Breakfast

Miyo got up early and started on breakfast Soji walked in smelling it. "Food," he said and rushed over. "Miss Miyo, you can cook," he asked. Miyo jumps. "Sorry for messing up this room," she said. Soji laughs. "It's your home, love. No need fo apologize. That smells amazing," he said. "Is the master awake?" he asks. "I don't think so," she said. Soji nodded and sat down. Toshizo walks in wearing his uniform. "What smells so good," he said. "Toshi," Soji says and hugs him. "Miyo cooked," Soji said. Toshizo sat and ate while they talked. "Miyo, that was very good," he said. Soji nods. "Thank you for the wonderful meal," he said. "Miyo, why are you crying," Toshizo asks. "I have never received a compliment before," she said. Toshizo looked at her and lifted her chin. "Each day, you will get one from me or Soji," he said. Soji nodded happily and went off fo work with him. Miss Yuki was cleaning the home. "The master is nice, isn't he," she told Miyo. Miyo nods. "His friend Soji is, too," she said. Miss Yuki nods. "Soji keeps The Master in line sometimes," she said. Miyo nods. "Soji seems so happy," Miyo said. Miss Yuki nods. "Yes, he is always so happy and sweet," she said. "They should be home soon. The master likes rice and pork for dinner, and Sojo likes fried rice," she said, and Miyo nodded and helped—Soji busted in first and hugged Yuki. Toshizo walked in and took off his shoes and belts. He sighed and undone his shirt and went to the study. Soji stayed in the kitchen. "Toshizo is in a mood," Soji said. Miyo looks. "What happened," she said. "Some of the soldiers went off without his permission, and a child got killed in the backlash, and Toshizo is getting backlash for it," he said and stole some food. Yuki slapped his hand "Go, Soji, dinner will be up at the study shortly," Yuki said Soji nodded and left. Miyo brought up the meal. Toshizo looks seeing it he ate. A small smile went across his face. Soji saw it and coughed hard.
