Chapter 30, I hate the word .. unfortunately..

" What do you mean kill!" Lu Xin quivered with fright, his eyes which were once filled with reverence now stared at the proper looking butler with trepidation.

" Please don't be frightened young sir, As the young miss of the Silverfang family and the Alpha's only child, The Alpha has taken it upon himself to test any man the young miss is attracted to"

" Then what if I don't want to be that someone..." Lu Xin mumbled while running his hand through his slick jet black hair.

He regretted saying that the next moment because he suddenly felt a pair of cold arms squeeze his sides even harder than before.

His eyes squinted when he felt her arms continue constricting him, With each second he felt the air being forced out of his lungs, at this rate it wouldn't be long before his face turned blue from asphyxiation.

" Forgive me.., What I meant to say was, What if the one she's chosen decides to refuse instead " he said with a forced smile.

 Lu Xin flinched a little, he made sure to avoid the piercing gaze on his neck as he spoke for he feared if he looked into her chilling eye's only disaster would follow.

Sebastian chuckled lightly, he didn't need a pair of glasses to notice Lu Xin's plight. 

" Well normally that wouldn't be an issue, My Lord would've let you walk away without as much as a single scratch..." He said with a smile only to let out a pitiful sigh the next.

" Unfortunately this time seems to be a different matter all together " he added.

Mister Sebastian stared towards the ceiling lightly before heaving a light sigh. " Due to the fact that you've already been involved with the young miss's attempt at a forbidden ritual not to mention you've been informed about the existence of we supernatural...."

" Your Death will depend on whether the ritual was a success or not" he returned his gaze on Lu Xin, his tone sounded far more serious than before.

" You might as well skip with the gibberish and just tell him you plan on killing him should the ritual turn out to be a failure Uncle Sebastian" The silver haired maiden retreated from her lover's warm chest, her icy facade had a cruel sneer on it as she gazed at the seemingly harmless Butler.

Emily suddenly released an icy aura similar to a frosty glacier, Lu Xin shivered involuntary, he felt as if the temperature within the room was dropping at a noticable degree.

The black suited middle-aged man's expression darkened.

" My lady you knew of the consequences when you first attempted to turn him" he said with as much courtesy as possible.

The butler was trying his best not to anger her, he was only here due to the Alpha, Her father's orders after all.

 If push comes to shove he really didn't want to ruin the relationship he had with his dear niece.

As for why the brother of the Alpha was a butler, That would be a story for another day.

Unfortunately the fact that the young miss decided to go ahead and perform a forbidden ritual had attracted her father's displeasure, Though he managed to stop word from spreading it still didn't mean he wasn't irritated by his daughters actions.

His slight irritation could be seen as an act of mercy since the only outcome for those who practiced such forbidden ritual's was Death!.

Unlike vampires or other supernatural who could turn humans into their own kind with ease, for a Werewolf(shifter) to turn one into their own kind was in a way close to impossible.

Anyone who was to be turned would always die an excruciating death, It was a known fact that only one had ever survived the turning ritual yet the ruler's of the supernatural world still marked such an act as forbidden due to the repercussions the turned shifter brought about.

If it where any other pack member her father would've severed their heads without hesitation!, As for any random supernatural, So long as they practiced the forbidden Shifter Transformation ritual, Even if they weren't a Shifter like her, their only outcome would remain the same.

Lu Xin's existence was so problematic that the only thing their Alpha could think of since he found out was of how he would eradicate this human youth before other's found out but when he learned that his own daughter was actually fond of this ritual "turned" he decided against punishing his daughter.

As her father, just like Sasha he also knew about her uneventful past if not more, the fact that his cold and detached daughter was finally fond of another again made, to him, it was a matter of utmost joy.
