Chapter 13: The might of a genius!

"Rasenyari!" Oden shouted as he shot a spiraling chakra spear made of fire toward Kinkaku.

He shot it from a distance because when he put fire transformation in his Rasenyari it became very explosive so he shot it from a distance not because he wanted to swallow Kinkaku's body in the explosion, but because he wanted the explosion to shoot Kinkaku far away from this place so they could fight to their heart's content.

And it worked, the Rasenyari started blowing up as gigantic, spiraling flames started exploding before they reached Kinkaku, making him fly hundreds of meters from his initial position.

The explosive was so great that about 5 meters away, the trio of Konoha and ginkaku felt the shockwave.

Turning around they found a big flame had destroyed 3 hundred meters of ground, straight away from them.

All of them became slightly pale, but the trio relaxed as they noticed that Oden was fine and dandy.

'That's definitely an S-rank jutsu... but I don't recognize it, is it an original?' Shikaku thought to himself in surprise.

All of them had similar thoughts.

Oden simply flickered toward Kinkaku that lay In the dirt, half his body had burnt away, but suddenly as if he was made of paper his body came back together.

"You're strong, child of the Zaraki clan, are you the next head?" Kinkaku asked.

"I'm the current head," Oden said as he looked down toward Kinkaku.

Kinkaku stood up with a grin, raised his feathered fan, and shot a big flame toward Oden.

Although his flame was the same size as Oden's own fire Rasenyari, the quality between those two differed greatly.

Oden felt the fire near him so he raised his hand and shot a big waterfall from his mouth towards the flame.

Although Oden isn't as good with water jutsus, he just needs to pump more chakra into the Justus to make it bigger and stronger.

The big sea of flames and the big sea of water crashed into each other, creating a hot mist that obscured the view.

However, Oden could still feel the chakra of his enemy and knew exactly where he was.

As for Kinkaku, he saw his chance and shot another attack from his fan, which was an ancient treasure that could shoot all the elements.

This time, however, Kinkaku chose a lightning attack that soared through the most and reached Oden instantly.

Realizing what was going on, Oden raised his hands and made a sign, then he blew out a gigantic wind that blew away the mist.

Since the lightning traveled through the most, they were mostly also blown away. Sadly, it was too late and some of the light ong hit him, and Oden flew a dozen meters back.

Looking down at his burned shinobi armor, Oden frowned.

He had green armor similar to that of Madara and Hashirama, with black undergarments. On his back was the kanji for eternity inside a red circle.

On his front was a Konoha leaf with a darker shade of green, which had been burnt away from the attack.

Oden was ready to attack, until he felt the Kumo soldiers nearing.

'In about ten minutes we'll have Kumo shinobi here, how long until you're done with the seals Anbu-san.' Oden thought.

'About ten minutes as well.' He heard inside his head.

Oden suddenly raised his hand and called for Emma.

Enma had stood behind, ready to support Oden, however, he was shocked as he found Oden not needing his help.

Suddenly he heard Oden call for him, and Emma came out of his stupor and jumped towards Oden, turning into a staff.

Oden caught Enma and swung the staff towards Kinkaku while Enma grew longer in his staff form until he turned 30 or so meters.

At that length, the force of the tip of the staff multiplied, and as Kinkaku got smacked he flew almost a hundred meters as he dropped his fan.

Oden was shocked at the power of the staff.

'The longer it becomes, the greater force it has.' Oden thought to himself.

Enma was also shocked, Oden had great technique with bukijutsu.

'It's not all about the size, but also the technique.' Enma thought to himself

Oden flickered to where the fan was dropped and picked it up.

He felt that the treasure could enforce his attacks with different elements.

Swinging it around casually he couldn't help but to be impressed by it.

"It's my turn to use treasure weapons against you!" Oden said annoyed.

"I think you've already used me against him though?" Enma quipped in, letting Oden know his opinion.

"You're a living being that can turn into a weapon, not a treasured weapon that has magical powers, big difference!" Oden explained.

"But I also have magical powers..." Enma almost felt underestimated.

Oden just ignored him and Fran closer to Kinkaku.

As he arrived, he found Kinkakus's face regenerating.

"If you had been alive, I would have killed you multiple times already." Oden said with a smirk, slightly unimpressed by the well-known Kinkaku.

"Luckily for me, I'm dead, and I can't die again... this will only become harder for you as I can't lose stamina nor chakra." Kinkaku said, but stopped himself as he stood up and saw Oden, remembering that Oden had the same abilities with his eternal Mugengan.

"At least my brother won't lose out to you guys!" Kinkaku said with faith in his brother's abilities.

Oden simply gazed back and trusted in his companion's abilities.

"Yada Yada, less talking, more dancing!" Oden said with a smirk as he jumped down toward Kinkaku with a staff in one hand and a fan in another.

They fought in close combat for a while. Oden enjoyed his fight as Kinkaku was really good and didn't lose stamina. They could fight without worry.

In the end, Kinkaku used his golden rope treasure to hit Enma away, making it fly far away.

Unbeknownst to Kinkaku, Oden had commanded Enma to find a good time to escape this fight and back up the trio.

Enma normally wouldn't agree as he receive a mission from the third Hokage to protect Oden, however, he had found Oden very powerful and trusted his capabilities so he agreed.

After Enma was slapped away, Oden use the fan to hit Kinkaku in the gut with a great wind, making him fly upwards.

After that, he shot another flame Rasenyari upwards totally exterminating Kinkaku.

On the other side of the battlefield, Enma appeared suddenly supporting the trio, which confused them.

'Don't worry, he can handle himself better than expected.' Enma thought with a smile, knowing that they would be shocked to find out that Oden was probably a low kage-level powerhouse, if not stronger.

'I see, good, I have a plan!' Shikaku thought back.

Suddenly all of the turned back and saw Kinkaku in the sky, and a blazing, spiraling flame flew up towards him before exploding, creating a spiraling tower that exploded towards the sky.

All of them stopped, aghast at what they saw.

Enma smirked.

'Didn't I tell you that he can handle himself?' Enma thought.
