Chapter 25, You sure

" Wait what are doing" Lu Xin furrowed his brows, he unconsciously tried moving back when he saw her take a step towards him only to come to the realization that he was still tied up without any chance of moving in the slightest.

Against his expectations he felt a surge of fear growing within him at the moment as if instinctual which baffled him.

"Stay back!, I said stay back!!!" 

" Don't come any closer you hear me!"

" Am warning you, don't come any closer!!!!" he screamed at her yet against his wishes she kept on moving towards him, with each step she took the shorter the distance between them became, Lu Xin who saw her slowly approaching him felt his heart thump rapidly the closer she got, her every step causing the fear within him to grow.

The more he felt those feelings growing the more frightened he became, his face was soon sweating buckets the more he felt her cold gaze on him, without hesitation he quickly replied " Hey Hey but that doesn't mean it's my number one preference, Don't forget it's not so hard to change right?, people do that all the time!" 

" You sure?..." Emily suddenly came to halt, her expression quickly returned to normal as she asked meekly, her eye's looking downwards with her cheeks turning warm and rosy.

" Y-Your saying you'll start liking girls like me instead?" 

Seeing her 180 turn Lu Xin was completely stunned yet at the same time felt as if a heavy burden had been lifted off his shoulders.

He took a breath, his face similar to one who was suddenly exhausted. " Of course..." He smiled lightly yet his eye's looked helpless at the moment.

" Yes!!, I knew it ^^" Emily jumped up in excitement, she looked earnestly happy hearing his reply.

" in that case we can finally get on with the ritual!!" Emily said looking excited, her sapphire eyes beaming with joy and happiness.

' Wait what did you just say‽' Lu Xin exclaimed inwardly, he wanted to resist again but to his surprise Emily who stood before him suddenly extended her right hand, her nails gleaming underneath the moonlight before she cleanly used them to slit her left wrist.

Though her wrist was bleeding profusely, she still had an earnest smile on her face, her affectionate eyes filled with warmth as she stared towards Lu Xin with her left arm out stretched towards him.

" All you have to do now is drink this and we'll finally be together ^^" She said, her lips arched into a sweet and loving smile.

Looking at the current Emily with her bleeding wrist and loving smile, Lu Xin's Adams apple trembled lightly, he gulped down his saliva completely unnerved at the moment.

Emily watched with expectant eyes, Her glistening crimson blood dripped down her slim wrist, falling ever so gently but to her dismay in the end, Lu Xin clamped his mouth shut refusing to let it fall in, his once mesmerizing eyes were now filled with determination and unwillingness as he glared back at her cold and wintery sapphire blue eyes.

Emily creased her brows when she saw his unwillingness to drink and seeing her newfound expression the desperate Lu Xin thanked his luck thinking he'd caught on to some path of escape.

Without hesitation he quickly added

" There's no way am doing that!!!" 

" What on earth is even wrong with you‽, Not only did you kidnap me but now you expect me to drink your own blood?" Lu Xin said through gritted teeth, refusing to even taste the crimson blood that dripped onto his luscious lips as he stared back at Emily.

" What do you even take me for?, Your plaything?!!"

"Your dreaming if you think I'll let you pour that shit into my mouth–" Lu Xin said while gritting his teeth, even now he still tried his best to resist but...

BAM!!!

With lightning like reflexes, her other hand which looked smooth and slender no doubt punched ruthlessly onto his gut without a second thought, though protected by his chiseled abs the full strength behind the punch was beyond Lu Xin's expectations!.

That simple punch of hers knocked out all the air in Lu Xin's lungs instantaneously.

Gwuah!!!

Lu Xin's eyes nearly protruded from there sockets as he spat out a mixture of saliva and fresh blood at once.

" Will you please stop this already...., if you keep on resisting me, I assure you that you'll only experience something far more excruciating than one measley punch...." Emily said as her eyes glistened coldly, Lu Xin who was struggling dearly not to convulse and suffocate felt his back turn deathly cold just from that gaze of hers alone.

' Just what was wrong with this woman?' He thought, inwardly he'd never felt so vexed before.
