Out For Blood!

*Midnight, Outskirts Mansion*

"Don't you think we should have attacked in the day?" Silk complained looking at the mansion in front of us. Though it looked more like a fort if anything.

"Every second we waste, Dracula gets another clan under him, making him stronger. We don't have time to waste." Hannibal replied, looking through his binoculars.

"Which would get weakened under sunlight. Plus, we wouldn't have to worry about the normal ones." Silk quipped back, getting a nod from Katana. Hannibal just looked at her and sighed. She was right at that.

"We're here anyway, so let's get going. Enigma, what can you see through your drone?" Abigail asked.

"We have a few rounds of patrol, 6 sentry gates at the 6 corners. The central area, which would be the top seems to be the most guarded. I'm surprised they didn't make it underground." I replied.

"Dracula is probably basking in the moon." Blade answered my doubt.

"Well, since all vampires are connected to Dracula, so if even one sees us, we're busted. Same goes for eliminating them." Hannibal said.

"Even if we manage to sneak in undetected, we will get surrounded. Frontal charge seems the most viable option. One team can sneak in from another way to corner him." Daredevil gave his thoughts.

"Seems like the best course of action. Since they shouldn't know Defenders are with us, you guys should sneak in." Abigail said and looked towards us, getting a nod.

*3rd POV*

Blade, Abigail, Hannibal and their 5-person squad went in, while the 4 Defenders decided to sneak in from different spots around the mansion, and regroup on the roof, near the windows of the room we were raiding, since the Vampires on the roof should go in once Hannibal enters the room.

Just as they got in position, fight started inside the mansion. After about half minute Enigma started scaling the place. Queen was keeping an bird's eye view thanks to the drone. In five minutes, Hannibal made his way into the room. Enigma was actually keeping an eye out because of the nanobot on Hannibal's sheath and also from one he had inside Dracula's office. He was sitting there with a smile, with the back of his chair facing the door.

Hannibal's team stormed the room and started killing the guards, also breaking the windows in the process. Within seconds, all vampires turned into ashes. The only thing making sound was the the tapping of feet coming from the chair facing the wall."...Dracula" Blade grunted.

The tapping sound paused, and a voice spoke, " You thought I was Dracula?". The person said and suddenly the chair turned. "BUT IT WAS ME DIOO."

The tapping sound paused, and a voice spoke, "You did well making in here, I respect your efforts." The person said and the chair turned showing a tall man with pale skin and blood-red eyes, with long white hair, "But it is all futile against Dracula", he said. He was excluding a heavy pressure making everyone, even outside everyone became tense. Well, it wasn't even close to Enigma or Yao's 1%, but was still impressive.

"But I would like to see you try none-the-less." He said and kicked the table, sending it flying. Blade managed to block it, while other's scattered around him. They started shooting at him, but he grew a bone armor around him, which no weapon was able to damage. He even took Abigail's UV-bomb arrow to the face and didn't flinch. He kicked 3 people on the ground unconscious while 2 were left standing, with Blade, and Abigail. Hannibal was on his knees.

"We might need backup" Hannibal said, which was heard clearly by Enigma and took aim with his gun." Isn't it a little too late for that?" Dracula asked looking at him, but suddenly got startled. But before he could even do anything, a bullet pierced through his bone armor, which had blocked others, easily and lodged into his head, leaking the silver poison mixed with holy energy.

The poison took effect immediately as Dracula came to his knees while his bone armor disappeared and his skin started to turn black. The four Defenders entered through the windows and surrounded him. The bullet was a specially made one for him, developed by Enigma. But even after shooting him, he was on edge because his danger sense was alarming him. Same was going on for Silk. While the other's were also confused and stayed on edge because of their instinct.

Exactly then Dracula started laughing and said, "You think I didn't know about your little group at all? You are a fool Hannibal, and you'll die like one too. Same for you Blade, you could have joined me, but it's too late now." He said before turning into dust. Everyone was startled by his declaration but that didn't last long as a blast of fire engulfed them all, as all the bombs present in the fort exploded, burying them under rubble.

*a minute later*

Smoke filled the air with sparks going all across, even lighting the nearby trees on fire. The fort that was standing tall was now a burning ruin. Suddenly a part of rubble moved, and a blue aura dome came out of it, then disappeared and the raiders came out of it.

*3rd POV end*

I was definitely not expecting a suicide bomb, especially from Dracula. Though I guess it wasn't him, he just manage to disguise someone else as him, or that he can make clones.

"Sh*t, he fooled us." Blade cursed looking at the ruins.

"Thanks for the save Enigma." Hannibal said, while I just nodded and did a magical scan of the whole place for survivors.

"Wait, before the mansion exploded, didn't he say he knows about our group?" Abigail asked looking at Hannibal. I expected something like this, glad I left Jean back there.

"Sir, what about him?" One of Hannibal's members came forward with a man. He was one of the few humans under Dracula who were staying here. He's lucky he was in the same room as us. I quickly skimmed through his mind and said, "Dracula knows the location of your base, Phoenix and others are there so it shouldn't be a problem. I need to look at a base of vampires I got from his head. He didn't seem to know much but it seems important for Dracula."

"I'll come too." Blade said to me.

"We need to go back to the base. Abigail, can you go with them?" Hannibal asked her, to which she looked concerned, but nodded.

"Silk, can you get them to the base?" I asked, and she nodded." Take the Nightowl, I'll take the Tumbler." I said and we divided. Silk boarded the Nightowl with others and flew away, while we reached the road near the mansion. The police and fire department have been informed by Queen.

"So, Where's your 'Tumbler'?" Daredevil asked, emphasizing the last word. For some reason, he doesn't like my naming sense. Miles and Peter love it though. Probably the age difference. Just as he asked, a roar came from the road, bringing a tank of a car shooting towards us, and stopped right in front of us. It's inspiration was Batman's tumbler from the trilogy, but I changed it. A lot. I designed it more as a transport vehicle with a team, rather than a two person one. That's actually my main car, but we will talk about that one later. This one was notably bigger than the original tumbler, it had a total of 10 seats. 2 in front and 4 in two rows respectively. It was made of space compression tech and nanobots, so it was easy to accommodate. It was fitted with the best arsenal I have right now, and Proto-adamantium armor, combined with the Adamantine and vibranium runes makes it shrug off even nuclear warheads.

"... How did it get here so fast?" That's all DD could say, snapping Blade and Abigail out of their trance seeing the car.

"Well you could say..." DD immediately realized where I was going with it." Don't you dare..." He said glaring at me.

"... it's an 'Enigma!'". DD facepalmed hearing that while Blade and Abigail choked on their own breath.

"You need to stop hanging out with Spiderman." He grunted, gritting his teeth.

I started Tumbler and said, "See, you have started making puns too." He looked confused for a sec but stopped right in his tracks as realization dawned on him(hanging). He was in the process of sitting down, when he just silently looked at me and I looked at him, tapping the dashboard to try annoy him more. He gave a defeated sigh and sat down, while Abigail and Blade sat behind us. I just chuckled and drove away towards the location of warehouse I got from that guy's head, while the sirens of the firetruck and police cars sounded in a distance.

*5 minutes later*

I parked in an alley 50m away from the warehouse and we got to the top floor of the nearby building. The place was pretty big and well guarded. Officially it was a fertilizer creation factory but their frequency of production really rang the bells. But when I used my aura to scan it, the result was shocking as well as frightening. Except the vampires, there were various life signatures barely hanging to their life.

"We need to hurry, there is something very wrong with this place." I said and instead of my usual methods, directly few in. I still wasn't sure what was happening in, so needed to see it. Seeing me rush in, they quickly leaped the fence and followed as well. I sent a mental blast on the vampire guards for now, and they got knocked out.

What I saw reaching inside made my blood boil. There were people of different age groups strapped to machines which were making sure they're alive and at the same time drawing blood out of them, like a blood bag. My eyes were glowing red with anger and the ground started shaking when suddenly my emotions disappeared like they never existed.

'Gamer's mind activated'

"Why didn't it activate anytime before?" I asked.

'That's because it reset's emotions in case you're in an emergency or battle, to not let them hinder your actions' Queen replied. DD and other's reached me in time and saw the scene in horror. … Well, except DD who sensed it.

They clenched their fists on anger while Blade was gritting his teeth. DD placed his hand on my shoulder and said, "There is nothing we can do now. We need-" Before he could continue I cut in.

"I'll heal them." I said.

"... to deatt- Wait WHAT?" He turned to me in disbelief, same with Blade and Abigail. Before I said anything, I sensed the Vampires about to wake up already... Damn it, today had to be a full moon. Should have listened to Silk and attacked in the morning.

"The Vampires are waking up, Daredevil and Blade, please handle them. Abigail, the head vampire is in the cabin behind 3rd container. Beat him up, but make sure he's still alive,... I have some questions. Meanwhile, I'll heal them" I said, and they went to their respective tasks.

I created a cube area of 2m X 2m X 2m around everyone. Making multiple small cubes and recreate things in them with my divinity was easier than covering a large area. I erased all machinery attached to them an recreated their missing parts with their blood in an instant and filled enough nutrition as well. After that, I created bed's below them and let them rest.

After making sure they are stable, I made my way to Abigail, and DD and Blade joined in as well. They finished them off quick to vent their anger. I opened the door to find he stepping on a chopped off head of the vampire while his body had turned to dust.

'Since when did women become this violent?' I thought.

'You have 3 lovers and are still asking this?' Oracle quipped back. I ignored her and lifted up the head and read all the information he had, which actually wasn't much. I went so hard that his brain had literally liquified. I then burned him with the phoenix flames.

"Didn't you want to ask something?" Abigail asked confused.

"Mind reading" I answered back, getting a nod.

Suddenly the comm started ringing. I activated and heard Jean from the other side "Alex, the Vampires attacked the mansion. We defeated them but they managed to take Hannibal away"

"What? How?" I asked shocked. Jean was enough to take care of Dracula, they shouldn't have escaped.

"They weren't alone. They had these bull creatures that breathed fire. The one's we read in the book about hell spawns in the sanctum. Dracula was summoning those." She said.

'*Sigh* And here I thought things were going smooth'.
