Carmilla Faction II

As the light is gone, I look around and see that we are inside a dense forest. If Elmenhilde is correct, we have arrived near the Carmilla faction's main base. We follow Elmenhilde as she leads us to our destination.

After a minute of walking, I can see a castle stood in the middle of the forest. I also see that the castle is on fire. Twelve evil dragons surround the castle. Ten of them stood on the ground, hunting for prey, and two of them flying above the castle, raining down fire upon the castle.

"Carol Medea, Take care of the dragon that flies above the castle. Kushina Mordred led the others to take care of the one on the ground. Taylor Amelia, search and rescue. Sun and mist to me!"

After saying that, I activate the Fiamma shoes and fly toward the castle at high speed. Behind me are Taylor and Amelia, while Elmenhilde and Millarca already fly ahead to help their kind.

"Taylor, search for anyone that is still alive!"

"Roger"

Hearing my word, Taylor began to use her power to control all the bugs around the area. This Taylor Herbert power to control Arthropods. She also can see through the animal she controls, and lately, she can use her lightning flame through her minion. With her multitasking ability, she can see through multiple insects at once, and she can control all insects in a radius of one Kilometer around her.

So when I see a swarm of thousands upon thousands of insects appear above the Carmilla castle I know it was Taylor's power in the work. When they arrive above our head, the insect then begins to scatter and search for injured people from fighting the Evil Dragon.

One by one, the body of the injured vampire gets dropped by a swarm of insects.

Seeing many bodies dropped in front of me, I create a barrier around us so that the Sun flame division can heal them without worrying about getting hit by the evil dragon.

"Mist division, to me! Amelia Taylor, I leave the people here in your hand. Sun Division, you will follow Amelia and Taylor's orders from now on. Mist Division to me! We will help the Carmilla faction defend their castle!"

After saying that, I immediately fly away from my guardian and lead the mist division to defend Carmilla castle.

However, as I arrive in front of the battle between one of the evil dragons and Queen Carmilla, I see that only her fighting and the rest of the vampire stay behind her watching. What makes me more suspicious is that they did not look worried and even looked at the fight in glee even though their leader is struggling fighting against the dragon by herself.

"I need you guys to restrain the dragon. I will try and finish it with a single blow."

"Understood!"

I summoned lily from the weapon box and immediately activated the Cambio Forma: Rifle. I immediately charge my gun with all dying flame types. When I see many creatures and even eldritch creatures pinning down the dragon, I pull the trigger of the rifle in my hand and fire a beam of destruction toward the evil dragon.

When my attack hits the dragon in its head, it explodes and consumes the entire dragon body. A few seconds later, I see the dragon head is gone and only a few chunks of the dragon body that still intact from my attack.

One dragon down, eleven more to go.

*Queen Carmilla POV*

It looks like I was saved.

I look down and see one that killed the dragon I was fighting. They consisted of humans and other races like Veela, Siren, and even Harpy. However, what makes me more shocked is that they follow the order of a human and a young one at that. Maybe 27 years old? No, by the smell of his blood, I'm guessing he is 21 or 22 years old.

"You must be Lord Vongola from the Vongola family."

"Oh? You know me?"

"Of course. That little Elmenhilde cannot lie to me when she says that she wants to take a walk in the afternoon. It is either she wants to go to the Vatican and beg for the help of our former ally, Fallen Angel, or she goes to the Vongola family."

Hmmm? I feel someone insulting my age.

"Oi, are you insulting me just now?"

"I don't know what you are talking about. Anyway, I have some questions for you."

"Go ahead."

"Why do you fight that dragon alone?"

I fly away from the young lord and arrive in front of the noble of the Carmilla faction.

"You are longer the queen of the Carmilla faction. We, the noble of the Carmilla faction, decide that we will not follow you any longer."

"Because you lose your way. You allow a lowly vampire to join our court. You allow a Dhampir to continue living. Now you allow the human to help you. You are a failure in leading us the vampire race."

"You?!? How could you say that?!? A vampire is a vampire even though they are low born! A dhampir is still our kind even though they are not fully vampires! And if not for those humans, we will be dead."

"Hmph, then it was evident that you were losing your touch! We are a vampire! We are an apex predator! And you ask for help from our prey?!? Pathetic!"

"Then what should I do?!?"

"You should search for power… Even if you sell your soul to the devil."

I widen my eyes when I see the Carmilla faction noble's body begin to change into a dragon. A few seconds later, I look up and see a giant dragon look down on me.

"This is our new power, O queen of the Carmilla faction. This is the power that you should choose instead of the help of humans…"

*BOOM*

I leap away from the former comrade and see that its head is gone. I look at my back and see Lord Vongola pointing his weapon toward the evil dragon.

"I know something fishy around here. There is no barrier around the area. The only one fighting for their life is a low-level vampire, and there is no one fighting the dragon outside the wall."

I see. I should have noticed it immediately. I really am a bad leader.

"Lord Vongola. I beg you. Please help the Carmilla faction! I will pay you with anything I got! Please!"

"Please raise your head. Elmenhilde already asked for our help, and our Vongola family intended to keep our promise."

"Thank you."

"No problem, but we still have a problem."

I look at my back and see the supposed dead dragon standing up once again, but this time it still has its head.

"You can't kill us! This is our new power!"

This isn't good.

The old hag former ally is up to no good. They accept Rizevim's offer to become an evil dragon. Not only do they become an evil dragon, but Rizevim also upgrades their regeneration so they cannot be killed easily.

However, the scale is not as tough as the previous dragon that attacks Faysummit, which is good, but regeneration will be a problem.

"What should we do?"

I look at the former Queen of Carmilla faction and say.

"We fight, of course."

"How? While we have the number, they have the power."

"Who decided that is the case?"

As if hearing my voice, the rest of my guardian arrives before me. Not only that, the people that are injured also appear near me.
