The Prince Who Got Away!

Inside the library, in front of Mitz was a huge bookshelf. On the bookshelf of the fourth row, there was an amazing amount of different kinds of books. They were all books that are all about the history of the Fugran Empire, different kinds of metals, rare materials and other stuffs he had not known before.

If it was someone else, their eyes would definitely blur from the sight. After all, there were so many books in varying sizes. Furthermore, some of the books are written incomplete while some are very thick to read in a day. If one were to randomly read all of these books without knowing what to do, it was possible for them to go crazy from boredoom.

However, Ren was different. Possessing his own overpowered system, he was capable of copying the books directly storing it on his mind. He didn't hesitate to grab a book and flip through it.

A similar book appeared in his mind.

Ren didn't stop and picked up the next one.

He wasn't browsing through them nor picking them. Rather, he was trying to increase the number of books in the storage of his system so that it will have more knowledge about this world.

The sound of flipping pages filled the entire room.

The people inside the library have long ago been driven outside by the fat librarian. Afraid that the noise of other people might anger the Icy Prince.

Knowing that his aim had been achieved, he smiled and walked towards the outside without hesitation.

Being greedy would cause harm more than good.

For today's aim was enough for him to have a small grasp of the situation in the Fugran Empire so he would not bite more than he can chew.

He can always comeback here and slowly but surely, finish copying all the books in the library.

Meanwhile, outside the library, there is a commotion going on. A bunch of young girls are thrashing a fat man, and the funny thing was is that this fat man turns out to be the librarian earlier. But looking at his swollen face right now, he looks not much of a difference to a pig and in front of him was a group of enraged young girls.

"Let us see the Icy Prince!"

"This lady here wants to meet the Icy Prince"

A group of angels. A bunch of beautiful and gorgeous women. There were at least ten of them and all of them had impressive figures and pretty faces. The crowd that surrounded them were also stunned by the beauty of these women.

They all have the same thought in mind. 'What the hell is happening here?'

It was already very hard to look for a pretty girl and yet today, not one not two but more than ten beautiful girls are all gathered in front of the library. It was a feast for the eye of these hot blooded young men to see the ample breasts of these gorgeous women bounce up and down.

The surrounding crowd was dumbfounded. Although they have heard that there was a noble wearing Darma Robe reading in the library. What was this commotion all about?

At the same time, Ren was utterly speechless, his mind went blank after seeing many angels in front of him.

Ren was very nervous, looking at the large crowd in front of him, he was very surprised that there were a lot of people in front of the library but what was the reason.

He did not dwell on this matter too much as his thoughts was distracted by the soft voice beside his ear.

Looking at the girl beside him, he began to examine her, she was taller than him by a head high, has pale white skin and a pair of blue eyes, matched with her long black hair wearing a fancy green dress she was a beauty undeniably.

But, surprisingly, he was not as surprised as earlier and maintained his cold demeanor, directly looking at the eyes of the girl in her side.

The girl was taken a back by his reaction and had to take a few step back. Her action caused the other girls to look at him with greater affection and interest in their eyes.

It seems like his effort to shoo away the girl was ineffective, and trying to shoo the others will be a lot harder. So out of option, Ren asked the system.

After receiving these two notifications, he was anticipating some answer that could help him. Although he can just run away because only a few will be able to catch him, he immediately disregarded the thought.

There are also rankings between cultivation techniques, skills, weapons, pills, and other things in this world. The rankings are categorized as Mortal Rank, Spiritual Rank, Earth Rank, Heaven Rank, Divine Rank which is further divided into five tiers.

The Blue Ring was a Tier 5 Mortal Rank which is the in the same rank while the skill Frost Blink was a Tier 1 Spiritual Rank which is higher than the Blue Ring. The reason is that it was an auxiliary skill and covers a reasonable distance.

He waited no chance for them to say anything as he immediately use the skill Frost Blink. After activating the skill, the air around him instantly turned cold, the girl near him shivered from the cold. And then, he disappeared in front of them just like how a bubble disappears but the cold air still remained for a couple of minutes before disappearing.

The crowd was dumbfounded by the sudden turn of events, he just came out of the library and was hoping to meet him but he just disappeared like that.

Their knowledge about skills are limited as they focused more on forging so most of them are mystified by what they saw. There even some that says that he was a spirit of a dead prince which explains why he was so cold to others and hard to approach.

The most disappointed by this sudden turn of event was the City Lord, who was hoping to meet with Ren. His subordinates told him that he disappeared after they saw a light blue glow of light.

Inside a dimly light room, a middle aged man was sitting on a chair, he rested his chin on his arm while it was supported by the table in front of him.

"Lord, according to their report, the boy used some sort of skill that teleports to a certain distance." in front of him was a young girl wearing a an attractive set of outfit.

"Skill huh?" the middle aged man seems to be contemplating on something. Meanwhile, the girl just stood there waiting for him to finish his thoughts.

"Send someone to investigate about the boys origin. I want you to bring this boy in front of me."

"Yes milord" the girl courteously bowed before leaving.

The middle aged man was the on;y one left inside the room, he was silent for a moment before he started laughing.

"Let us see who you really are." with a smile on his face he released an aura that belongs to that of a late stage Pemptus rank.

And the silence perpetuated the room, the middle aged man, still sitting on his chair, was thinking about the boy. On his thoughts he can't help it but smiled grimly.

On a certain location, outside of the city, a boy wearing black robe was staring at the scene in front of him in a daze. Maybe it was because of the bright blue sky or the sea of trees in the forest but there was a smile on his otherworldly handsome face.
