1 Meeting Miyo

Toshizo and Soji arrive at Miyo's house. He blows the last smoke out. "Sir, you should stop smoking. It is the main reason the women leave," Soji said. Toshizo looked at him. "Then they are not suited to be my wife," he said. Soji knocks. A servant opens the door Toshizo hears yelling. He goes to see and sees Kaya throw hot tea in Miyo's face. He grips his sword. "Miss, please tell the master of the house Mr.Hijikata is here," Soji said. "Sir, please let's leave it be," he said. Toshizo sat down and waited. Miyo's father comes in. Miyo was behind in an old Kimono. Kaya was in a beautiful new one and sat beside her mother while Miyo got tea for everyone. Toshizo bowed his head and said thank you. "Mr. Hijikata, our daughter Miyo will make a lovely wife," he said. He nods he glances at Kaya. "Soji smokes, please," he said. "Sir, not fine," he said and lit a smoke for him. He waited until the ash was hot and dropped it before Kaya. "Pick it up," he said. "I will not," she said. She looks at her father. "Kaya do as he asks," he said. "How rude you were to your sister. Pick up the ash before it gets cold," he said. "Of course, it's not the same as hot tea in the face," he said, reaching for the cup. Kaya picks up the ash and winches. "Miyo will be transported to the estate tonight, and Kaya will be my new maid," he said. Soji sighs. "Sir, we don't need another maid. Please making her pick up hot ash is enough, and we are taking Miyo away," Soji said. Toshizo sighs. "You are right, Soji. I will take Miyo to be my wife," he said. Her father nodded Toshizo stood up and looked at Miyo "Miss, please get all of your things together," he said. Soji helped her up and went with her to help. When they walked out and all Miyo had was her old Kimino. Toshizo took her shopping Soji had a blast picking things out for her. "Soji, you sure you're a dog of the military youre just so happy," Miyo asks. Soji smiles. "Always been like this also; someone has to keep the spirits up. Mr.Hijikata doesn't smile haven't seen him smile since I have known him," he said as he paid for the clothes. Mr. Hijikata was waiting in his uniform "Soji, hurry up; I have a meeting," he said. Soji nods. "Yes, sir," he said and got her back. They soon arrived at Toshizo's estate. Soji pulled her inside and showed her around and to her room, and he put her clothes away and bowed. "Miss Yuki is the housemaid, and she is fantastic, so please enjoy your stay. I have to go see the scary boss, man," he giggles and leaves. Miyo was looking around.
