Chapter 6 : Akari's proposal

When he pointed his fingers towards the swimming pool, the water in the pool started to form a whirlpool and many birds made of water flew out of it and moved towards momo circling around her , which made her to exclaim in awe, the birds that were circling around her suddenly changed its shape in to a beautiful butterfly,which made her admire its beauty and started chasing them happily like a child ( oh yeah ,she is really a child) . Nick was happy to see her playing with the water made butterflies.

In this past one week he had made more progress in his water control and he can now control these small things for more than 4 hours and can make them change in to any small shapes as he wishes. His observation haki also made progress , now he can sense more than 200m around him.

Seeing her playing with the butterflies for more than 10 minutes, he made the butterfly combine in to a single fist with the size of a football and smashed it in the near by rock, which nearly smashed quarter of the rock and then water splashed over it , momo was shocked after seeing this but soon she became awestruck again and came infront of nick with a brigh smile," That's so awesome nick kun ,so you can control water huh!, it's really a powerful quirk" she said excitedly and she was happy that her friend has got such a powerful ability. Nick was also proud when he looked at her face which was filled with admiration,but didn't say anything and just smiled at her.

After that they returned to the mansion and it was already lunch time. Akio already left saying that he will pick nick up at night. Nick really enjoyed eating these delicious food and momo also ate a lot, since her quirk needed her to have more fat. Momo kept on talking about how powerful Nick's ability was and told her parents about what he did in the backyard which made nick slightly to blush at how she exaggerated his abilities. Chikasi( momo's dad) was listening to her explanations while eating and akari was just smiling while looking at her daughter who has never been this much happier before, She now likes nick more and more and a crazy thought appeared in her mind.

After having a sumptuous lunch , momo pulled nick towards her room which was what he was expecting from last week. when he entered her room what greeted him was a neat and tidy room with pink walls, pink celing , it was basically a room filled with pink colour. There were lots of books on the wooden compartment and there were many cute looking fluffy dolls on her pink coloured bed. She pulled him and made him sit on the bed and showed him various small gadgets that she made herself happily and looked at his face with an expectant look that said " praise me, praise me"

Nick off course understood her and praised her by,saying that she was a genius which made her smile more. while she went to bring some other gadgets, nick called sarah and told her to sign-in.

So he waited and momo came back , they started taking about their abilities and various other things.While talking he heard a prompt from sarah,

[ Sign-in is successful ]

[ Mission : Sign in at Momo yaoyorazu's room for 10 minutes] ( completed)

[ Rewards : Shunpo ]

"Master do you want to fuse the shunpo skill now ?" Sarah asked for which nick told her to wait till he goes back home.

At the same time nick and momo were chatting in her room,In the study room downstairs both chikasi and akari were having a conversation." Honey nick is such a good child, he is considerate, full of energy and more importantly he makes momo more happy , Why don't we tell him to stay with us, I really don't want to part with him" she said while looking at her husband expectantly.

Chikasi knew that his wife has decided and she is just informing him just for a formality, who made her the boss of this house. He smiled helplessly but he also quiet likes that child,who knows how to behave and he had this noble aura around him," I have no problem with this, but we have to ask akio and nick about it first,If they accept it then I have no problem" , he said, which earned him a kiss on his cheek from his wife" you are the best honey, I will go talk to nick, you talk to akio about it " she left immediately and went upstairs to talk with nick. Chikasi shook his head with a smile on his face and called akio.

When akari , entered momo's room , she saw them both happily chatting with each other. She smiled at them and went near nick and sat beside him ," Nick kun , how was your day, do you like being here with momo and aunty" she asked affectionately while rubbing his hair with her palm.

Nick felt warm from her palm and he loved it, for a guy who never experienced motherly love , this was all new for him and he really liked it ," Yes mad...umm ... akari san, I have not been this happy in a very long time and I really liked being with you guys " he said it from his heart.

Akari smiled gently and said " Then why don't stay here with us from now on , we can take care of you and momo also likes being with you , isn't momo? ". she looked at momo. Momo immediately nodded her head like a chicken and looked towards nick with a puppy eyes and said " what mother said is really true nick kun, if you are here I will be really happy and we can play together and train together , so please stay here with us , please, please , please".she had tears in her eyes that were ready to breakout and she looked with a hopeful eyes towards him.

Nick didn't know what to tell , looking at both mother and daughter staring at him waiting for his answer he really didn't know how to react at this moment "Akari san , I am really happy that you wanted me to stay here and I also like to stay here with you but I can't decide it all of the sudden , can I take sometime to think about it , I will tell the answer before going home tonight " he asked , he really needed time to think this through.

Akari was a little disappointed but also understood him , she was also happy that he didn't reject them and he was really considering what she had told him , so she told " It's okay nick kun , you take as much as time you want . Even if you don't wanna stay here,we don't mind it and you can come here anytime you want" but momo was not happy and her tears started to pour out.

Looking at her like this nick turned his head towards akari for help but she just stood up and left the room like she didn't want to get involved in this. Nick shook his head helplessly and moved towards momo and wiped her tears with his fingers and said " momo chan you only look beautiful when you smile ,when you cry your face becomes ugly you know", his words made her angry, " who is ugly ,you are ugly, you are the one who made me cry " she said looking at him with a pout on her lips which was so cute

Nick gently held her shoulder and placed her head on his shoulder and said ," I really need time to think about this momo chan, I can't decide this suddenly because this is about my future , so give me some time okay".

She blushed and nodded her head which made nick to heave a sigh of relief. He felt like an oldman trying to kidnap children with a coaxing words. Then he asked momo to bring him something to drink,for which she happily accepted and immediately left the room to bring him a juice.

Nick saw her leaving figure and shook his head then started to think about the pros and cons of staying here, 'First cons, are that I can't go out when ever I want and my talents may get exposed to momo and her parents, but I only need to go out if I get a mission, I can make some excuses and I can leave the mansion to complete my missions, it's not like they are gonna lock me like a prisoner and,as for showing them my talents,I can trust momo since she will be my lover in the future and my instincts are telling me that I can trust Akari and chikasi.But I won't show my other powers to them except momo and that too I will show it to her only in the future, as for training those other abilities , there is a big forest behind the mansion, I can easily sneak in there with my shunpo and train there'.

'About the pros, One - I can get a very powerful backing, although akio is powerful financially , he can't be compared with a giant called Yaoyorazu family. Two - I don't need to be scared of being attacked by any villains and worried about my safety, Three - I can get a powerful trainer to train me, Four - I can finally feel the warmth of having a family which I never had before, Five - I get to spend more time with momo and can make her more stronger than she was in the anime and Six - I can get to live my life luxuriously in this mansion , who hadn't dreamt of living a luxurious life and I am getting a chance now so I should enjoy it'.

Since pros are more than cons and cons are not that much serious , he decided to stay here and live with them.When he came back from his thoughts , he looked at momo who was laying on the bed with her hands supporting her chin staring at him.

She came back 5 minutes ago but when she saw him in his own thoughts,she understandingly placed the juice in the table near him and quietly went to the bed. Even though she is just 5 yrs old , she is actually mature for her age and she knew what to do at this situation and left him at his own thoughts.( some may ask then why did she cry just few minutes ago , that's because even though she is mature for her age , she is still a child. she couldn't control her emotions by thinking that the first friend she got wouldn't want to stay with her. Even many adults adults couldn't control their emotions many time)

When momo saw that nick has come back from his thoughts, she smiled at him. Nick smiled back at her and asked, "did I make you wait momo chan?", for which she shook her head .

" Ok momo chan , I have made my decision, come let's go meet your parents" he stood up from the bed and walked downstairs and momo quickly followed behind him nervously thinking about the decision he made.
