Beast Hunting

After a while, he had made up his mind and said, "I have to go beast hunting".

As soon as his parents left the house, he went into their room and "borrowed" a sword and bestiary for his beast hunt.

He set out for a forest inhabited by low level beasts. He was as stealthy as a six year old could possibly be because he knew he was no match for the higher level beasts in his present state.

From what he knew, beasts were ranked in order of Basic tier, Intermediate tier, Advanced tier, King tier, Emperor tier, Super tier, Legend tier, Omega tier, Cosmic tier and Divine tier.

In his true form, he could easily have defeated even Divine tier beasts but in his human form, he knew he could barely defeat a Basic tier beast, so he treaded the forest carefully.

After a while, he found a beast he believed to be a basic tier beast. Using the bestiary, he confirmed it was a basic tier beast called a Millenary monkey. It had blue skin and white fur with jagged teeth. It could also increase its size temporarily.

He decided to sneak up on it and finish it off as fast as he could. Unfortunately, he accidentally stepped on a twig and it snapped, alerting the monkey. The monkey roared at Crimson and charged at him, with each step it took, its size grew further until it was the size of a small hill. "Curse my shit luck, how am I supposed to beat this thing", Crimson thought.

As he was thinking about this, he was hit by the monkey's tail and sent flying into a tree. "Argh", he groaned in pain. The monkey came closer to him and tried to stomp on him, but he managed to roll out of the way in time to avoid the attack. He tried to stand up but he couldn't due to the pain.

"I can't lose again, not to a basic tier beast, I am the freaking Dragon God Of Destruction", he roared. As he said this, his eyes and the dragon mark on his wrist began to glow a bright red.

Some mysterious messages appeared before him.

[Congratulations, you have unlocked the dragon god system]

He brushed them aside and focused on killing the beast. He noticed his injuries were healing at a visible rate. "My powers are coming back to me, prepare to be smited, useless beast, and soon after all my foes with you", Crimson said out loud.

He charged at the beast and slashed at it with his "borrowed" sword, the beast roared in pain and increased its size further. He was beginning to feel dizzy, "No, you stupid human body, don't fail me now", he thought and tried to fight it but he knew it was a losing battle.

"I have to finish it off and fast", he thought. Using the last of his strength, he attacked it in a frenzy leaving small cuts on its body. He jumped onto a tree and began to climb up the tree, from the tree, he jumped as high as he could and slashed at its head. The head of the beast rolled onto the ground.

"Finally, I have done it", he said, he heard a ding and thought of the previous messages, but before he could check them out, he passed out.

He woke up hours later and looked around. Luckily, the beast was still there, he went up to the head of the beast and severed it further but found nothing, he went to the body of the beast and cut it open revealing the beast core in its chest. "Just what I was looking for", he thought.

He decided to look for more basic tier beasts, he found another basic tier beast called a skunk bug. It was basically a large bug that secretes stinky goop. He snuck up on it and slashed at one of its legs cutting it clean off. It shot some of the goop at him but he managed to dodge it, he went up close to the beast while evading the goop. He severed its head sending black blood flying everywhere. He took out the beast core. "Two basic tier beast cores in the first hunt, not too bad", he thought.

He heard a ding and remembered the messages, he decided to check them out.
