Meeting mother elf

Bella ran out of the window towards the place where she has the elf go in the morning. She could still hear the distinct voice of people following her.

Taking a deep breath, she vanished and apparated at the other block. She can't let them find about Alex and Anna. She can't involve them in this mess.

Running at a distance when she was sure they were far away. She closed her eyes and without hesitation, she cut herself with the stone there. Pretending as if it was done accidentally. She walked a bit and healed her feet.

But that was enough to our them towards her location. And as she had thought the lady who was going home with her husband looked at her and smirked " (you can't run anymore no.15. They are here) and then with a confused face she continued walking.

While her husband looked at his wife and then at her. He even turned back a few times, just failed to understand what her wife was speaking.

Putting her senses into best she finally found the footprints of an elf, she knew elves work in a group. She just has to reach the mother elf. Only she is the one who can help her now.

More whispers could be heard around now. Controlling her ragged breathing as she is running faster than air, she is sure she must have crossed at least 4 cities by now.

"Stop running no. 15"

"You are nothing but a fool no.15"

"We will burn you in hell for centuries no.15."

"Traitor, coward"

All the words of her ex-fellow mates could be heard around her.

Gasping for air, she stopped for taking a breath. Leaning on the tree, she held her hands on the knees. And took air as much as her body can conserve and ran again.

She can't teleport because she has to follow the trails of elves. But that was also in around. About manner. If she went there directly all the demons would follow her.

Although afraid, she was determined to get her freedom back. Running forward, she finally saw a ray of hope. An elf was coming out of a house with a smile on his face.

'Oh, he must have delivered the gift.' She smiled and finally starting following him as stealthily as possible. The elf was busy in humming a tune and hopping around that he unintentionally brought the demon to their hideout.

When the elf entered the hideaway. any turned towards his direction but was shocked to see the demon behind him. Looking at the widened eyes and pale face of his fellow mates he scrunched his brows and asked,

"What's with the expression, I have done a task well. Is the chart board showing any mistake?" He ran towards the chart board but none of them either spoke or followed him.

Taking the board in his small hands, be checked his last delivery. And just as he thought everything was done well. He had even received four stars. Then why in the name of Santa we're they giving him those looks like he had brought a devil with him.

"Hmph, those fools must be making fun of him. I will show them with this year's prize that I am the best elf." Filling himself with determination, he went back to the hall when he became shocked.

On the door was leaning a demon which was in her human form. She was looking tired as she was taking deep breathes with closed eyes. But the question is how did she get in here.

This place was covered with many phantasms. One will lose his way until he knows the right way to choose from many other illusions. Even new elves forget the way and fall in traps many times.

It must be these folks who have brought her here unknowingly. He furrowed his brows and putting his hands on his waist, he shouted: "which fool had brought a demon here."

All the elves who were shocked till now came back to their senses and glared at the elf who was shouting at top of his lungs.

"Such a bunch of fools you are. You even didn't realise a demon is following you. I will complain about it to mother elf." He continued his ranting and all the elves around him lose their temper.

Few ran to hit him but the elders held him through their waist. But that ignorant thought that they are getting angry because he told them that he would complain

Bella who was losing her consciousness also became alert hearing all the chaos around her. "Where is your mother elf," she asked the elf who brought her here and now threatening others for his mistake.

Her voice brought everyone back to their senses and they looked at the demon with horror and took steps back. They tried to create as much distance as possible.

"What. What are you talking about? We didn't have any mother elf." The elder denied even shaking his head like a drum to emphasis his point.

Bella knew they wouldn't tell her easily. Elves are loyal creatures. But so as demons. She would be the first one to betray her clan. She smiled to look friendly.

But her smile only looked malicious to them. Dread filled their eyes. They stumbled back and ran for their lives.

"Look I meant no harm, I need your help. I want to meet the mother elf. Please" she pleaded desperately but her pleas fell on deaf ears. No one cared what she is saying all they cared about a demon is here.

Demons feed on goodness. And elves are the purest creatures found around. It makes them the most delicious food for the demons. They how could they stop and hear what their predator want to say.
