Naruto System in a World of Systems

All around the world everyone heard a language they didn’t recognize, but understood. It informed them of the integration of systems into earths populace via a higher power. Individuals were offered countless systems to choose from. And in America, where mostly everyone chose Marvel or DC systems our protagonist chose the Naruto System. Disclaimer - I wouldn’t say I’m an expert of Naruto, I’m just writing for fun. So if someone finds something wrong with what I’ve written please inform me.

[Awakening Sharingan]

[Congratulations on Being the First Person in the World to Awaken the Sharingan!]

[Awarding: 10,000 system points]

David is staring at Lucas's body as the system rings out in succession. His eyes dye red showing a single tomoe around the pupil. He quickly asks the system while grabbing the knife in front of him, "How do I upgrade my Sharingan's tomoe number?" The system responds, [Host can upgrade Sharingan by using system points, or repeated usage of the Sharingan. 5,000 points are needed for the first upgrade.]

"Upgrade the Sharingan!"

David's single tomoe begins spinning rapidly and reaches a speed where you can't follow it anymore. As it slows down two tomoe are now visible on opposite sides of the pupil. He feels like he can slightly anticipate the movements of the fish men. David clutches tightly to the knife as the fish men draw nearer.

As one comes close and stabs out at him, David follows the trajectory and sidesteps. He comes in close to the fish man and stabs into its gut with the kitchen knife. The fish man falls back screeching out as it dies slowly. The other fish men turn their attention towards David and begin advancing on him.

Slowly they encircle him and David has no way out. As one stabs out David sidesteps again and slashes out dealing minimal damage. This type of exchange continues until a fish behind David stabs towards his leg, piercing it. The fish men just stare at David while he screams out at them, "End it! I dare you!" The fish men's dead eyes show no sign of understanding.

Yet they fulfill David's wish, a fish man steps out from the encirclement and unsheathes it's knife. David looks on, sad that he'll never get to see his mom again. At least he avenged Lucas. The fish man closes in on him. David says his prayers looking to the sky.

A crackling sound bursts out and lightning arcs from farther up the beach. It chains through the fish men leaving them blackened and dead. David is absolutely surprised thinking that was the end for him.

"Nice stand kid! I came as soon as I heard about the fish men." A bearded life guard calls out to him.

The shock and despair of Lucas's death closes in on David. He begins silently weeping. Concerned the lifeguard walks up to him only to see the corpse of Lucas behind him. He understands.

"Hey, there's no use in crying. It won't bring him back. Get stronger so you can protect the ones you love." He pauses. "I've lost good friends too. Not all the life guards started out as strong as me, I just got lucky. We lost a few good people on the first day."

David wipes his tears standing up. "Thank you, it's just hard." The lifeguard smiles and says, "I know. Remember him for the times you had together, not the time you lost him."

David gives out a faint smile and replies, "Thank you, by the way what system did you awaken? You seem... I don't know... OP."

The life guard laughs out, "I awoke the powers of Electro for my random superpower! Although I'm just at the initial stage, my power is rather frightening." He rubs his beard before speaking again, "I hope criminals didn't awaken powerful abilities like mine. Although that's the police's problem not ours."

David and the life guard talk for a small time and David learns his name is Gerald. Gerald bandages Davids leg then they carry Lucas's body to the outpost recently set up for incidents like these. Back at the main beach, David pays his last respects. He will visit Lucas's family as per his last wish tomorrow. It's a Saturday so he will have the time to do so.

David limps to the bus stop and heads home. He hides his injury from his mom and speaks little during dinner. Afterwards he spends 300 of his remaining 6,400 system points for the three base ninjutsu. Transformation, clone, and substitution jutsu. He spends the rest of the night until bed practicing these, determined to get stronger. So that such a thing as today never happens again.
