Chapter 29, The what family‽

What emerged in it's place was a white colour, Though his vision was slowly coming back.

His figure was covered in the subtle white hue from the ceiling light.

Lu Xin was still able to realize that the main white colour he saw was just the sealing of the hospital room, Moreover the moment he awakened he felt his head ache with pain but that didn't really bother him much.

" Darling your finally awake^^" Lu Xin who was still adjusting to his vision suddenly heard a feminine voice filled with untold joy and affection.

 ' Why did I even get my hopes up, Of course she had to be here....' Lu Xin grumbled inwardly while feeling a bit tired, It seemed like no matter what he did he still couldn't escape this stunning silver haired beauty before him.

Before he could react Emily pounced on him, giving the stunned young man a warm hug.

Yet the moment he felt her affectionate touch something unexpected happened.

"....!" Lu Xin's eye's widened in shock while his pupils constricted, Though it was for a brief moment, his vision seemed to have darkened, The moment she touched him, he saw a brief silhouette of a Large majestic looking Silver wolf staring back at him with bared fangs and a fierce gaze.

' Just what the heck was that‽, A bad omen?'

The scene was brief in that it vanished shortly after it emerged yet Lu Xin couldn't help but feel that the wolfs fierce gaze from earlier had a touch of apprehension mixed within.

Nevertheless not long afterwards, Emily's enthusiastic voice pulled him out of his thoughts.

" I missed you so much^^" Emily added while continuing to hug him, her smooth soft face snuggled against his warm broad chest, from the looks of it she didn't plan on letting him go anytime soon.

Lu Xin's eye's twitched a bit when he saw her acting so clingy, He instinctively wanted to push her off but that thought suddenly vanished in the blink of an eye.

Instead of his usual anger towards her from earlier, To Lu Xin's confusion he felt something within him urging him against it.

The feeling left him feeling bewildered, It was too strange to explain in words so Lu Xin decided to brush it off instead.

His eyes glanced through the room, it appeared that Emily wasn't the only one in the room for another figure besides her was currently standing Infront of the hospital door.

' And who is this? '

It wasn't Sasha, She had already left awhile ago after he fell unconscious.

The poor lady was far too frightened from earlier to remain anywhere near him, in a sense she found him unpredictable and really didn't want to have anything else to do with Lu Xin at this point.

Instead of Sasha, The person in question was a gray haired middle-aged man with intricate eyebrows, a stern expression, chiseled build with an air of brilliance in a 3 piece Stuart suit.

He stood with his back against the door, his hands were properly clasped behind his back while he stood there with a straight posture, His entire visage reeked of professionalism.

The man's very presence even had Lu Xin looking at him with eye's filled with reverence.

' .....So this is the young man who's caught the young lady's attention'

The middle aged man who noticed Lu Xin's visible gaze smiled lightly before giving a respectful bow.

 " My name's Sebastian Silverfang, I'm the Head Butler of the Silverfang Family, it's an honor to finally meet you Young sir " The man said in a tone filled with respect.

" ...Silverfang family?, Forgive my ignorance but i simply don't recall ever having anything to do with a Silverfang family" Lu Xin smiled helplessly.

During his study abroad, though he mostly focused on his medical knowledge, Lu Xin also happened to come across other forms of knowledge as well which included Several historical figures, organizations, groups and as well as respected families known to many.

Unfortunately he hadn't heard of a family bearing the name of Silverfang but with the way the butler presented himself not to mention the feeling of reverence one would get just by simply gazing at him was enough for him to understand that this Silverfang family wasn't as simple as he had hoped for.

" We'll of course you haven't, Please don't misunderstand young sir, The only reason am here is simply because our young miss has taken a special liking too you" 

"...."

Lu Xin creased his brow's when he heard the suited man's word's.

" Theirs no need to look so displeased young master, I mean you no harm" 

" If you meant him no harm then why are you here to kill him...." Lu Xin stiffened when he heard Emily's muffled voice against his chest.
