Wrong Timing

Sam stared at Sumi in disbelief. After she left Vegas, he never expected to see her again, let alone see her in Hong Kong.

Sumi turned around, calmly explained something to her husband in Korean, and the man returned to his car reluctantly.

Sumi then looked at Sam. "How have you been?" she asked in a soft yet awkward voice.

Her voice was like music that tickled Sam's ears, but when it reached his heart, it tore it completely apart.

"What are you doing here in Hong Kong?" he asked as he furrowed his brows. He wanted to be angry at the woman, but when he saw the innocent look in her eyes, he subconsciously held back a little.

"I was here to attend an engagement party..." Sumi replied.

"Engagement party?!" Sam exclaimed. They were in the parking lot of a hotel and he had also come for an engagement party. Could it be the same one? "Lucas and Delilah's engagement party?" he asked.

Sumi nodded her head.
