Hatching a Plan
"Jacob! Close your mouth!"
Rosane scolded Jacob, food fell from his mouth to the ground. When Jacob got over his initial shock, he could only hold his head in defeat.
"Mother, do you know anything about the beast-like what It may look like?"
Rosane started to sense something weird about the questions he was asking him.
"No I don't know, you shouldn't care about it either"
She observed Jacob reaction to this but he simply smiled. It was as if they were playing a mind game. They both finished eating and Rosane watched to make sure Jacob was asleep.
Most lights in the ship went off, leaving the only light from outside the ship.
After that, she made her bed and fell asleep shortly after.
Jacob heard the rhythmic breathing and robotically opened his eyes. He knew his mother was asleep. He waved his finger over her hand and got no response.
