Out of the Cave

The two stood off for a minute. Jacob was trying to think of the ant's weakness, normally its nodes were an easy way to disable it from fighting and it caused them a great deal of pain. But what happened after that doesn't work?.

The ant left a white streak behind it as it rushed toward Jacob. They collided with each other and few winds raged on. Both of them were engaged in ferocious close combat. Jacob sent a flurry of knife slashes at the ant.

The ant saw the attack coming but didn't fight back. It left it to hit his exoskeleton. The two were evenly matched, Jacob never had the power to break his exoskeleton and the ant was not letting Jacob near his nodes any longer.

Jacob dodged a few more of the ants' attacks, but his mind was still stumped for a solution.

Boom!

The ant knocked Jacob to the ground. This time it was not going to waste the opportunity to kill him. The ants' claws burst with energy as it was about to hit Jacob with the power of a mammoth.

"Aim for the antennas! That's their weak spot!".

Jacob heard a voice shouting out to him. He did not know who the voice came from but that did not matter. Jacob instantly opened his eyes and he realised the voice just might be right. The Ants use their antennas to communicate through pheromones, it was what made them able to move around as well.

Jacob shot up like a rocket and skillfully evaded the ants' attack. Jacob pushed off on its front legs and propelled itself towards the ant face. The ant tried to crush Jacob with its mandibles but Jacob evades it.

The ants' expressions became extremely ugly. It made a mad dash without even thinking, but it was too late. As Jacob held onto his antenna with a mighty hold, he used a knife in his hand to quickly chop off the antenna of the ant.

He lost his only leverage on the ant and fell.

Kreiekkk!

Jacob looked at the ant was screaming and wallowing on the ground. IT looked like it was in a great deal of pain, It sounded like it was crying. Jacob didn't care for any of it, he ran upon him and unleashed a barrage of punches into his nodes.

The barrage of punches made the ant scream out even more. Soon his body was blown in two from the waist. The ant twitched and died. Jacob felt like he could fall over then and there but he didn't.

Scrcr!

Jacob heard a little noise behind him. The noise was from the larvae wh was probably blown off on the battle somehow. Jacob sees more super creature ants not much weaker than the one he just fought so he would not be able to bask in his victory.

He scooped up the little larvae and threw it back into his bag and he ran away.

Jacob was gone and the battlefield with the superclass creature of each side was disrupted. Jacob's fight had turned the tide of the battle of each ant. The Ant he fought was a part of the Creta faction, it was one of their strongest fighters.

Super Creature ants could fight for hours at a stalemate. So losing two super creatures in less than 2 hours was brutal, for them. They eventually started to lose their upper hand and with it, their fighting spirits dwindled.

Jacob ran toward the swarm in hopes of reaching the golden egg. The golden egg was still being ruthlessly fought over but Jacob was adamant about stealing it.

Jacob reaches where the ant was and is faced with hundreds of ants in front of him. He predicted where the ant was going next and quickly jumped in the air and pushed it away. An ant caught it and he was torn apart.

Jacob was in a predicament. He needed to grab the egg and leave as quickly as possible but it would be that simple. He needed a flawless plan. There was no simple way about it.

He kept trying to trail the Queen's egg for hours all while protecting himself. Jacob's movement was incredible. He wiggled through the swarm of ants and finally was able to consistently follow the egg in each direction.

Because of Jacobs timely prediction and clover of luck. He was finally in a position he needed to be in to steal the egg. It needed to be somewhere in front of a cave opening closer to the exit so he could grab it in the air and hit the ground running.

"A little more" Jacob stared a the egg in the air waiting for it to fall lower to jump and snatch it from the air. Soon his moment came and he flew from the ground and into the air.

In a swift motion, he grabbed the Queen's egg a stuffed it into his bag, he did this to hide the glow that it gave off. He soared through the air in front of his escape opening.

Jacob hit the ground running and went full sprint into the tunnel. He could hear the thousands stomping behind him. He took a second to look back and he saw what looked like a have of craved ants. The ants were a lot more aggressive when they saw Jacob running with their Queens egg.

The colony could not survive without a queen, but it was somewhat different. It looked like they all wanted it for themselves. They continued to chase Jacob with deranged screeches as they flood through the tunnel directly behind him.

Jacob continued to run as he tried to lose them at a turn. Jacob came to an intersection where one of the tunnels shone with light from the outside. The ants were gaining more momentum on him and he quickly took a sharp right and headed straight for outside.

Jacob dived out of the cave and accidentally fell. He recouped himself in seconds. He was just about to run away thinking that ants were still following him, he turned around for a glimpse but then he stopped and did a double-take to see they were rushing in the other direction.
