Chapter 15 - quinter

It had been two months since Lucifer finished his training with the Edwards it was the morning before his 11th birthday and he was taking a shower to prepare for the school

Not much had changed in these three and a half months except for Lucifer doing his daily routine and maximizing his stamina

Right now Lucifer was singing in the shower while holding his jet spray as a mic

After some time he exited the bathroom and wore his white school uniform, blue school jeans, and black laced shoes then he ate his breakfast with dignity and left for school

When he entered his classroom he was greeted by the gloomy face of Alexis and Alex trying to cheer her up

Lucifer went near the two and asked,

"Hey their Mrs ugly head why the gloomy face"

Alexis saw Lucifer and almost cried,

"*sob*... We are going to be moving out the day after tomorrow "

Lucifer's face was stern he wasn't surprised he knew that after the incident with the portal Alexis's grandpa would surely want them to return where it is safe for them and not only him but all the people would want the next head's safety first

He sat on his chair and said,

"Well it can't be helped after that portal incident even I would want my family to move out of this entire country "

Alexis was shocked and exclaimed

"You! Are you not even a little bit sad that your friend is going to go away?!"

Lucifer said with a stern face

"I am sad but you must understand Alexis everyone has their own life they must live through it you have a life ahead of you that you will have to live even if you don't want to"

Alexis stuttered while a tear rolled down her cheek

"Bu-but i-its not fair "

*Sigh*

Lucifer sighed and wept her tear with his hand then said

"Life isn't always fair Alexis and besides it's not like we are being separated forever let's meet again when we are stronger"

Alexis sobbed but nodded in the end

"Hey I have an idea why don't you come to my house tomorrow to celebrate my birthday "

Alexis immediately cheered up, Lucifer then turned to look at the window of the classroom from where one could see the field as it was on the ground floor

"*Sigh* and you are also invited Noah just stop grinning like a perverted geezer "

Noah rose his head from the other side of the window and was grinning like a pervert

"Eh? Whatever do you mean my best friend"

He said

Lucifer shut the window on his face

The rest of the day went by smoothly as nothing else occurred

The next day arrived and Lucifer got out of his room wearing full sleeve blue shirt, and white full pants

"Hey their brother looking like a stud as always "

Alice Lucifer's big sister said with a soft smile

"Big sis you are back from high school?!"

Lucifer exclaimed

"Of course stupid how could I miss my cute little brother's birthday"

She said as she hugged Lucifer warmly

"Oh so she is the only only one who gets a hug, and he is cute then was I raised by chimpanzees is that why you don't love me "

A voice sounded from behind Alice as a figure entered the house it was rex Lucifer's big brother

"Big bro you are also back from the middle school"

Lucifer said as he hugged rex

"Yup my little champ by the way try to guess what I brought for you"

Rex said making Lucifer smile wryly

"Oh please if it is you then it must be poop-related "

Alice said while crossing her arms

"What did you say, sis, it's you who don't understand the ambitions of men"

Rex said making Lucifer think

'Just what kind of ambition is he talking about because I want no part of it '

All of them talked for a while and went to the dining hall

"Oh yeah mom some of my friends are coming along"

Lucifer said to his mother

"I know Noah right"

She said with a soft smile

"No there are going to be two more "

He said

Everyone widened their eyes but Alice said jokingly

"Ohhh is it a girl, just kidd-"

Before she could finish she was interpreted by Lucifer

"Yeah"

Everyone widened their eyes again but Lucifer's mother said with a big smile

"Finally the sun has risen in my son's life, I thought no one was going to marry him since he was always training but I guess there is someone who can see his charm, you stupid boy why didn't you say this earlier I have to make the best cake ever "

While rex cried imaginary tears, Alice giggled and James was coaching him about a woman's heart

Finally, the morning and the afternoon passed and the evening arrived

Noah was the first to arrive

"Hey their birthday boy guess what I bought for"

Noah said excitedly

"I will be glad with anything as long as it's not related to poop "

Lucifer said with a wry smile

Noah was surprised a bit but understood the situation then they laughed to their heart's content

After a while, Alex and Alexis came

Alex was in a black suit which you would find on a butler and Alexis was wearing a beautiful blue dress

"You look great "

Lucifer commented while smiling which made Alexis blush

Then Alexis was rained with questions by Emma and Alice

"What do you like about my boy?"

Emma asked

"Isn't he just adorable?"

Alice asked

"Y-yeah"

Alexis said while failing to keep up with them

Then came the cake cutting ceremony and Lucifer wished that the time would stop because he was happier than he ever had been as he was an orphan in his previous life and never had friends but everything must come to an end no matter how good it is

Lucifer walked onto the balcony and the cold breeze brush his face as he was remembering everything that happened after he came to this world and how much more would happen

Just then Alexis came to the balcony and said,

"The moon is quite beautiful isn't it," she said,

"Yeah," he said,

"I have something for you "

Saying that she took out a 5 cm long box and opened it revealing a golden ring with a beautiful wolf design,

"Here this is for you," she said

"Wow, cool thanks," he said, And then he put the ring on his index finger then raised his hand to look at it,

"I will cherish it dearly," he said,

"You better or I will peel your skin off," she said

"Sounds painful," he said

"Cause it is," she said

Then they laughed together and went back to the party

When the party ended Lucifer was seeing Alexis and Alex off as Noah thought of staying over,

"We reached the destination this will probably be the last time we see each other face to face for a while keep in contact "

Lucifer said with a pained smile and started walking toward his house, he had only walked for a few steps when he heard a voice

"LUCIFER!"

He turned around to see Alexis running in his direction and then when she reached him she kissed his cheek

"You better get stronger because my grandpa won't accept a weak man "

She said and ran toward the car with a blushing face with Alex who also left with a sly smile

Lucifer was momentarily stunned and couldn't process what just happened then he felt an awkward sensation that made him scream internally

'Great! as if being in a corny novel wasn't enough let's add some raging teenage hormones '

He cursed internally while walking toward his house but he didn't dislike the kiss

When he reached the house he helped his mother with the dishes and as it was the night time he changed into his pajamas

Then he went to sleep but then something unexpected happened

[Ding! A quest has been received

the continent of Rio has four great middle

schools where many heroes come from,

enter the middle school of quinter which is

said to be the weakest among the four

schools and regain its past glory by winning

the middle school championship of Rio

which is held every year before graduating

Warning! Warning!

Failure to complete the mission will result

In the removal of the system
