DERRIC POV

"YOU PEOPLE CAN'T DO A WORK PROPERLY! GET OUT BEFORE I DO ANYTHING" In mind *Where is sapphie? Only she can calm me down. *

'Knock'

*Who could it be? * "Come in! *cold* "Good Morning Sir!" It's my Sapphie! But why is she late today? She loves to be punctual. I asked her " Why are you late?" She replied in her professional tone " Sorry for being late sir, but there is something that you need to handle." I was shocked for a bit. There was nothing that she can't do. I composed myself and asked her " What is the matter?" She replied " Mr. Davis is demanding a meeting with you. I have already delayed him for two hours. He is impatient." That a**h*l* dare to come again, my blood was boiling hearing his name. I said with my barely controlling anger " Let's meet him!

SAPPHIRE POV

After telling Boss about Mr. Davis, he looks really angry. I lead him to the meeting room. Mr. Davis was already present there. Boss shot a cold glance at him and said in his cold tone "Why did you want to meet me?" Mr. Davis replied, "I want you to cooperate with my company." Boss looked at him and said, " Explain!" Mr. Davis was confused by Boss's words. I then said, " Boss wants you to explain your deal." He weirdly looked at me and started explaining his deal. Boss was quite impressed with his explanation. He said "Deal!" I went and brought the contract papers. The whole time Mr. Davis was weirdly seeing me. It made me uncomfortable.

DERRIC POV

I was quite impressed with this b**t*r* explanation. I agreed to the deal. My Sapphie started preparing the contract papers. I noticed her feeling uncomfortable. I saw the direction where she was feeling uncomfortable. That's it! My eyes were red. HE DARES TO LAY HIS UGLY EYES ON WHAT IS MINE! On top of that, he asked me something he shouldn't have asked. " I want that hot chick if you want to get your deal. I know you will face a huge loss if you lose this great deal." That's it HE IS DEAD.

SAPPHIRE POV

I was baffled when he said he wants me. I was scared of what will happen to me. Boss got up from his seat and punched Mr. Davis so hard that he fell from his place. He called the guards and ordered them to take him captive. He then pulled me protectively and roared " LAY YOUR EYES ON HER AND YOUR DEAD!" With that, he ordered the guards to take Mr. Davis away. I was about to say something, but he dragged me with him.

DERRIC POV

As soon as that b**t*r* said those words I lost my mind. I punched him and thought of my Sapphie leaving me, taking control. I pulled Sapphie towards me, held her protectively, called the guards, and ordered them to take this sh*t away. But before taking him away I roared at him " LAY YOUR EYES ON HER AND YOUR DEAD!" With that, the guards took him away. I needed cool myself. I dragged Sapphie with me without letting her say anything.

SAPPHIRE POV

Boss then took me to his cabin and hugged me tightly and said "No one will touch you or hurt you. So don't be scared." After a long time, I was hearing such comforting words. After the death of my mom, no one said these words. Unknowingly a drop of tear fell from my eyes making my vision a little blurry. He broke the hug and wiped my tears and said "Don't waste your precious tears on such cheap sh*t. I will protect you from now on. You will stay with me and no arguments." He kissed my forehead; I didn't know when my vision went black.

DERRIC POV

I took her into my cabin and hugged her tightly and comforted her with my gentle words. I felt warm drops of tears on me. I broke my hug and wiped her tears and again comforted her. I don't want to lose her again. It's been six years already since I have been away from her. Not anymore. She will stay with me. I won't leave her alone this time. As I was thinking all this, I felt like Sapphie isn't moving. I got panicked and called for the doctor. He checked her and said it was because of sudden shock and stress. I sighed and took her to our castle.

SAPPHIRE POV

I woke up with something heaving on me. I looked at the source of the heavyweight and it was none other than Boss! I panicked and tried to get away, but the grip only got tighter. I stopped struggling and remembered the words Boss told me. I felt secure and safe hearing those words. I don't know but I felt a familiar connection with him. Like I know him before. Do we have some past with each other? I felt a sudden movement Boss was getting up!
