Chapter 11

I kept trying to irritate that voice, but that voice kept talking like it was a voice recorder. So I moved forward to find the source of this voice. When I reached one dark corner, I smelled the blood and took my phone to on the torch, but unfortunately, my phone slipped from my hand. Suddenly that voice stopped, and I moved further and touched the wall as that wall moved like a door. I was so shocked because I lived in this house from childhood but I don’t know about this secret palace. I wanted to know what was behind this door. I went inside that room. As every light is started to work.

Wait, this place exactly looked like Elijah’s library. I went deeper to check whether it was Elijah’s library or not. While I’m searching, I see the big picture of my mother hanging on the wall. When I went there, a book from the back shelf fell down, and it got my attention, so I went there and took the book. When I opened the book, I saw my mom's name as the author as I continued to flip the page. The book started with a sentence. "I know you are here. Follow this book. It will help you."

Is this about me? I questioned myself as I continued to read that book.

"On the full moon day, Give your blood to the stars. It will give grant your wish. That’s the only sentence in the book. Other words were like mess. They didn’t make any sense. According to this book, next day is the full moon day. I don’t have anything to lose. So I decided to try this. I took that book with me and searched for other clues. But every book in that library is empty. I don’t understand a thing. How can a book in the library be empty? I sat at the table while thinking that. I don’t feel weird but a comfort in this room. I feel the peace where I never felt.

The next day, I told Elijah everything, but he refused to trust it. "Elijah, why don’t you trust anything?" I asked him. "It’s not like I’m not trusting you." I don’t want you to suffer because of me. Do you know why I fought with you the other day?" He asked me, and I shook my head to say no. He continued to talk. "After you left, your stepmother Madison came here. She looked every corner of your room and sprayed something in every corner of your room and said ‘Now, I will see.. how that bitch will escape from this.’ She said and left. "I didn’t know how you would react to this, which is why I didn’t say anything to you and fought with you to leave this room." He said.

"That bitch, she's never going to leave me in peace. Let me go and teach a lesson to that bitch." While I’m talking, Elijah cuts me off by saying, "This is why I didn’t tell you. Now you are telling that you found a way to send me? Look Tina, even after my death, I want to stay with you." He said as I stood in teary eyes.

"But Elijah, we are going to try this. Please cooperate with me." I said as he let out the sigh. I took him with me to the terrace, where we saw the full moon and shining stars. as what I remember from that book. I should sacrifice my blood to the stars. So I took the knife to cut my hand. Elijah yelled at me. "You completely went crazy, Tina. You can’t do that." as I completely ignored his word. When I took that knife near my hand, I felt someone holding my hand tightly. I turned to see who that was. To my shock, it’s Elijah.

"Tina, look, I’m back to my original state. Now you don’t have to cut your hand." He hugged me as I smiled.

"I know; I won’t cut myself." I said as he pulled me and smashed his lips on mine. We had a deep kiss.

I kept smiling at him. "Tina, I have one doubt," he said.

"I know what you are going to ask me. You want to know, How do you get back to your original state?" Right?" I asked him as he nodded.

"There is a secret library in the basement, and I read a book there. In that book, it says, "True love will come to save you in any situation." So I planned to try that, and it actually worked." I said.

"You too have a brain." He spoke as I gave him a glare.

"Just for fun, babe." He said, "I love you," and he hugged me.

"I missed your scent." He whispered in my ears.

"I too." I said as he sucked my neck and gave me hickey.

"You are going too much." I said.

"No, I haven’t even started. Do you want me to show you how I will go too far?" He whispered and pressed my body against his body. Things were started to heat up. That’s when I heard my dad calling for me. But I was completely mesmerised by his touch.

"Elijah… Stop…" I moaned.

"What the hell are you doing?" my dad shouted as we both stood in shock.

"Dad.. That.. He..." I blurted out as Elijah held my hand and said, "Greetings! "Father, I’m your future son-in-law." He spoke as my dad gave him a death glare.

"I won’t accept a book’s character as my son-in-law." He said.

"Dad, That’s… Wait.. Dad What did you said?" I asked him in shock as he smirked and Elijah didn’t shocked as I am.

"What? How?" I blurted out in confusion.

"We've already met once." Elijah said as I looked at him disbelief.

"How? Wh.. What the hell?" I yelled.

"Why are you shouting?" My dad yelled at me as Elijah came forward and said, "Don’t raise your voice at my girlfriend in front of me." He said as my dad gave him death glare.

"She is my daughter before she is your girlfriend." He said.

"Elijah, Dad.. "What is happening here?" I asked them as they looked at me seriously.
