Luckas stared dazedly at nothing for an instant and grinned.

While he was still confused, when he read the interface in front of him, he started to piece things together.

-" So this is the famous transmigration after death with a system from the novels from my past world." Luckas was feeling euphoric.

-" Hahahaha, not bad, dying young just so I can have a chance to become a dragon among men with help of my peerless system?" I take that."

Luckas read the complete interface to better understand the system

-" Cultivation Augments System, so is a system that gives me a bonus in my cultivation?" Luckas continued to read the system, the interface was simple with the name of the system at the top and five buttons that led to a diagram like "talent tree".

Luckas selected one of the buttons and got a better view of the talent tree, he selected the one he was most familiar with, the symbol of the button was a human in the lotus position with a ball next to the navel, Qi was written under the illustration.

The talent tree took three paths, as he tried to see the contents of the paths he noticed that all of them were blacked out, he switched to the next talent tree, the next one he selected was the middle one, the illustration of the middle one was a human with a spirit behind him,

the name written under it was "Shen", just the same as the first one, all the paths of the talent tree was locked too.

-" Maybe the paths will only unlock after I start to cultivate?" Luckas continued to think as he checked the last one of the bottom three buttons.

The illustration of the last one was an arm flexing its muscle, Jing was written underneath it, he didn't bother to check it further, he switched his focus to the two icons on the top, both of them were blacked out and didn't have their name shown too.

-" Looks l need a few cultivation techniques." Luckas smirked as he remembered the system novels of his past world. "System do I have some rewards or beginners package to open?"

Luckas waited enthusiastically for the system response, but after waiting awkwardly for a few moments he sighed.

-" Looks like I'm ain't getting any help, huh, but my system looks a bit too stingy, not even taking into consideration that it doesn't have an AI, it didn't even give me a newcomers package." Luckas mood instantly dropped. "He should at least help me in translation right?"

Luckas continued to mess around with the system as he explored the surroundings, he made his first priority to find a city so he can test whether or not he can communicate, he walked around aimlessly for about half an hour and eventually found a river

After quenching his thirst he decided to follow the river downstream, he thought he would have better chances of finding people if he continued the path of the river, in his way he found a lot of stranges animals, some of them were exactly the same as his past word, while others were slightly different.

In his way he didn't find any aggressive animals, the closest encounter was when a wolf was drinking water by the riverside, but he was on the opposite shore. still, the shock made him be more careful and he started to pay more attention to his surroundings, only after about 2 hours of walking in the downstream direction that he found traces of civilization.

Luckas found some boats on the shore of the river, a few meters from the boats he found a wooden house, he approached it and knocked on the door, not receiving a response he decided to follow a trail behind the house.

After a few minutes on the trail, a small village appeared in his sight, Luckas was anxious, before he got too close to the village he smeared dirt in his body and threw away his shoes.

He was worried that the villages would be suspicious of him, after all, a young man with strange clothes suddenly approaching the village would really be weird, especially when the said young man looked completely fine.

Luckas formed a quick backstory to explain his situation and continued in the direction of the village, as he approached some of the villages in the fields noticed him, as he got closer one man started to walk towards him.

-" Excuse me, I got lost from my group, can you please tell me where I am right now and how can I go to the nearest city? Luckas awkwardly asked.

-" We are at the grey river village, the closest city to here is Starfhampton City about 4 hours in the direction that you came from." As the man answered Luckas made a mental note about the information.

-" Could you please let me rest for a bit in the village?" Luckas voice was shaking as he continued.

The villager looked at Luckas with suspicion in his eye. -" If you want to stay in the villae you'll need to ask the elder". The man waved in the direction of the rest of the watching villagers, as he did that two other men started to walk towards them.

-" We will guide you to the elder." The first man said as the other two reached them.

As luckas was being guided to the elder, people all around the village looked at him with doubt and suspicion, he felt odd, he expected that people would be wary of him but not to this extent.

After reaching one of the biggest houses of the village, one man entered and a few moments later he gestured me to enter. Sitting on a table in the middle of the house living room was an old man.

The old man's gaze was fixated on Luckas, this made him feel even more anxious, Luckas was about to speak when the door opened again and a young man walked in.

-" Did you call me Chief?" The young man eyes swept the room and stopped briefly in Luckas.

-" Yes, sit down, we will talk later, first I need to resolve this situation. This young man is asking for a brief stay in the village."

As the young man sat Luckas could feel a faint heat from his body, while luckas felt that the heat couldn't burn him it made him feel restricted and awkward, Luckas thought that the young man next to him must be a cultivator.

Luckas gulped, he felt conflicted while he felt lucky to meet a cultivator so soon he was nervous too, after all, all villagers were too cold and distant to him, he didn't know what to do if they refused to help him.

-" So could you tell us how did you end up here alone?" The old man interrupted Luckas thoughts and got straight to the point.
