Chapter 14 - training with the Edwards

In a wasteland, many figures were seen these figures weren't humans but undead and there wasn't just one type but many types

Such as thousands of skeleton soldiers and zombies, hundreds of dark wolves, many two-headed dogs that were the same size as a two-story building, many golems of different types, many more undead mages, and knights on horses

And even the sky was full of the many bone dragons, zombie dragons, many black dragons, and human figures with black wings were floating among them

In the middle of these undead, a single man was sitting on a throne his face was covered by his black hair and only his mouth and nose were visible one hand was on the side of the throne and the other hand's elbow was on the other side and his face lying on his hand made into a fist

Suddenly the man was surprised but then smiled and said in a dark voice,

"So you are the one, I see that you are enjoying your new life and progressing quite fast, fine then let me give you a tip, do not resist the feeling of death it is just another part of life and you are death itself, death follows you wherever you go but it cannot control you, on the other hand, you are the one who controls death, now go, you have a long journey ahead of you"

He said and everything went black,

"AAAHHHHHHH!!!" Lucifer screamed and his heartbeat quickened

The doctors rushed inside the room and checked the sweating Lucifer who was breathing heavily

When they finally left after checking Lucifer and making sure that he was perfectly fine he thought to himself,

'What the hell was that system!? '

He then got up from his bed as he was being discharged today, he wore a black hoody and blue jeans with blue sports shoes

He walked out of the room and then out of the hospital and was greeted by Robert beside a limo he then said,

"Greetings master Lucifer please get in the car I will take you to our location"

He opened the door and Lucifer got in after Robert had been driving for a while lucifer chose to ask a question that had been bothering him,

"Hey old man I have been meaning to ask you a question can I "

"Of course ask away" Robert replied,

"What is your mage rank and don't even think about saying that you are a normal person I won't believe you"

"Hohoho, you are a sharp kid alright fine then it's not like it's some top secret I am a grand magus rank" he replied

Lucifer widened his eyes but quickly hid his surprise and was silent for the rest of the ride

They arrived in front of a three-story high mansion which was blue on the exterior and 5,000 square feet, Robert drove the car inside the mansion and the gates opened, he then told Lucifer to get out of the car while he went to park the car

While Lucifer was waiting for Robert to return the door in the front of the mansion opened and a girl walked out of the mansion in a white dress, pink skirt, and pink sandals

It was Alexis who was rushing toward Lucifer

Lucifer was momentarily stunned by her beauty, Alexis, of course, noticed it and blushed a bit but then she teased,

"Did you fall head over heels for me ?"

Lucifer was brought out of his daze and said with a smirk,

"As if, no matter how much you dress up you will still be Mrs closet pervert for me, now would you mind giving me a tour Mrs closet pervert "

Alexis's mouth twitched a bit but then she said with a smile,

"Of course Mr devil incarnation"

With that lucifer's tour around the Edward mansion began

After meeting up with Alex and looking around the mansion they arrived at the backyard of the mansion where his training would start

Mr. and Mrs. Edward were already there to train him,

"Okay first things first we cant help you advance in rank we can only help you to use your mana effectively, first of all, place your hand on this crystal and insert your mana this will let us see what elements you have"

Jack said and took out a crystal ball and placed it forward for Lucifer to take

Lucifer took the crystal from Jack and inserted his mana into the crystal

The crystal showed clouds of the colors black, green, purple, and red

Everyone in the room except for Lucifer widened their eyes,

Alexa was the first one to break the silence

"Amazing you have an affinity with four elements darkness, wind, lightning, and fire "

Lucifer couldn't help but ask,

"Is that amazing"

Alex said,

"It is more than amazing there are seven elements in total most people only feel one element, people who feel two elements are called genius, and people who can use three elements are called genius above genius, while those who can use four elements in the world can be counted with two hand, and the ones who can use five elements can be counted with one hand "

Lucifer then asked,

"Then what about people with six and seven elements "

Alex shrugged and said,

"There aren't any who can use six elements but there are two who can use seven elements"

Lucifer said,

"Let me guess one of those is your grandpa"

Alex smiled and said,

"Ding ding ding! And the price goes to Mr. Lucifer, yeah you are right and the other is our Mrs. Closet pervert "

Lucifer widened his eyes and looked at Alexis who was puffing her chest with pride

Then jack said,

"Ok ok that is enough nonsense let's start with the training, it is really simple in the first three stages of the mage path you use raw mana but after you have reached intermediate mage you have to apply the mana so that the spell being released is effective, let's say for example if you use raw mana to light a fire it can only burn a room but if you amplify it to only fire mana particles then you can burn down the entire house do you get it"

Lucifer nodded and jack continued,

Lucifer sat on the ground cross-legged and started meditating he sat like this for two hours until he finally entered a calm state of mind

He then tried to fill his mana core with red particles, then he raised his head forward and said

"Fire bullet"

Immediately a 5 cm long bullet made of fire was launched out of his hand and hit a big rock and destroyed

Jack then said

"Very good you are quite talented it took me five hours when it was my first time, now Alexa will take over from here "

Alexa said

"Ok first things first mana can be used in two ways one in external use and the other in internal use what you just did was external use of mana now take lightning particles and fill your mana core with it then rather than focusing it to form a shape outside focus it on your legs "

Lucifer got up and went into the calm state again he filled his mana core with lightning particles then he focused the energy towards his legs

Immediately after he felt a jolt and started running when he stopped he felt that he was at least two times fast

When he was done jack said

"For the next month and a half, we will make you train in the effectiveness of the magic "

Lucifer was in deep thinking until he finally said

"Do you have some kind of training chamber, I just got an idea I want to test out "

Jack and Alexa looked at each other and then Alexa said

"Sure follow me I will lead you to the underground training chamber"

With that said all of them made their way to the training chamber

When they arrived at the training chamber Lucifer saw that it was entirely made of metal plates and it was as big as a basketball Field

Then Lucifer went in front of a metal wall and then in his hand, he made a sphere of wind particles in the sphere he first added fire particles and then he added some lightning particles and then immediately hit the wall with the sphere

The sphere exploded and the wall was completely destroyed with a big crack on it

Everyone had their mouths agape and jack asked in a shocked voice

" wha-what was that?!"

Lucifer answered with a smile

"Well to be exact when I first mixed fire particles and lighting particles I couldn't help but make it explode but now that I have trained a bit and can feel the mana I can first make a sphere of wind particles and inside it, I just mix fire and lightning particles at the ratio of 4:6 and then you can see the result "

He explained it and it sounded very simple but only the Edwards who specialized in magic knew how hard it really was and all of them couldn't help but think in unison
