands?" Katsuyu began the meeting by asking.

Catherine then spent the time filling them in on Kaguya and what she knew of the Otsutsuki Clan, as well as the danger they posed to their world.

She then finally looked over to Gamamaru as she knew he seemed to know of some of these facts before she began speaking about the children of Kaguya.

The fact that such a dangerous being had children living on the planet alarmed Izzy, with her growing fierce as she spoke.

"I say that we eliminate the children of the creature as well. If we don't wipe out every inch of such a threat, we would only be opening ourselves up for greater threats in the future."

"I disagree strongly. I have personally met and taught those boys, and I guarantee that they are not evil in any sense. I could not sense any form of malicious intent from them, with them both having a pure and noble heart." Gamamaru told them as he vehemently disapproved of the idea of the two being harmed, as he had foreseen that destiny would greatly follow the two.

"Perhaps we should observe them, as their strength could be valuable in the coming battle with the Otsutsuki. And with us always being unprepared for their attacks, having more powerful allies could be for the best." Katsuyu added to the conversation, with her feeling that both sides had great merit.

"I agree with Katsuyu, us keeping the brothers at a close distance would allow us to monitor them while also better understanding them. It would also give us two additional members that could join the Illuminati, something I don't feel is unwise." Catherine added, with the majority rule made their decision be the one that was decided.

The group then talked about various different ideas and issues that ranged from dealing with the damage that it could cause to the world, to how the new addition of chakra may affect the world around them.

But in the end, the group decided against making any moves in the world, with them maintaining the secrecy they had before, while also promising not to stop the great change in the world that was coming, with each of them able to feel it.
