"Are you willing to give up the friendship you have with him, aren't you?" Mrs. Lee repeated the question.
"P– pardon?"
Mrs. Lee had a hard time to convince Halora. She knew it was a selfish favor but she couldn't either accept that her daughter suffered too because of the man that she couldn't have and even hold tight.
As a mother, she wanted the best for her children. And the only thing that will make Sandra happy was to be loved by her ultimate crush, Sebastian Woo.
She let go of Halora's hands, gasped for cold air that calmed down her mind and soul. "I... I am asking you to help out my daughter. I... I know this sounds too cruel but I am begging you, Halora... to just convince your friend to at least give Sandra a chance!"
For a couple of minutes, Halora was left speechless. How could she react to a thing that she can't understand? How could she give up the man she loves to a girl with selfish mindset?
