"Ihioajsioasmas..."

An incoherent sound, which instantly disappeared from his consciousness, travelled in Moon's head upon waking up. Just as he opened his eyes, he experienced a slight headache. It felt like he had slept on the wrong side of the bed and was now suffering the consequences.

He rubbed his fingers on his eyelids, and remembered his dream.

'I've succeeded!' he thought and slightly smiled out of relief.

He was currently inside a black horse carriage, totally alone in the passenger seat as he leaned onto the wall like a wasted man, who had barely gotten any sleep. Hitting his eyelashes, the sun brightened the curtains of the windows as it shone on his handsome face.

Half-awake, he willing opened his eyes, revealing a dark crimson pair of jewels.

'Let's see.'

He made an attempt to re-envision his dream, but just like how dreams worked from what he believed, even though he remembered some, he could not remember anything further besides the huge cavernous hall as if something – a wall or a screen of anti-dream – were blocking his thoughts.

Immediately, he came to remember that he was on a trip and was travelling.

After saying goodbye to a friend of his parents, leaving his mansion, he rented a carriage for two days, stayed inside and ever since then he had not woken up, until now.

"Where am I now?" He said, and swayed the curtains to the side.

What filled his vision was a large caravan going inside the city gates, in a snake-like brown road which came from an eclipse of tall rocky green mountains.

Daffodils, greenish and yellowish, some even velvet flowers were in full bloom on the side, giving the passengers looking outside of the carriages of the caravan a breathtaking impression.

Moon's vehicle was already inside the city, and was parked at an elevated position, near a cliff, so he could see the overview of the event.

Outside, there were camping tents, and busy men taking care of improvised shelters, made of logs, bamboos, and several other things. The population outside were great, and he could see the liveliness akin to a festival.

Seeing the whole scene, he wanted to go out.

He was part of this large group who hailed all the way from the capital.

A group of merchants, soldiers, mercenaries, tourists, migrators, and businessmen; they decided to band together, to go to this city.

A city called Oregon. It was located on the eastern part of the country, a countryside, but recently, it became one of the bustling cities in the nation with a potential to become a top ranked location in the next few years.

Getting to Oregon was Moon's most recent important mission. Hence, he rode with the caravan.

All journeys in this world were by no means peaceful. Monsters grew consistently in places outside of civilizations, in rates that clearing them out and settling cities in was too difficult to maintain.

Such danger in the road was not something he could take at the slightest manner, and thus, renting a carriage, and paying the security fees of the caravan was a good deal. With more people monsters could potentially take instead of him, he also had hired mercenaries insuring his protection.

Since he just woke up, Moon wondered how much time he had spent inside, and nobody still woke him up.

Nonetheless, danger was not something he had to think of right now.

He remained sat on the passenger seat.

His eyes carried a trace of excitement and expectation as he inspected his palms.

A smile couldn't help but blossom on his youthful face when he thought about how he finally acquired his supernatural power.

His clarification as a dreamer.

"Hahahaha!"

Chuckling and holding the same thought, he started to strip his clothes leaving only his undergarments in his body, uncaring if the driver, some onlooker, or the hundreds of people outside would catch him off guard and witness his stark-naked manhood.

"Where is it?"

He muttered to himself, thinking where the tattoo – indicating someone had supernatural powers – had imprinted itself on his body.

But alas, no matter how much and where he looked, he could not see the tattoo.

"Maybe if it's in my neck, the top of my head, or my face." He listed down all the things he could not expect, including his butt and back.

Suddenly he craved for a mirror.

But knowing he had nothing of the sort, a sharp nervous breath came out of his mouth.

Someone was knocking on his door, but despite being naked, it appeared like he could not even sense that.

He was too preoccupied with a tattoo of something on a bad spot on his body.

It was great, very great, he was now a special ability user, but what would he do if a tattoo was on his face? Or his butt?

'This is not funny. I'm not even a fan of tattoos in the first place. But it's not impossible. If I remember, several Dreamers had their marks on their faces."

Moon imagined the faces of popular ability users he saw in books and real life, some of them even heroes mentioned in popular stories.

He could vividly remember laughing at them sometimes, thinking how unlucky they were, but to think he could be one of them was not funny at all.

Meanwhile, the person knocking on the door could hear that no one was responding, when it had been two days since they started travelling.

"What was the boy inside doing?"

"He never came out all this time, not even pee or anything."

"Who is the boy anyway?"

"I have no idea. He just paid me ten gold for the trip, but from the way he was dressed, maybe he is a noble."

"How old was he?"

"Pretty young. Mid-teens."

Creak.

Hearing the answer, a man pulled the door and it opened slowly.

Moon turned his head around, and saw two men in their thirties dressed in a shabby outfit and a top hat. As expected, they could see him in great view, and it shocked them.

But at the same time, they could see a slightly glowing black tattoo with a dark red shade on the back of his neck.

"A Dreamer?" One of the men stated.

It was unknown who among them spoke this, but Moon felt a huge smile on his face arise.

A Dreamer, there was only one way someone could immediately tell his identity by looking at him.

Under their stares, he then smiled slightly, it was very pleasant news he had confirmed that he was not dreaming at all.

Seeing his smile, the two men then retreated a little, and bowed their head lightly for they have caught him in a vulnerable state, and closed the door back.
